Ryn kept looking behind him hoping that Kai would reappear. "Sorry for asking this but...do you think he's going to be okay by himself?" Ryn then put his right hand behind his head, as he often does when he feels awkward "I mean I can barely make it myself and I'm 18." he added jokingly while flashing a smile to show that his intentions weren't to offend Hana.

"So.." Ryn started while trying not to be rude. "do you think we should get him and then he could join us on the tour?" he asked.

Ryn nodded at Hana. "Any idea where he may have gone?"he asked hoping she would know.

Ryn jerked his head towards the sound of a child yelling and began to run towards that direction without saying a word to Hana. He reached an ally and he looked down it and could not believe what he was seeing...

Ooc: Done

Ic: "I'm coming!" Ryn shouted to Kai. Ryn began to use his air bending to redirect the smoke into a different direction. Once this was accomplished he formed a shield of air around him so that he could get through the fire with being hurt. "Are you able to walk through?" Ryn asked the boy once once he had reached him.

Ryn nodded at Kai. "Let me know if you need me to slow down." Ryn said as he increased the size of the air shield to accommodate for Kai. He then began to slowly exit the burning ally.

Ryn grew quiet for a few seconds then spoke. "Kai.....how old are you exactly?" He asked while almost knowing what the young boy was going to say.

Ooc: Sorry my internet went out this weekend due to a big storm...SO SORRY

Ic: Ryn was almost speechless "An-and you can earthbend?" The piceces were starting to come together. Could he really be...

Ryn couldn't believe it. "Kai...when I got here I saw you with the fire on you but it wasn't burning you.." Ryn stopped for a second and thought before he spoke again. "...It was more like you had some type of control over it."

Ryn shook his head. "You mother being a firebender wouldn't stop you from being burned. You may not have had much control over the fire but you were feeding it and making it grow." Ryn look frustrated as if he didn't even believe what he was saying. "There is no other explanation...." Am I seriously saying this?"You were firebending..."

Ryn looked to Hana. "What are you hiding?" he asked becoming increasingly curious.

Ryn ran after Kai and then grabbed him by the arm. "Kai why are you running?" Ryn then got down on one knee so that his height was almost equal with the young avatar. "Running is only going to make things worse.." Ryn let out a sigh. "Believe me." Ryn then stood up and spoke "I know where we should go."

"You're still young and have plenty of time to learn Kai." Ryn then looked up at they sky taking note of how late it was. "We need to go to Air Temple Island. The air nomads are very spiritual people and so would be able to help you as the avatar. I don't think there is anyway to get there tonight though due to how late it is." he confessed.

Ryn then pulled an object out of his pocket that was about the size of a pen. "I'll go over to Air Temple Island and give them a heads up." Ryn then pressed a button on the pen-like object and the object extended to a staff. "I'll meet you two here in the morning." he said right as the pole extended on the sides to form a glider. (It was a new but fairly common item created for airbenders so that they could have their glider without having to always carry a staff around) Ryn then took off into the night sky and headed back to the island he just worked so hard to get away from. Just my luck to be dragged back here. he thought as Air Temple Island got closer and closer to him.

Ooc: Time skip is fine. Also there are more airbenders then just Aang's decedents due to what Korra did in book 2...maybe 3? To make a long story short she combined the spirit world and the physical world which resulted in many new airbenders! (One was Toph's granddaughter) Although I do like the idea of Ryn being a decedent of Aang Sorry for all that just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page :P

Ic: Ryn was flying back to the spot he had left Hana and Kai the night before. As he got closer the figure of two people became viable.

Ooc: Ahh okay and sorry if for spoiling that then

In: Ryn landed with a gust of wind. "I can see that." He said to Hana with a smirk as his glider began to shrink so that he could put it in his pocket. Ryn then turned to Kai "The airnomads are expecting you and transportation is on it's way now."

At the moment a boat pulled up to the dock. Ryn then said with all the dramatics he could muster "Your ride awaits young Avatar." he finished with a bow while chuckling.

Ryn looked up at the young boy and continued to speak dramatically. "As you wish! After you Avatar Kai." he finished and motioned towards the boat.

Ryn got the boat, dropped his dramatic act then spoke. "Believe it or not I am. I'm the great grandson of Avatar Aang." He let a sigh. "And the bigges...." he stopped then looked at Kai. "Never mind it's not important!" he said jokingly.

Ryn lightly chuckled "In a way I guess." Ryn looked over the side of the boat at the water. "Were not related to blood by in a spiritual sense.." He looked at Kai with a smile "I guess we kind of are." The boat then came to a stop at the dock. "Welcome to Air Temple Island."
