Featherkit looked at her mother sadly and wondered what why she was crying. She jumped over Dewyfeather's tail and saw Fernstrike's dead body. "N-no...." she whimpered. Featherkit stared at Fernstrike. "Dad... Why...." she mewed softly. She curled up in Fernstrike's cold body and started crying.
