They dipped their heads.

But, she never thought about one day coming across someone that was suffering the same. Mady put her hand back in her jacket pocket and sat down beside him, not caring how wet the seat was. "Don't you have any other family you could stay with?" She asked. He could use a hug about now.... But that would be just plain weird. I'll give him one, but just not yet. She thought.

    Mady nodded understandingly and leaned back. "I'll never know the situation your in but I've watched enough shows to realize it's painful and it's worst than a nightmare. They show kids doing their best to cover it up because they still love their patents or they threatened them to never tell anyone." She looked at him. "I saw one with a young girl... No older than eight, being beaten by her father because her mother died giving birth to her and she was born with a rare disorder. Many of her friends ask her about the bruises she gets but she answers with the same reply; 'don't worry! It's nothing. Come on! I invented a new game.' Only one kid knew what was really going on and she warned him not to interfere or something bad will happen to him. He did anyways and the father killed him." Mady leaned forward, her hoodie blocking half of her face, "I would rather take all the pain for her. I know their just acting but it feels so real. He would hurt her for the littlest of things and it was tough, but her love for him was stronger. At the end, the girl moved in with her cousin from her mother's side and lived the rest of her life there, not having to worry about anything." She murmured.
