Aww thanks :) I'll take a few of your categories and give you more. Yours is quite handsome as well.
Talents: singing, dancing (especially ballroom), playing the harpsichord.
Strengths: she's very good at keeping her head in a crisis and keeps her eye on what's important. She's also good at negotiation and being diplomatic.
Weaknesses: she's terrified of failure and of letting anyone see her break. She will force herself to put up a calm, strong front until she snaps completely.
Detailed description: Erica was raised to be a lady and be quiet and composed at all times. She's gentle and mannered, but cold if you get her angry. If she's not working on political issues or studying, she can often be found practicing musical skills. However, she doesn't often perform. She likes talking to people and can analyze them pretty well. She's good with children. -
Absolutely! I may be a bit slow on replies; it's Family Night. Just a warning. But I'm ready!

I don't mind mild swearing at all. If it's occasional, even heavier swearing is okay too. Violence is fine. As for romance, kissing is fine as well. Heavier kissing is okay as long as it doesn't go too far. Sex scenes are an absolute no. But yeah, those are basically my standards. So a moderate PG-13, if this were a movie. Thanks for asking :)

Erica gritted her teeth as her handmaid pulled the corset tight. It hurt, but she was used to it. Today was definitely not a day she could relax. That prince was coming from Tiekon, and she was going to work with him on an alliance while her parents dealt with the uprisings.
-
Erica descended the staircase, taking care not to trip over her long dress. She fixed Alex with a calm gaze. "Are you the Prince of Tiekon?"
-
"I am." she curtsied. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Prince Alex. Shall we get to work?"
-
"We have a room ready," Erica replied. "Follow me, please." She had noticed the guards' murmurs and Alex's reaction. The newer guards sometimes had etiquette problems. She shot them a stern look on her way out.
-
"I hear you're having problems with rebellion in your kingdom as well," Erica said as they walked. "Ours have joined with yours?"
-
"We have rebels too," Erica explained. "Is it true that the ones from Larinia have joined forces with the ones from Tiekon?"
OOC: Do I have the plot right? -
OOC: Okay good :)
"So we have the resources you need," Erica said. She thought for a moment. Would it be wise to tell him of Larinia's military weakness? The prince probably already knew, but if he didn't... well, she didn't quite trust him yet. Thankfully, she was saved from having to continue her response by their arrival at the conference room. "This is the room we will be using today to talk. If you need anything, we have simply to send for a servant." The guard outside the room wavered slightly from attention at the sight of Erica. Sometimes the way the guards looked at her made her uneasy. Keeping her composure, she opened the door to the room. -
Weapons for your lives. It was a strong choice of language. Erica was impressed. The prince clearly knew how to negotiate, and she respected that. "Yes, it is a fair trade. To protect both our kingdoms," she put a slight emphasis on "both". It needed to be clear that Tiekon was not simply doing Larinia a favor, that this was an agreement that was necessary for both lands. "What terms do you propose for this alliance?"
-
Erica hesitated for a split second, afraid of making a wrong decision. The kingdom is in your hands, her mother had said. I have complete faith in you. "Yes," she replied calmly. It felt so final. "I am willing to meet those terms. Our blacksmiths will build weapons for your army, and half your army will protect our kingdom. I'll have a contract drawn up." Erica noticed Alex's slight smirk and straightened. "And how can I be assured of your loyalty to the agreement?" she added.
-
Erica was surprised by his honesty. It seemed almost... vulnerable. She wanted to trust him. She wanted this alliance to work. Being addressed as "your majesty" was not something she was used to, either. She found herself softening a little. "Prince Alex," she said, "I do want this to work, and I do not wish to take back my agreement at this time." She realized they were still standing by the door. "Please come sit down so we can finish this discussion."
-
"Of course!" Erica tried hard not to sound too excited. She rarely got to make normal conversation with anyone besides her parents, and even then, she didn't often talk about herself for the sake of etiquette. "I don't mind answering your questions at all."
-
Erica tried not to be embarrassed by her outburst. "Well," she began, "I just turned twenty-one." Was she supposed to talk about her interests? Yes, that seemed normal enough. "I like... playing the harpsichord and ballroom dancing, and singing..." She already felt like she had talked about herself for too long. "Do you play any instruments?" she asked.
-
Erica smiled, a genuine smile, if somewhat suppressed. "Those are lovely instruments." Was he embarrassed about it? "Do you have other interests?" she continued, not wanting him to be uncomfortable.
-
"On the contrary, sir, I find you quite interesting. I've never learned much about battle tactics. Perhaps you could teach me a few things when we organize your soldiers. Is that why you've been sent as negotiator? Because you know strategy?" Erica hoped she wasn't going too far with the questions.
-
OOC: You can go to bed if you're tired! Don't feel obligated to keep replying. It's almost midnight here XD can I ask how late it is where you are?
IC: "No one's ever asked you to teach them?" Erica asked. "No curious little brothers, or...?" She was an only child, and had often wondered what it would be like to have siblings. -
OOC: Oh my gosh, me too! Mountain time USA!
IC: "Oh," Erica said softly. "I'm sorry." The conversation had taken a sad turn. She had no idea what to say, having no experience with that kind of grief. "Do you ever talk to the servants? My chambermaid and I have conversations all the time. Perhaps they didn't help you because they didn't notice you wanted it, or..." she trailed off, knowing she was probably saying everything wrong.
