ic;; Tomorrow there was training. She didn't know what she was best at, but her mentor told her much about all the weapons and how the games go. I don't know why everyone at the capitol likes to watch a show about people killing other people. But not just any people, kids! Teenagers, children get killed, painful sad deaths! thought Chloe. "Oh but how I don't want to kill anyone!" she said aloud as her food was delivered into the room. She remembered what her mentor had told her about the cornucopia, the chaos at the start, the gamemakers, allies, tracker jackers, fires, drought, shelter, sponsors, hunger, everything! He told her what weapon might be best for her, but she was still very confused.
She ate a few bites of her food, then put it down on a small table. She turned on the replays of the viewings. She hadn't really payed attention to the other people there. She looked at the other outfits, then turned off the replays only to notice a window. She saw a remote beside it, but still looked out the window. She never really thought about how nice this was compared to her old farm back at her house. She lived a little ways out of the small town, but her family had the best livestock, and crops, therefore they had just enough money and food to keep themselves happy, and healthy. Both her parents were living, but most family's there, were separated, or dead for certain reasons.

Even though she had family and friends, and she's safe in the camp, a surge of loneliness dropped like a boulder into her stomach. What if, she stayed there, lonely to die of thirst and hunger, and never came back. Or maybe, drown in the water, shimmering in the sun. She wondered, about unnecessary things, but again, what if they really occurred.

As she stalked through the crunch of rough leaves under her paws, she thought about all of the warriors who died of fights, who died of the fire, who died of starvation at one point. The kits and queens cheerful and brave, who didn't make through the horrible Leaf-bare.
Pantherclaw wakes up and walks towards the fk pile and looks down to see, the almost completely bare, tiny, fk pile. It wasn't even much of a pile! His empty stomach grumble, as he took a stringy vole and struggled to eat it, but managed. Then walked into the forest to go hunting, before it gets to cold.
