  • well, in two years time.. {I'M HOME}

    [size=8][font=georgia]it's funny how when i first joined this site way back in february 2011, i had no idea how much this site would impact my life in the slightest way. in fact, i had no doubt in my mind that the day i joined would be the last day i ever even thought about this website.


    and after a long time of growing up and maturing over drama that i caused on my very own here, i'm ready to come back with an open mind and light-hearted. :)


    so, yes. if you don't know who i am, i was an a-mod awhile back (summer 2011?) and i left december of 2011. it's been almost a whole year of inactivity - oh man. if that doesn't trigger your memory, i used to play thunderclan's medicine cat, legendseeker. :)


    can someone give me a quick fill-in on what happened with the staff? i know about dots stepping down, i have her added on facebook; and i'm not sure about nuka. i'm sure glad to see that frosty was still an admin when i got my welcome e-mail! (yeah, i remade my account. wanted to start fresh. c:)

    Things that have changed in staff, we no longer have a-mods, they're now called mods and moderators are now called Sr. Mods BUT they don't have access to the Staff Room. Advisors are old G-Mods and they do have access to the staff room to help make decisions and such but they can't handle reports.


    As for CAs, they're gone now that Advanced Bios are auto approved ^^

    since i left, i've been moderating minecraft servers and from what i've seen, none of them ever had any assistant mods! i thought that was pretty strange, considering that this is where i spent the majority of my time learning how to be a good moderator and stuff. c:

    Whoa, Dawny became admin in the amount of time I was gone? I think she was a member when I joined, and a member when I left again. c: That's pretty cool!

    As far as my roleplaying, I'm not sure how I'm going to go about with that just yet. I think I might stick to one or two characters, and I'm not sure how many people left that I generally roleplayed left are still here - but I'll definitely hop into that sooner or later. As of now, maybe I'll just stick around the general boards and catch up on how everyone's been doing! c: Glad to be back.

    I've been pretty good. As I said I came back a couple weeks ago; I originally only planned to say hi but now I'm staying. I'm working on starting from scratch, so I'm writing up some new characters now.


    It.. has fanpages where people roleplay. It's very messy and cluttered, 2/10 would not recommend. I didn't even think about hopping into it, that's why I came back here! <3 I think I'm going to start from scratch, too, aside from Legendseeker. I can't give her up because I worked way too hard on her, I've decided. c:

    Same about the Facebook roleplaying thing, roleplaying on Facebook is probably not a high sign that you'll get a good path in creative writing. I don't know if I have anything positive to say on the.. Facebook roleplaying community.

    I thought about bringing back a couple of my favorite characters, but now I want to focus on advanced writing: development and depth of characters and plots. My earlier characters are sadly not up to par with this high bar I'm setting for myself, so they go into TrashClan and I'm starting anew. xD


    Oh, gosh. I think Legendseeker is when I started putting myself up with the "Hey, I can't just start out a character and give it a history that I just thought up on the fly. I want to start roleplaying through the history, developing a cool character instead of just having a Psuedo-cool character." c:

    That's something I'm hoping to stray from - planning out my entire characters life with plots. I don't think I've done that since the day I joined WCRPG with Stormpaw. (Stormy, Stormpaw. How creative!)

    [size=8]Home? The thought pricked the she-cat's mind as she stepped onto the snowy ground heading into the wooded area. The scent - albeit dead because of the harsh winter air - was familiar, and it was all she could hope for. Legendseeker was known to disappear and go missing, and after being demoted she hadn't been able to handle staying in ThunderClan.


    However, the she-cat found her impromptu return to be necessary - not only did she miss her home, but she missed the way that the stars shone above the camp at night. Cold and dead in the leafbare season, but warm and welcoming as the leaves returned to the trees and the days warmed up, making hunting prosperous. She was homesick for a home she had grown to despise.


    The she-cat's paranoia was very high at a moment like this -- would she be welcomed back? Would she be shunned for leaving them in the first place? Surely they wouldn't blame her for running away from the guilt that consumed her, washing over her mind in waves - gentle, and then drowning her.


    Her eyes were gaunt, her pawsteps light. She had finally begun to deteriorate on the outside as well.
