Do I miss my family? Of course I do! Finch was about to respond, but the words didn't come out. She gave the question more thought...My family? The sister who ignores me. The mother who moved away. The father who died. The uncle who was always caught up in his work. No. I don't miss them. Finch looked at the tribute. "No," She said. "No. I don't miss them." Finch said, blandly. "It must seem strange, not missing the ones who raised you." At that she paused, and let out a small chuckle. I must look crazy! "Do you miss your family?" Finch asked the girl. Then it hit her that she still didn't know her name. "Wait, don't answer that yet. What's your name?"

FrontPaw turns his head to see CloudStar. He padded towards her, then, looking over his shoulder, he said, "I have to go, see you later?" FrontPaw ran off towards CloudStar after he finished his sentence. "Hello, CloudStar." He said respectfully when he reached her.

FoxHeart padded around in her den, scanning the rows of herbs and medicines she had. She took some leaves, seeds and berries down and wrapped them in a large maple leaf. She now had a pain-killer packet. She was bored, so she made a travel-packet as well. She stored these under a small rock in the den. She laid down in her nest and sighed.

Fox In Dark Night got up out of his den. There were few wolves in this one, and Fox was the only wolf done training. Now, he had to wait for the apprentices to wake up, so he could train them. He silently stretched, then slunked out of the den like a shadow. His footsteps fell silent, his breathing quiet, and his tail held still. These actions were hard to learn, and even harder to master. After months of training, these actions came naturally to Fox. They earnned him his name and rank. Now he had to pass on these actions to the apprentices in the den. He sighed, and walked away from the entrance. He skimmed the border of the camp, and then sat down by a pile of autumn leaves. Fox In Dark Night didn't know whether the leaves were from this year or last, but he camouflaged with them perfectly.

Pine That Rests On Cliff awoke soon after, and looked for her long-time friend. It was a strange friendship, a hunter and a scout, because hunters are taught to howl and bay while scouts are taught to crawl through the shadows. But, they have always been friends. Pine looked around for Fox, but he was invisible. He must be 'camouflaging' as he calls it. Pine thought. So, Pinelooked along the outskirts of camp, and she was looking for leaves. Fox loved to hide near leaves. They matched his hue perfectly. That's when Pine saw it; the shape of an ear beside leaves. The outline of a wolf. She giggled, then walked over.
    "Well, hello." She said.
"You found me." Fox sighed. That just brought on another round of her giggles.

"You did?" FrontPaw wasn't surprised. He didn't look for CloudStar, and he was trying to smell prey or rouges. He wasn't concentrating on CloudClan-Cat smells. He hoped he wouldn't get in trouble for not sniffing her out. FrontPaw wondered what she would say next.

Pine nodded to Dawn. "Of course. I'll go hunting. Do you want anyone elseto come?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
Fox looked at Pine, then at Dawn, and decided his conversation was over. He turned around and crawled silently away. Usually it would take a few moments for Pine to register that he was gone. Once, Fox walked away in the middle of a descusion, leaving Pine talking to a dead tree trunk. Fox winded his way through several trees. He saw a flash of somehing. Fur? Yes, fur. Familiar fur. Fur that he saw this morning. Fox smiled and quickly ducked behind a bush. He peered through the leaves. The wolf was now in view. "Hello, Ivy. Good job!" Fox said. And he meant it. If Fox had not been walking away, Ivy would've snuck up on him.

FrontPaw nodded. "Thank you. I did miss a mouse, though," He said. He looked up into the thick tangle of the trees for a moment. Yes, FrontPaw thought. I can see how I missed her...

FrontPaw nodded. The vigil. Everyone else rests while the newly named warrior keeps guard alone, never speaking until dawn. Then a long, nice sleep...FrontPaw remembered. "Uh, CloudStar? PigeonPaw would be the only apprentice left..And it get really cold in the apprentices den alone. Can I spend a night there, after my vigil? Just one night?"
