Batwing followed right behind Adderpouce, sniffing the air around him to catch any scent of prey that might be scurrying around in the forest. He could smell the strong scent of a lizard scurrying around in the bushes in front of him and another strong scent up ahead, though he could not tell what it was.

Kyra pricked her ears and listened, she could hear something rustling in the bushes in front of her. She crouched down and started walking very slow and very quietly towards the bushes. Suddenly, a rabbit leaped out of the bushes and darted away from Kyra, but she was much faster and swifter than the rabbit and easily caught up to it, piercing its neck in her jaws. She slowly sat down and started eating the rabbit, still keeping her ears pricked for any other signs of prey.
