    [size=8]paw's trembling with effort, she managed to push herself off the ground. she was starting to feel dizzy, and perhaps a bit faint, but coralreef wouldn't give up that easy. she kicked dust in her opponent's face, attempting to stun the cat for a couple moments, to give her some time to try to spring onto the cat.

    [size=8]the weight of the cat pouncing on her and the weight of just trying to keep her paws standingon the ground finally was too much for her. the world around her got blurry and it was spinning in circles.. wham! her limp body hit the cold ground, blood splattering from her muzzle. her first thought was she was dead. but no- she couldn't be. she heard her heartbeat, clear as anything. so.. if not dead, what was she?
