even though Kore was struggling to keep a calm mind as she listened she nodded as he explained they would be going into enemy territory to teach the man that were crossing over a lesson. She would get revenge. Her bright eyes meet his dark eyes softly. It was clear he had calmed down, so Kore relaxed ever so slightly. Damian had sat beside her causing her to blush as she realized her attire. She had not realized that he would've been up and out this late. She quickly tried to tug the t shirt down a bit to cover her smooth legs. It was clear why she had been a successful dancer. Her beauty was almost entrancing, but in a dark way. She didn't look like your standard model, but no one could deny that she was beautiful.

She heard him warn her not to touch any innocents. He barely go to finish when Kore replied, "Of course not. There isn't a reason to harm someone who didn't choose this. It wouldn't be right." The young woman would much rather just hunt down the men responsible and make an example out of them. She wouldn't have dreamed of attacking someone with no reason. He explained that she would be meeting and training with others, which made her feel a rush of excitement and nerves. "If you think I can handle it then I trust you." She said as she nudged him gently in an affectionate manner. It always felt he was looking out for her. She felt her heart beat slightly faster as she looked at the older man sitting beside her.

She wanted him to take her and was happy that he trusted her. She just didn't want to let him down. "I am sorry you had such a rough day..." Kore said softly as she rubbed one of his tense shoulders. She was pretty good at massages. She wasn't classically trained, but she did have practice, "Here your body is stiff can you shift some?" She asked as she applied a deeper pressure to his back. Normally she would've requested him shirtless, but she didn't know how she would even ask that. "Thank you for the phone, but you still owe me lunch." She teased softly as she worked out the knots he had from stress.

Alex leaned down reassuring her that things can and will be changed if need be, which caused her to sigh softly. So far it looked pretty okay to her besides where they were to rule. Windsor was a much larger kingdom and had many ports. It would only make sense that the relocate to there. If not the castle would have no one to run it. It wasn't even about it being her home. Plus Selena and her husband could rule here if her marriage only was to further the power of the combined power of windsor and wolfshire. She knew better than to bring it up yet. Her emerald eyes resting upon him and it was clear she wasn't fully satisfied with that answer. After he added they would discuss it tomorrow did her eyes soften, "Yes I do think that we should discuss it. However, you are right this is no time to be knit picking the treaty when we will need our minds full strength at dinner." She stood straight up once more straightening her dress.

Elena normally would've addressed that relentlessly, but because Alex had pressed for tomorrow she dropped it. The stubborn woman had folded this round. She was very independent and just some of the other clauses made her want to rip her hair out, but for Alex she would compromise. He was growing on her slowly as he was showing her patience. She was happy with the type of man he was. He did not force her out of her comfort zone or try to tame her. He let her be who she was, which was a nice change. Her thoughts caused her to smile softly Alex's nickname pulling her from her thoughts. She blushed softly as she took his hand, "You know that nickname won't last forever since I will be your queen." She teased as they moved into the hallway, but turned before the door closed, "Thank you sure for your hardworking." Even though she was royalty she saw the people as humans not as pawns like many others.

As she walked with Alex back across the castle she asked, "Will you pick out a dress you like for dinner since I typically don't dress up that often?" She looked up at him with soft eyes, but she was also curious on his style. She knew that dinner was going to be rough. There was definitely something up Catherine's sleeve, and Elena really didn't want to find out what it was. "Also you can call me El. It is what my friends and family call me casually." She added showing that he didn't have to be so formal with her.

Kore knew that Damian wasn't like this with others even with his family he usually wouldn't let this slide. She knew that she was almost pushing it, but she did want to provide him so relief even if it was brief. She knew that the both of them were strong in their own ways and that they would both push through when it was rough, but Kore knew how much easier it was when you had someone else with you. Her small hands working through the tension on his back. Kore's love language was shown by touch and by affection. Occasionally she would give gifts, but that was usually reserved for special event. The woman had black strands of hair fall into her face as she worked on his back.

He had responded to her light hearted comment over lunch with a chuckle. Without thinking a smile appeared on her face. His laugh warmed her heart as he poked back at her, "That's fair I am sure we will have plenty of time together." She said as she moved her hands to his mid back. She knew that Damian wasn't normally like this with everyone. She was happy that even if it was just behind closed doors he was like this with her. It made her happy to know that they got on so well. It felt like they had known each other in another life. Kore was finally getting to come out of her shell and be herself with him. She checked his lower back and there were no knots thankfully. She would've needed him to lay down if he had knots there.

Her hands moved back over his shoulders as the pair of them sat on the leather couch. It was silent as she worked and he was clearly thinking. She knew that eventually she would be more comfortable in this world, but for now she was going to learn and follow her leader. She was obeying not only from that, but out of respect for the man. She was learning by his example, but he would seen how strong she'd become with time. Kore would be a force to be reckoned with. That would be made clear by the end of her training. She was ready to learn and to take on what they through at her on this trip. She wanted to be useful as soon as possible.

As he pulled away from her hands Kore knew he was serious, "I trust you Damian. I figured that you wouldn't I am prepared to listen as well as learn. I will do as you ask." Her bright blue eyes burned with determination as she locked gaze's with his dark eyes. She knew he was doing this because she wasn't trained and he wanted to make sure no mistakes were made. She understood that things could go sideways quickly, but she was prepared. This would be telling on how she would do in the gang. She wanted to prove herself. She held his gaze, "Do we know who we are hunting?" She asked her eyes twinkling with anticipation as she leaned forward. It was clear excitement was taking over.

Kore's nerves were everywhere as she listened to him, "Also how long will we be in the other city? How long will we stay?" She asked question after question. She was excited for her first job. She wanted to know the actual plan though. She wondered just how closely by his side that Damian was expecting her to be. She also was interested to met the other men he worked with regularly.

(Do we want her to be shot on this trip, or a later time?)

She smiled as he teased her back she enjoyed the banter they had. She gasped softly as Alex quickly tugged her over to the window. It caused her to almost fall into him, so she pressed her body to his side with an arm that ran across his chest. She blushed as she stood with him like this. There was a beautiful scene below the two of them as he told her she would have to wear the dress that he picked. She giggled softly and in a teasing tone she replied, "There wouldn't be much of a point if I asked you to pick it out, but I didn't wear it." The two of them stood as Alex explained a bit of his plan for tomorrow and Elena beamed, "Really? I can't wait then it looks beautiful." The woman was excited, but knew that the evening probably wouldn't be to much fun.

Alex to her surprise hadn't found a dress he had liked, but she understood that sometimes you just needed new attire. After he had bis her farewell she decided sleep would be the best action since they had been up late and she knew Catherine would be taxing. The brunette tossed and turned a bit, but overall it wasn't a bad nap. A servant had knocked softly causing Elena to stir. The dress was a beautiful royal blue. One of Windsor's colors. She wasn't sure if that was intention, but it caused her to smile. Her bright green eyes taking in the beautifully made dress. She had to give Alex props he had good taste.

Elena began to get ready after drawing for a bit. She slid into the dress. Her tanned back exposed, and a slit in the dress stopping at her mid thigh. The dress was light weight and was in between cause and a ball dress. It was a very good pick. Elena knew she should pull her long caramel curls up into a messy up do. Little curls framing her face. She put on a bit of make up at her vanity. A bit of mascara as she framed her eyes. She powdered her cheek a soft pink with blush. As she was putting on earring to match the dress she heard a knock. Her heart beating faster. She looked at the door through the mirror and smiled at Alex in greeting.

Alex had come in with a royal blue top and he looked dashing. She moved to put on sandals since she couldn't wear heels yet. She felt his eyes roaming her body before he met her emerald eyes, "Why thank you Alex. You even look good in Windsor colors." She winked flirty as she took his arm. He lead the two of them casually. Before they entered the dining hall he offered her a piece of advice She would try to place nice since he had asked. The couple walked in together and Alex pulled out the chair beside him for the brunette. She sat down and he moved her easily to the table.

She faintly remembered the man sitting at the table with them vaguely, "It has been awhile since I have seen him, but hello Sir Edward it is nice to see you once again. How is Albini? " She asked politely slightly confused on why he was here. It was clear that the man was staring at Elena hungrily, which was the reason her father had tried to start guarding her from the world. From greedy man after her power, beauty, and wealth. She shifted slightly uncomfortably as she glanced at Alex.

The younger woman huffed slightly as he cut the conversation short, but she didn't press it. She knew he was tired and that the days ahead would be trying. "Good night Damian." She called softly as she stood up off the couch slowly. She walked back to her room her feet padding softly on the hard wood floors. She closed her door softly behind her. She climbed into bed and snuggled down squeezing her eyes shut. She took a bit to fall asleep, but sure enough she was still exhausted from the day.

His scratchy morning voice caused Kore to stretch under the covers, "Good morning to you too Damian." She said with a raspy voice. Her bright blue eyes adjusting to the dim light in her bedroom. He seemed to disappear as soon as she sat up. She quickly found a bag and began to pack a wide variety of outfits. She had no clue what she would need. She then proceeded to put on sneakers, athletic shorts, and a graphic t shirt. She was ready in about 15 minutes because she didn't want to be late.

As the pair of them loaded the car Kore noticed Rebecca with a nervous look on her face. Kore waved and offered her a slight no to tell her she would watch over him. She would do her best. She climbed into the truck and put her seatbelt on her eyes searching over Damian. He was in full fledge work mode. She turned on the radio to older rock songs and began to hum along. He mentioned food and Kore just nodded. She was getting into a good head space for the trip. She knew as they drove he would explain. She knew better than to ask him again especially when he was like this. He probably would have little patience till this was done. Kore would need to be diligent. Kore folded one leg under her as she shifted to get comfortable and put her phone in the cup holder.

Kore watched as the scenery passed them by as she began to sing to the songs. Her voice followed the energy of the song, but you could hear the pain that filled her voice. It was clear that she could sing and she was trying to do so quietly unsure if Damian would enjoy it this early. She turned her seat heater on so her body wouldn't be stiff. She couldn't sleep her nerves were getting the better of her.

The four royals sat along a large wooden table stained a dark chestnut brown. I seemed as though hundreds of candles was lighting the darkening dining hall. Elena’s dress twinkling in the candlelight as she was aware of the mounting tension. Her dark prince was clearly becoming true to his name around this man. She felt his hand cover her smaller one, but she simply just smiled softly at Alex as he did so. She knew better than to break the facade right now it was war. She would remain allied to Alex as the dinner progressed. She didn’t like the man that was staring at her. He looked at her with the eyes of the men her father tried to hide her away from. She remained sitting y’all as she took a sip of her wine. It was clear to her what Catherine was doing now and she felt herself growing hotter.

Before Elena got to speak to answer Edward Alex cut in dryly informing him that they were indeed. Engaged to be wed sooner rather than later, which was news to hear. She hasn’t heard any news of the wedding. Edward expresses his fake concern of the fact Elena was the last of her kingdom. She hid her pain as she winced inwardly at the abrupt question. Her bright green eyes hardening as she offered her award winning smile, the one that people fell for. “The news is unfortunate, but yes my kingdom was attacked. I am the sole survivor of my family. Thankfully Alex was able to rescue me when I was in dire need of assistance. It was odd that my supposed enemy would be willing to do such even as my allies were silent for a week. I’m sure news would’ve traveled with the traders.” Her tone was accusing him, but she also knew that her allies hadn’t even moved an inch to see where she was until over a week later. Which caused her blood to boil slightly. “After he saved me he had me tended to. We agreed to go forward with the marriage to strengthen the two kingdoms and provide prosperity to both our allies. Some being mutual like Albini. I can assume I will see you at the wedding to support your two allied kingdoms correct?” Elena was careful with her words. Nothing was rude, but there was definitely an underlying message. She knew that by her saying this she would be standing her ground in the matter. After she finished she leaned to Alex and gave him a small kiss on the cheek stating her own message to the room. Her soft lips meeting his warm skin for just a moment, but it still caused her heart to flutter. She wouldn’t lose the war that was happening at the table.

As she moved back to her chair she could see the jealousy in Edwards face and Catherine wanting to leap over to strangle the girl. Her eyes remaining hard as she sat at the table. After what felt like ages the servants brought out their main course. It made the room smell wonderful as the colorful plates were set in front of them. Elena was on her best behavior in front of them. Full princess charm and all. She really was like a different person when she acted as her mother taught. Minding her manners eating properly. The sweet facade was probably her biggest weapon as Elena rarely broke character if it was needed. Alex’s tight grip on her hand wasn’t loosening, but she needed to hands to eat, “My lord can I have my hand back?” She mused softly as she looked at him softly. She knew he forgot his hand was even holding hers.

Damian's sudden words caused Kore to jump nervously as she cast a sideways glance. He wanted to hear her? "Since you asked so nicely." She teased as she rolled her eyes playful as a smile danced across her face. She didn't realize that he had liked her singing so much. It made her proud that he enjoyed it. She didn't realize that he had been listening to her sing as they had been driving. She smiled softly as she began to sing over the music as she felt his eyes glance on her occasionally. She began to sing with her full volume as she got a bit more comfortable. Her bright eyes sparkling in the morning sun. She felt as though she was putting on a concert in the truck. She shifted between older 2000's songs from artists like Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson and Jordan Sparks.

After an hour her show finally drew to a close as Damian pulled into the diner. Fully aware that there would be minimal stops. Damian acted slightly strange as he led the way seeming to rush her into a booth. Her bright blue eyes looking at a simple menu as they sat down. As her gaze flicked back up to Damian's he offered a smile. He was given a sweet smile back as she tilted her head slightly. The cafè was relatively empty and it was giving off a warm cozy feel.

As Damian began to speak about his past it caught Kore off guard. She never really heard him even mention his past before the gang. She could understand why his dad took him here. The aroma of coffee hitting your nose as warmth enveloped you after you entered. The almost soft buzz that seemed to comfort its few patrons. She smiled at the though of a much younger Damian sitting in one of the booths. The waitress asking for her drink pulling her from the cut into her thought, "Umm a vanilla coffee please." She ordered as the waitress nodded and walked away. Damian began to explain what the objective was of the trip. She reluctantly agreed to him. She knew better than to try and step out of line. Was she upset that she wouldn't get total retribution, but she knew that whatever Damian was planning was worth it. She would comply to what he asked, "I understand. I won't do anything to get in the way of your plan." She had noticed the stern warning look he had given her. She knew he wasn't budging.

It seemed as though Damian had inhaled his food causing Kore to try and eat it a bit faster. She had just ordered an omelette with hash browns. The silver fork entering her parted pink lips with every bite. Her long raven colored hair was shining red from the open neon sign. She quickly finished her food as she noticed his stare from across the table causing her to blush. Damian watched her and he seemed to sigh in annoyance. She frowned slightly as he did so, "Sorry if my face is offending you." She jested as it bothered her slightly as she was trying to figure out why he had reacted that way to her. She took the last sip of her coffee as he was setting money on the table. This time Kore didn't wait for Damian as she walked out to get into the truck. She was pouting as she climbed back into the truck. She didn't reach for the radio after he started the truck. She turned her back to him as sh looked out the window. She didn't know what she was feeling so bitter.

Elena smiled at Edward, but her eyes were giving off murderous intent as her hardened stare seemed to bore into him "Are you questioning I the crowned heir of Windsor. That I wouldn't be making this decision on my own?" Her voice held a tone that warned him to tread carefully. This was what her father taught her. That Windsor was usually a peaceful nation, but was also the strongest. She held massive trade passages for Albini that she could revoke, "Edward I am sure that you remember that my father and I have never been pushovers. I simply am trying to stop the fighting and so is Alex. I thought my friends and allies would enjoy such good news, but it seems as though I was mistaken. Everything Alex has done was respectful and as if I was a guest. I suggest you tread lightly since you are a guest here as well.” Her charisma and strength of character was commanding the room and conversation. It was a very clear warning for Edward to show her the respect she was due and that she would not just sit back and listen to him suggest she wasn't in charge of her actions.

After her warning her eyes softened, "Because it would be a shame considering it sounds like you are making accusations that you can't back up. Is that how you truly see my future husband?" She pressed gently knowing that she shouldn't press any further per Alex's request. She took a bite of the food following it with another sip of her wine. There was light music playing softly as they ate from musicians. This dinner was dragging on and it wasn't helping that Edward was draining her emotionally as well as Catherine. She could feel Catherine’s eyes resting upon her, but didn't give her the satisfaction of looking back at the queen mother. They ate for a bit silently after Edward's response. It was clear had made her statement loud and clear. That she is in charge of her own decisions and that is you are spreading rumors about Alex she would crush their kingdom. She just didn't say it bluntly.

Elena had been a champion and commander of Windsor's army for years now. Edward knew she held the power of the people and that when Windsor put its foot down and they got push back they answer it harshly. Elena shifted weight as she drank a bit more trying to numb her hip. Her cheeks flushing a light pink as the wine warmed her stomach. She looked at Alex with soft eyes as she smiled cutely. She did think he was handsome and the wine was removing the guard she had built up with him. She was still on edge enough she would still be able to hold her own in word play.

She had stayed silent for the ride as she hummed softly to the music. She didn't mind having it on she just wasn't going to sing for him. She felt as though he looked at her and frowned. What could she have done to upset him? She sighed softly as they finally got into the new town. Kore's bright blue eyes were taking in the city line excitedly. She didn't ever travel so it was a change of pace for the young girl. The pistol making a thud as he set it on the glove box causing Kore to jump slightly. It reminded here that they were here for a job not pleasure.

Kore simply nodded to Damian showing that she understood. She still didn't feel like talking to him. The group of men clearly were interested in Kore the moment she stepped out of the truck. It was clear they weren't expecting her to be the other person that Damian was bringing. Kore however seemed to radiate a seemingly dangerous aura, which seemed to excite some of the men further. The normally bubbly woman was replaced by a serious one. She was shifting into a work mindset like she had done when she danced, but now she knew she had to be ruthless. Especially if it was this big of a job. Her blue eyes icy as she didn't flinch away from the bigger men. She followed a few steps behind Damian on his right side. After the short greeting between Damian and Bane they trio moved inside the small house.

Kore was remaining silent as the two men talked. She knew that she could ask Damian to clarify later. She sat relaxed, but it was clear she was on edge. Her hardened eyes scanning around the house. It was clear that she was almost a different person. Her icy eyes landed on Damian as she caught his glance. It caused her gaze to soften for a moment. "Excuse me." She said softly as she moved towards the bathroom. It had been awhile since she had relieved herself. Plus it would allow her a chance to see a bit more of the house. It was still in Damian's eye shot as her curvy figure walked away from the two men.

At the mention of a consummation ceremony the young woman stiffened. He hadn't he had not said a word about it to her. Before Elena could even finish processing the information she just heard Alex had unleashed his fury. Everyone in the room was shaken by the Prince of Wolfshire's rage. Elena however would be returning that fury to Alex when they had time to talk in private. Now was not the time or the place. She also was slightly drunk from the wine. Catherine chimed in next even after her son's fury. She was sure they were different. Of course they were very few kingdoms even still had that tradition. At that point Alex was done and had snapped. Elena hadn't even been able to speak on the matter before he grabbed her hand tightly and almost dragged her out of her chair.

As he pulled her out of the dining hall her face twisted with pain as he moved her quickly. A crimson liquid spreading from her hip onto the dress. Her bright green eyes flooded with pain as Alex he released his grip. Her hip had re opened partially and she moved away slightly and leaned against the wall. "Right now is not the time to discuss whatever they were talking about. For no I need to go tend to my hip." She replied with pain running through her words. She had heard the man's apology, but wasn't intending on responding to it. A cold fury was filling her as she thought about what the other royals had said. The brunette turned around and began to try and manage the stairs.

She had refused Alex's help as he hovered around her worriedly. Her bright green eyes glancing at him as she finally pushed the door open to her room, "I need to undress and see the damage." She said simply as she undid her hair from the updo. The beautiful dress was now ruined from the blood stain. It was a pity she really liked the dress. She sighed as she struggled to untie the bodice of the dress. The wine was not helping her at the moment. She could feel anger and wine heating her and she knew it wasn't a good time. There had to be some reason he didn't mention it. So for now he would leave it alone.

She let her anger fade as she finally asked for help, "Alex can you please untie my dress?" She asked a brighter blush appearing on her face. Her back was toned as Alex's cool finger brushed the nape of her neck causing her to shiver slightly. Her tanned skin was warm and smooth. She could feel how close he was to her and it made her nervous. Her heart began to beat faster at their close proximity, but this time it was from excitement. The wine really beginning to hit her.

Kore had just sat back down as Bane was on his way out. She offered an incandescent smile as the other man was leaving. After the door clicked shut behind them Kore sighed as she let the facade fade away. She was use to putting on a show for work. It helped her having a work and home persona, so she could focus and act as she needed. As she began to relax slightly, but Damian's apology caught her attention. Her soft blue eyes landing onto his gentle gaze. It was clear that he was trying, and slightly odd the man was even apologizing to her. A well groomed eyebrow had raised at him calling himself cranky and emotionally constipated essentially. She giggled softly a warm smile beaming towards him, "I would have never guessed." She teased with a wink, but then added, "But thank you I do accept your apology and I appreciate you even apologizing." She said sweetly as she but her pink lip softly.

The mention of training caused her to get excited," If you aren't to tried I wouldn't mind training a bit to calm my nerves. I also don't want to push it though. So if you need rest we can do that as well." She added stating what she'd rather do, but also didn't want it to be detrimental to him. She was slightly worried about how tired he was getting. She didn't make her worry known though. She wasn't even sure why she was worried. He was an adult capable of making his own choices, but she seemed to want to sing him to sleep. His raised eyebrow got the inked girls gaze as he joked about her changing. She smirked devilishly fully intending to give him crap back, "Is that so will you come help me pick what I'm wearing?" She teased in a seductive tone as she walked by him brushing her hand across his shoulder. Her light touch was intentional in the tease as her sweet scent reached his nose. However, she continued past him as she went to grab her back from the back of the truck.

She opened the door as other men were still outside. It was clear they were looking at her in both curiosity and desire. She kept her cool as she walked to the bed of the truck her shirt lifting as she reached over the side of the truck. Her tone mid section showing. The men began taking bets to see who could get with her first. After a few moments she moved her bag onto her shoulder and ducked back into the house,"Where is the bedroom?" She asked softly so she could go change. Her bright blue eyes scanning the relatively modern house. She saw Damian move towards her and she diverted her gaze as he walked up. "There are quite a few people here with not that many bedroom are we-?" She trailed off as she asked. She wasn't sure and she could be wrong, but it seemed as though they would be splitting a room.

She was blushing and her body was warm as she Alex was in the room with her with only underwear. She covered her chest with a hand and forearm. Her chest appearing rather large as he moved to her asking to help. Her body tensed as his hands gently took hold of her small tanned body. Her flesh was warm against his cooler touch causing her to divert her gaze. It stinging softly as he cleaned it. It wasn't like he couldn't have cleaned it herself, but between the wine and pain she didn't mind laying on the bed to let him help. He worked while keeping his eyes mostly concentrated on the wound.

His explanation of why he hadn't told her about the ceremony gave her mixed feelings. She was getting heated again as she thought about it. She technically could request for Windsor's traditions to be honored, but she felt that she would now Alex's answer. She merely sighed gently before speaking, "Then we can leave this to tomorrow then Alex. I am less than thrilled that it would even be something on the table. It is obvious I would be opposed and that Windsor does not share that position on the matter. So either was regardless of your intentions I am not happy." She spoke simply. She almost felt betrayed that he would even be remotely okay with sharing the kind of intimate moment. It was to be her first time and she didn't really want anyone else to witness it. It seemed dirty to her. She was very much opposed to the idea. After he was done and look satisfied with his handy work he moved away from the princess. She knew he wouldn't be thrilled with her answer.

He seemed to hover by her door after he apologized once more and told her what they would do tomorrow. She wanted to reach out for him to touch him. Was it the wine? She couldn't be sure, "If you wish to stay and talk or discuss normal thing we can. I wouldn't mind getting to know you a bit more." She invited softly. She didn't know if he would take it. Half of her hoped that she would. It wasn't often that she made new friends, or that a man took her interest. She wanted to trust Alex, but after this instance it seemed hard to want and open up. It felt like he was unintentionally keeping secrets. The brunette blushed still realizing how she looked as the two of their gazes met, "Can you umm bring me a large shirt even if its one of yours so I can be decent?" She said sheepishly as she felt his eyes catching a small glimpse of her body.

The shirt was a bright red. One of wolfshire's colors. It made her caramel waves stand out against it. She watched him peak slowly to make sure that she had been dressed before he looked at her once more. At his short response she rolled her bright green eyes, "It seems as though you think very little of yourself then if that is the end of your list." She teased softly sh enjoyed the banter. Elena wanted to get to know Alex naturally. She wanted him to be comfortable talking to her and telling her things. She knew if she asked directly she would get her answer. She always got her answer.

She frowned softly as she could see the older man was burdened and tired, "There will be time to discuss the treaty and everything along those lines tomorrow. For now can we pretend to just be normal people getting to know each other? Please come sit." She patted the bed beside her softly. She knew how it must be for the prince. It was nice to not have to worry about all her duties for the time being. She knew there would be tons of paper work for her to do once she went back. She tucked a caramel curl behind her ear as she felt Alex's weight move the bed softly. Her heart beating faster as he did so. The wine was taking full affect as it warmed her body.

He asked if she would've married him things had been different. She paused softly making sure she had what she wanted to say, "You forget I am not unversed on who you are. In my teachings my father made me learn all the heirs to the kingdoms. I have also met you as Nerium. It had been awhile since I had seen you though. We were much younger. Plus I like to make my own assessments of people as you have seen. Plus you're just rough around the edges." She giggled softly before continuing, "I will say it would've taken more work doing it the traditional way, but honestly you have always been a suitor I had considered. You are very handsome and the kind of ruler that I view myself the most like. You are a man that knows what he wants and possibly the only man that can truly let me be myself. It would also help both of kingdoms end needless violence. I don't like losing my men over things that aren't necessary. Would I have thought that we would of get along this well? Not off the bat, but fate works in strange ways. That is why I accepted the offer because I have given it thought. There will need to be compromises though." She answered honestly as she felt him watching her carefully.

Her cheeks flushed from both embarrassment and wine she had been honest with him. "Your turn would you have married me? What do you think of me now that you met me?" She asked almost like a child as she rested her head on his chest. She was relaxed and comfortable with the man. She didn't know what her feelings were exactly yet, but she knew that when it was just the two of them it felt like they were a team and he would try to protect her from the world. But she would also defend Alex if she needed. The smell of vanilla and lavender hitting his nose again as her soft hair brushed against his arms.

He answered her teasingly, but her cheeks heated up at the suggestion as a few lewd thoughts hit her brain. She immediately diverted her blue eyes from him trying to hide how flustered she was. She usually never got flustered like this with men. It was thanks to her last job for that, but with Damian it was different. She couldn't put her finger on it which way, but she seemed to be getting a better idea. She played with a straight piece of black hair as he offered the door being open. Her cheeks got even warmer as her stomach got butterflies, "Don't tease me with a good time." She joked back trying to hide her embarrassment as she heard him leave the house.

Kore followed behind him closely as he led her into his room. She hovered at the door frame as he told her where her room was and to go change. She nodded as she set her stuff into the room that she'd be staying in. She put on a light blue crop top with white shorts. She was pulling her hair up into a messy bun when Damian was teasing her from behind her door, "Listen you got a head start." She shot back as she opened the door a few moments later. As she did she almost bumped into him. She had walked out and ended up inches from me. Her bright blue eyes looking up at him, "Lead the way old man." She teased as he led her to the back door of the house.

Once the two of them were out in the green grassy backyard he began to give her instructions. She moved to the stance he had showed her yesterday paying close attention to guarding her mid section. Her colorful arms up to block. Her blue eyes hardening as she focused. She knew he wouldn't be taking it easy even if he was tired. After a moment of thought she let out a garage of punches finished by a high kick. Her sides were rising and falling softly.

Kore's frustration was obvious as she continued her garage of attacks. It seemed impossible to connect her punches as they sparred. Thankfully she wasn't taking as bad as a beating from yesterday. She could feel as she moved that her muscles were sore. As she drew back for yet another attack Damian's hand caused her to stop in her tracks. Training was over and yet again she hadn't landed a shot. She was breathing quickly as sweat caused her skin to glow. His compliment and smile made her feel a bit better knowing that he indeed was pleased with her. She nodded at the mention of a shower and nap. Neither of them had slept well and they had to be up early, "Same here. Just knock if you need something." She replied softly as moved to her room her feet padding softly.

The black haired woman undressed seeing bruises forming on her body. She clicked her tongue softly as she knew Damian wasn't even using half of his strength. She sighed as her tense body crossed the room to her bathroom. Her toned body being reflected in the bright mirror. A tanned hand moving to turn the shower on to hot. She stepped in careful to check her skin wasn't red from the heat. She let the warm water run over her body as she decompressed. She washed her body and hair quickly. She needed rest her body was a bit more relaxed, but it was craving sleep. She slid on a large sweatshirt and climbed into the queen bed that she'd be occupying for the next few days. She laid her head down her eyelids fluttering shut.

Damian's voice woke Kore with a start. She felt like she hadn't got much sleep, but she forced her body out of her bed. She heard him request black and she set to work piecing together her outfit. She braided her raven colored hair into a long French braid. She slid on a long sleeve black crop top and pulled on a pair of black cargo pants. She was trying to hide her tattoos just incase. She knew that time was almost up as she slid on black combat boots. She opened her door her bright blue eyes meeting Damian's gaze. He looked handsome and she felt him look her up and down her cheeks flushed.

Before they left Damian had issues a gun with very clear instructions as she holstered it on her hip. "Of course." She said curtly as she followed him to the group of men out infant of the house. He didn't even have to speak as everyone understood to get in their vehicles. Kore tagging behind Damian closely as she climbed into the familiar passenger seat. The silence was causing Kore to get even more nervous so she decided to break the silence, "I won't let you down Damian." She said softly as if almost willing herself to believe it as well. The truck hummed as they drove her normally bright blue eyes serious as she watched the road as well. There was no singing on this ride, or atlas not yet.

The sudden boldness of Alex pulling her closer caused her to tense softly at first, but then relaxed. His sweet words were refreshing and helped her know how he was feeling. A bashful smile dancing onto her angelic features as he held her. "I am glad that I have got you thinking then Alex of Wolfshire. I hope one day you see the man I see." She said sweetly as his fingers moved to her soft curls causing the pink tint on her cheeks to darken and her ears to burn. His whisper caused her to shiver as his breath tickled her ear. She felt like her heart was about to beat out of her chest as his lips met her forehead again. His teasing made her pout softly even though she noticed he didn't move at all, "Do you want to go to your room?" She teased back softly as she looked at him with flirtatious green eyes.

At the mention of the possible outing tomorrow she seemed to light up the room, "If Wolfson gives me the okay I would love to go with the both of you." She said happily as her bright smile seemed to gleam in the light. She felt his hand move to her lower back and her cheeks were turning a deep pink as she bit her red lip. She looked up vulnerably to Alex just to see that he was deep in though, "Well isn't my lord blood tonight." She teased gently as she brushed two slender fingers across his jawline. She was comfortable around him like this. It was odd. Was it from the drama that she was caused and then he swept in to save her. He was being patient with her as she figured everything out. How could she not? The man was gentle and seemed to want to protect her and from what they both said her suspicion was confirmed. They both had an interest in each other for awhile, but their families were the reason that progress was never made.

The next move was bold even for Elena as she moved to straddle him a finger pulling his lip down gently, "Promise me we will spar again. That you won't change me and that you will try and respect my traditions. In return I will respect yours and try my best to understand. I may get heated about some of them, but I want compromise. I want a true partnership. Can you promise that to me Alex the crowned Prince of Wolfshire?" She knew that this would rile him up a bit. It was clear there would be a power struggle, but Elena would let Alex take lead in front of the kingdom, but when it came to them she would try to take the lead. At this point Elena was clearly fluster as she had to turn her gaze away for a moment.
