  • Another Day With Glittery Jello (Short Stories)

    [align=center][font=Times New Roman][color=white]Hay dere! So, yes, I decided to write a short story. This is not a serious story. Crazy, yes. Maybe you'll like it? I'll add more stories whenever possible. Read and comment, and critique is appreciated. :)


    [color=#707AAD][size=32pt]Another Day With Glittery Jello[/size]


    Rainbows fell from the sky as a young serval slunk through tall, lime green grass. Her blue eyes sparkled and her golden fur, with a pink tint, shone under the bright sun. A tiny purple creature blended in with a pile of flavored sugar as she slunk by. The creature, with a flowing indigo mane, stood completely still. The serval didn't notice him, that was until a rainbow plopped onto the tiny unicorn's head. "Pineapple!" he yelped, rainbow flooding into his mouth. "Yuck! This doesn't taste like Skittles at all!"


    The serval spun around. "Jiggles!" She pranced over to him. "How many times have I told you not to chew on the rainbows!" Jiggles spat out some rainbow. "Too many times! It's not my fault they love me like Golpher loves peanut butter." More rainbows dripped from Jiggles's mouth as he started glowing yellow. Soon the light became blinding, as if the sun were right there. Then, as quickly as it had happened, the light stopped shining and a full sized unicorn stood in the bright, grassy field. "But rainbow looks good on you." said the serval in her smooth voice. "You're like a beautiful plushie covered in rainbowful sweet gumdrops!" Jiggles rolled his eyes.


    "Well, that was fun, Trumpet." Trumpet smiled, and her glossy pelt seemed to shine more. "Let's go find the others. " said Jiggles, taking a step forward. But instead of his hoof landing on solid ground, the purple unicorn started floating. "Help!" he yelped with alarm. He continued drifting higher and soon he found himself upside down. Trumpet thought he looked rather funny, startled with mane dangling below him, and she couldn't help laughing like a maniac. "Help!" cried Jiggles again, but Trumpet simply continued laughing. "Yoohoo! Mad scientist down there! When I got back down, you're gonna get it..."


    A large, neon blue figure suddenly burst through the fluffy red bushes next to Trumpet, skidding on play dough ice cream. The hippo's green eyes looked up to the pastel orange sky to see Jiggles continue to float upwards. "Jiggles! You're doin' it! I told ya you could fly, if ya just believed hard enough!" "Get me down!" came Jiggles's faint reply, more exasperated than scared now. "You'll get down eventually! Have fun!" The hippo watched Jiggles admiringly as he disappeared in a cloud of cotton balls.


    "Ow! My sides!" Trumpet finally managed to stop laughing and sat up. "Howdy, Golpher!" "Huwwo. You gots any peanut butter?" Trumpet shook her head, and Golpher looked disappointed. "Maybe there's some over by Bubble Gum." said the bewitching serval, pointing her suddenly long and stretchy tail at a white unicorn. "Okay." The two started over to Bubble Gum, Golpher glancing around for peanut butter on the way. They were almost there when a large griffin darted in out of nowhere, a colorful sock monkey on his back.


    "HELLO!" yelled the sock monkey. "GOT ANY SPARE BANANAS?!" Both Trumpet and Golpher looked alarmed. "Um, no, sorry. Khaki!" replied Trumpet. "Gots any peanut butter?" asked Golpher. "NOPE." The griffin pranced towards Bubble Gum with the sock monkey. "Tennis shoes." groaned Trumpet as they crawled over some ferrets and various candy bars on the way over. Finally, they reached the unicorn.


    Rainbows were laying in pools all around him, and more drained from his mouth. "Vines! Bubble Gum! You know eating rainbows makes you sick!" The shaky unicorn turned to them, holding back more rainbows. "But I was hungry, and they were just right there, and they're always falling..." "ARROWS!" shouted the sock monkey. Golpher grumbled. "Stop eating them." Trumpet said before turning to the griffin and sock monkey. "IT'S TEA TIME!" The sock monkey splashed tea in Trumpet's face. Trumpet growled and pushed them down into a pit.


    The two landed in cherry jello with a plop. "HFUKBRU!" "Well, that takes care of that." said Trumpet. "Hey, a peanut butter tree! Let's go!" exclaimed Golpher, and the three began dancing over to a peanut butter tree, growing in the midst lf some pizza plants. Top hats started raining down on another normal day.
    Something purple streaked down with the top hats.
    Jiggles crashed into the jello.
    "Soda cans..."

    "Crunchy munches!" A neon blue hippo used a long, pink tongue to lick peanut butter off of his face. Trumpet, a serval with a glossy, golden pelt giggled. The pink tint in her fur shone brightly under the warm sun as she lay next to three others. "What a great slob." mumbled Jiggles the purple unicorn. "I wish I had some rainbows right now. And I wish they didn't make me sick." said the other male unicorn, pure white with a silvery mane. Trumpet's bright green eyes looked down from the pale orange sky and cyan sun. "Well, Bubble Gum, what if I could make it so you could eat them?" inquired Trumpet. "Oh! I'd give all my socks! They're really not that comfortable. Besides, why would a unicorn need socks?"


    Golpher, the blinding blue hippo, smiled. "I love socks! They're so warm and comfy!" All of a sudden there were large wool socks on all of his four feet. "Toasty!" "Here!" Bubble Gum started throwing out his socks, which came from nowhere. Polka dots, stripes, sheep, ice cream, and more socks with different designs flew everywhere. "Seriously?" said Jiggles. A Hello Kitty sock fell on his face. Trumpet giggled and watched as a magenta sock stood up by itself and flew off. "Sorry, but I can't really make rainbows edible for you!" Bubble Gum frowned and stopped. "Fairies." Golpher looked at the unicorns. "Aren't unicorns magiiiicaaaal?"


    Jiggles sighed. "Yes, every unicorn has their own special power..." Bubble Gum nodded. "I can spawn a bunch of bubble gum stuff and stuff." His silver horn began glowing gold, and pink bubbles and gumballs and sticks lf gum fell from it. "Cool!" said Trumpet. Then a thick, sticky, pink liquid flowed out. "Ah, crumpets!" The liquid stopped flowing. "Well chewed gum. This'll take forever to get out of my fur. Oi!" yelped Bubble Gum as Golpher rolled over and used his mouth to get off all of the gum, then chewed noisily. "So-" Smack. "Jiggles-" Nom. "What's your-" Chew. "Power?" Pop. "Uh..." Jiggles sighed and his horn began throbbing with indigo light until a small yellow glob of goo plopped into the grass. "What is that?" "A BouncerJelly..." The yellow glob took on the shape of a cube. It looked like jello.


    "Interesting..." said Trumpet. "Yeah..." "WATERMELON!" Everybody jumped. Great, that maniac sock monkey was back with his griffin. "Good day." said Bubble Gum. "Now let's RUN!" Two unicorns, a serval, and a hippo dashed across the field of lime grass until they came to a rock. They skidded to a halt, but the sock monkey and griffin smashed right into it. They were flattened like pancakes now. Suddenly, the rock began getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and [size=32pt]bigger[/size]. It towered above them, and cold blue eyes opened on the rock. Jiggles screamed like a girl, and Trumpet and Golpher laughed. "What's with all the kerfuffle?" roared the tremendous rock. "I COULD USE SOME NEW PANT-" The rock sat back on the griffin and monkey, and they were flattened even more.


    "I'm Bubble Gum, and these are Jiggles, Trumpet, and Golpher." said Bubble Gum bravely, despite the fact that he was shaking so hard he could be in an earthquake. "Hello." The rock got smaller, and smaller, and [size=3pt]smaller[/size], and [size=1pt]smaller[/size] until he was the size of Golpher. "I'm Toilet, nice to meet you." Trumpet and Golpher burst out laughing, so loudly you could've heard it from the moon. Jiggles shot them a glare. "..Or you can call me John." The two continued laughing. "Nice meeting you, excuse these two." said Jiggles. Toilet nodded. "It's okay, I get that a lot..."


    A loud rumbling came from Toilet. "Tummy need food. And when tummy need food, tummy get upset. And when tummy upset, tummy need food, like underwear. But when tummy stay upset, TSUNAMI!" Large cracks appeared all over Toilet. "Let's get out of here!" Jiggles, Bubble Gum, Trumpet, and Golpher began running as the rumbling grew louder. "KILO!" Toilet burst apart, and a huge wave of dark, salty water rose over the field. "Bumble bees!" The wave crashed over the creatures, and everything went black.


    Jiggles forced his eyes open. Nyan Cat shot all around him, laughing evilly. "Aw, man. I didn't want to die, but even if I were to, I wouldn't want it to be from pop tart cats." The rainbows closed in on Jiggles until they were all he could see. The place stank, wherever it was.
    "Grab on to Hummus!" came a squeaky voice through the laughter and farts. "Huh?" "Jiggles!" called a familliar voice. "Grab on to Hummus!" repeated the other voice. "Ugh..." Jiggles opened his eyes for real to see dark waves crashing around him. Then he looked to his side to see a giant yellow rubber ducky, his friends on top of it. "Grab on to Hummus!" repeated Hummus, the duck. Before he knew it, he was on the duck's wet, slick back with the others.


    "We're all alive!" cheered Trumpet. "I'm never going near another rock again, not even if there's rainbows." said Bubble Gum. "Or peanut butter." added Golpher. "Well, maybe." They rode over the crashing waves, which were now red, white, and pink, until they came across an island. But it wasn't an island. It was a ginormous bowling ball. The four jumped off onto it, while Hummus continued riding the waves. "Hummus will see you later! Hummus says bye-bye!" "Good-bye!" replied the others as the rubber ducky began disappearing in the dark orange horizon.


    Trumpet looked around the bowling ball. "Astronomy!" She trotted over to the holes in the heavy black ball, then disappeared. "Erm..." Bubble Gum, Golpher, and Jiggles walked over to where she had disappeared. "Oh..." Golpher jumped onto the swirly slide, made of pencils, and slid down, his other two companions not far behind. At the bottom of the ride, complete with fire and confetti, was a very nice room. The bowling ball was even bigger on the inside than on the outside. There were four bedrooms and a bathroom, which was pretty convenient. "Nice! Looks like we got us a place!" said Bubble Gum. "Too bad there aren't any rainbows." "Or peanut butter." Popcorn came exploding out of a closet.
    "Food!"
    "Ooh, peanut butter!"
    "What a day."
    "Rather normal, don't you think?"
