Misty followed Zane and went inside the den and laid down in the bedding she was in last time.

Falling-star saw her brother and Sasha and ran over towards them. "Did you hear the howl also?"

Misty moved during her sleep and rested her snout on the edge of Zane's paws. Eagle's-talon looked over in the direction of the howl. "Do you think they still smell Nightpack on us?"

Eagle's-talon's growled," if that happens we already know we can handle ourselves. Smooth-pebble and Rock-thrower hasn't come to find us yet, so I guess us leaving hasn't started anything big. They would know where to find us if they needed us." Falling-star remembered her friends. Called from their old ,destroyed, tribe of wolves. Following Eagle's-talon's orders since he was the soon to be alpha before the nearby Indians attacked.

Eagle's-talon understood the message at once, and gave a flick of his tail that he understood and gave a step back. Falling-star looked at the other wolves. "What do you think we should do about the howls? They should be from members of this pack right."

Eagle's-talon looked around and waited to see Stormclaw's howl got an answer, even though he was uncertain about it. Falling-star looked st Sasha then at her brother, she felt sad for him, he was ready for a big responsibly of leading a tribe of wolves then he had to let it all go without a argument.

Icepaw drank some of the bone tingling water then stretched her mouth over the three fish she caught, all small but plump, and stood beside her mentor.

Falling-star looked at sympathy in her eyes and padded over to him and licked his neck fur. Eagle's-talon looked at his sister and sighed slightly and padded more slowly behind Stormclaw, with Falling-star by his side.

Eagle's-talon knew Stormclaw was testing him. He looked at the pups, but he didn't care what they thought. Then he looked at Stormclaw calmly," It would be the best if you lead the way, I haven't came across that meadow while I was alone." Falling-star looked at Sasha then at the pups, the last thing she wanted was a fight, but if there was she would stand by her brother. She had no mate yet so it seemed the right choice.

Falling-star padded beside Sasha, with Eagle's-talon beside her. She stared into the vastness of the meadow, and its dips in the earth and small patches of rock closer to the mountain side.

Falling-star watched as the wolves skid over the ice and places her paws on it. Spreading out her weight between her, she slowly propelled herself forward. Getting faster as she goes on. Eagle's-talon turned around slightly, looking back in the direction of the howl. He could smell the wolves scent, many different faint scents, before turning around and following his sister.

Falling-star and Eagle's-talon looked at each other with humor in their eyes. Then they both walked/'skated' over to Sasha. One on either side of her. Then they pressed their body weight against her to steady her out before helping the pups up.

Icepaw trotted behind her mentor. Her tail in the air, proud of her catch.

Eagle's-talon grew a growl deep in his throat as he smelt the scent of wolves go stronger. He nudged Falling-star towards the side of the ice sheet and pushed her off of it. The ground was rockier there but it would be easier to run. He slid over to the side and started to run beside his sister. Passing Sasha and the pups, they sprinted. Falling-star called over to Sasha to show her an easier way to run.

Icepaw's eyes gleamed as she dropped her prey in the fresh-kill pile. The she licked her paws clean from the fishy scent on them.
