Echowish looked over to Lightningtail. "Hello!" She dipped her head. She stood up and burried the rest of the kill.

"Nightflame." He responded. "Medicine cat of Cloudclan." He looked at her paws. "Are your paw pads sore at all?" He asked. "It gets kind of rocky around here. My pads have grown used to them but I don't know about you." He asked a bit concerned.

"Fine." She replied. Echowish sat back down. "I didn't sleep to well. But I feel like my day will get better." She smiled and shuffled her paws. "How about you?"

Nightflame took a dock leaf and chewed it to a pulp. He spit it out on another dock leaf and carried it over to Lilly. "Rub your paws in this. It'll help sooth them." He stepped back a bit to give her enough room. Nightflame looked up and noticed it was almost sun high.

"Sure." She purred.

Nightflame realized he had to get back to camp soon so no one would worry. But for some reason he didn't want to leave. "I have to get back to my clan....But this should be applied often until your pads get better." He made up. "So I'll see you here tonight?" He asked.

Nightflame nodded and headed back to camp. On his way back he spotted Nimbuspaw. "Nimbuspaw..Why are you out of camp?" He asked with a mouthful of dock.

Nightflame raised a brow, but it quickly changed to a smile. "Then why did you stop. You don't want other warriors catching you do you? Hurry back." He started trotting back to camp. He stopped and turned back. "If anyone asks where you were tell them you were with me collecting herbs." He started back to camp.

Nightflame made it back and walked into camp. He went into his den and laid the dock in place. "There." He smiled. He stared at the herbs thinking of Lilly. He shook his head. I'm a medicine cat! I can't fall in love! Plus..she's not even in the clan. The thought fustrated him. None the less Nightflame shook it off and went to sit in the clearing.

Nightflame looked at the apprentice. "Dock." He replied.

Nightflame shook his head. "No nothing happened. Just some loner on the outside of our border. I was making sure..." He paused for a second not wanting to give much away. "He knew where the border was. But he's no threat." He gave his chest a couple licks. He felt smart that he's said lilly was a tom, so Nimbuspaw wouldn't suspect anything.

"No there wasn't a fight." He chuckled. "In fact he left peacefully. I told him that he was getting close to our border and he turned and walked away." Nightflame meowed.

Echowish looked at the fresh kill pile. "Actually thats looking kind of low. We could go hunting." She purred.

Nightflames fur bristled. "W-well he left so..Maybe next time." He said a little nervous. He looked for a distraction. His ears fell when he realized he himself is the distraction. "Well Nimbuspaw, I need to get back to work. Just because no cats are sick doesn't mean I can just laze around." He nudged him to leave. Nightflame turned and walked into his den.

Nightflame nodded. "What else can you use for rat bites. I'll give you a hint. It's not that common around here." He asked the apprentice.

Nightflame nodded. "Right." He looked up noticing how it was starting to get late. "I'm going to go look for some more...herbs...Forest herbs to be exact." Nightflames tail flicked. "Living far up on a mountain, makes it difficult to find lots of herbs. So I may be back late. Stay here and take care of everyone." He looked to Radiantlife. "If Radiantlife's wound gets worse, what should you do?" He asked Twistedpaw.

Nightflame shook his head. "We're not trying to heal bones or reduce itching." He chuckled. "You would use snake root. Chew it to a poultice and apply on her bite. It should help if the poison does any damage." Nightflame heard Cloudstar. "Okay I'll leave soon." He turned and froze in hr gaze. He felt kind of guilty but hadn't done anything. He wasn't even sure what he felt towards the she-cat. He looked back to Twistedpaw. "I'll be going now. I'm sure you can handle everything." He tuned and left camp.

((I don't mind. But it seems like Cloudstar does. xD ))

Nightflame kept walking. Once he was far enough he broke out into a run. The forest was far from the camp, and a ways off the territory. He got into the forest and started searching for the cave that Lilly said she'd be in. On the way walking around he found a dock bush. He gently chewed off a leaf and continued his search.

Echowish looked at Cloversphere and Twinklepine. She looked back to lightningtail. She thought maybe one day she would tell him. She shook the thought out and sat down, and licked her paw and swiped it over her ear.
