A small smile slipped onto his face. "Yeah, thanks. So far he's kept his abuse to the walls, so I guess I'm fine." He shrugged, changing the subject. "So you're lookin' for a drummer?"
    ((little more time))

Isolde was still in the process of being trained, but the job was already starting to grow on him. He liked the hard work delivered by a soft hand, unlike his old master, who had abused him badly. "Hello, Fall." He said, pawing the ground. He listened to what Sarge said, this had to be a wild horse.

Dominic chewed his lip for a moment before speaking. "Before my family moved here I had my own drum set." They had moved when he was 12, five years ago. "I've only gotten to play a handful of times since, and I'm probably pretty rusty. But if you're really that desperate, I may be able to pitch in a bit.

Isolde flicked his tail, annoyed at being ignored. "Hard work, is that so? Do you train and travel for shows? Do you pull logs or carts plows? Do you carry the weight of a man on you're back for long hours, interpreting and fulfilling his every wish? I doubt it."

Dancer was silent for a moment as she though. "I suppose. Yes."

Ironhide picked up a steady trot, catching the scent of the other wolf and...a pup? By lupin, mothers where so pushy. He stepped into the clearing, looking over the two wordlessly.
    ((only a few XD ))

Dominic watched the events going on, hiding a frown when Richie said he was leaving. He sighed, dusting off his faded blue jeans as he stood. "Everyone keeps ditchin'. Guess I should get going."

Astral stumbled upon Dimitra and Cervus. He was a lovely young buck, still filling out a bit, with a soft color and white belly, a few small black face markings. "Hello!" He called cheerily, tail flicking around.

Smythe remained in camp, the black fawn tip toeing along, not nearly as energetic as a few days ago, before the loss of his mother and sudden cold turkey switch to grass.

"I'd love to. Thank you, Dimitra. " He hopped down from a ledge, graceful movements carrying him over. He dipped his head to Cervus, even if the larger white buck couldn't see the gesture, it was out of habit. "How are you, Cervus?" He had great respect for him.

Isolde could kind of get that, considering is old master. But he was really starting to like his new life, and enjoyed human company...as long as it was good. "I'd say they're the smart ones, creating barns and those things we step in, then step out of, and find yourself in a different place without running. But whatever your view on them is, how long have you been out here?"

Isolde tilted his head, ears flicking softly. "Well, there is a rather high population of people out here, even if the land connects to the wilderness, why risk coming so close to the mankind you say you hate?"

Isolde had been stabled for a bit, and his legs begged for him to run and buck and rear and tear around the pasture. But he just shifted, pawing the ground. "Looking for stallions, eh?"

Dominic laughed. "Eh, your alright." He joked, grinning. "I guess I could stay, nothing else to do today. And it would be a shame to wake Ramsey, it's rare to see him quite." He looked down at the sleeping sight hound.

Isolde was a stallion, there was no way he could pass that one up. Her answer did nothing to knock down his spirits. "Well, this could be a small herd. Throw in Benji, the old donkey who'll be out anytime now, and we're set. But if you're looking for a stallion..." He smirked.
    ((new charrie, Benjamin the donkey!))

Ironhide shrugged. "Then Beta I am." A bit of power, that was always good. Although it was a pretty skimpy pack. He turned around, walking a few paces and coming up to the roots of an oak. "This could be Alpha's." The roots formed a deep, cave like opening in the ground.
