If you'd like some free FeralFront memorabilia to look back on fondly, see this thread from Dynamo (if this message is still here, we still have memorabilia): https://feralfront.com/thread/2669184-free-feralfront-memorabilia/.

    The Iron Spider and portal are fine, as is Death's thing.

    Bear in mind I don't really have the time to constantly be checking this thread so if you could figure something out for when I'm unable to check this thread you wouldn't really get held back so much.

    The Iron Spider with Symbiote would basically be Tony's Godkiller suit or whatever it's called. The white one that ScrewAttack used to bullshit Tony to victory against Lex Luthor (without which Tony would have been ripped apart by Lex).

    Personality

    The Chosen Undead never speaks much, if at all. His goals are never clear, nor is his moral alignment. There are some worlds where he rekindles the fire of the world, and others where he snuffs it out forever, leaving the world a cold and even more hostile place than it already was.

    --------------------

    Abilities

    Undeath: True death does not actually happen with an Undead, however, if they "die" they become a Hollow. Hollows are barely capable of controlling themselves until they absorb a human soul, and they will consume undead souls by the hundreds attempting to regain humanity. If they "die" again they end up in a loop of "dying" and losing power, until they eventually become too weak to move. They are not as durable as the living, but they make up for this by having death function more as an obstacle than a real end. Reversing their Hollowing with a living soul makes them function as a human would, essentially.
    Soul Vessel: The Chosen Undead operates differently from most Undead. Where most immediately consume whatever souls they gain, the Chosen Undead can harbor them and focus them into specific areas of their power. As a Pyromancer, he tends to focus more in his intellect and faith than anything else.

    Skills

    Pyromancy: So long as he has the Pyromancy Flame equipped, the Chosen Undead is capable of casting various pyromancies, such as a standard fireball dealing moderate damage, imbuing his axe with fire temporarily, or producing a large wave of fire from his hand.
    Axeman: Unlike most mages, the Pyromancer is also proficient with physical weapons, not just magical ones. He prefers the hand axe over any other.

    Weapons
    [align=left]Hand Axe: A fairly standard one-handed axe, which has been improved fairly substantially with a forge.
    Pyromancy Flame: The source of a Pyromancer's ability to channel the embers of the world, this is the focus for all pyromancies. Pyromancy is not possible without it.
    Small Round Shield: A small shield, round in shape, forged from titanite steel. It is nearly indestructible and completely fireproof.

    Other
    If he does "die" and return as a Hollow, his position as leader will be relinquished by default.

    Well, I've not been here for about two years or so. Merry Christmas?

    Also, within the next few weeks I'll have been on the site for about seven years. Damn. Not on this account, though, this is my second account, this account will be four years old on January 10th.

    Wait, no, it's not been THAT long since I went on hiatus. No Man's Sky was just about to release when my hiatus started.

    Who am I kidding, though? It's likely I'll be on hiatus again within the next year at most.

    I dunno, the site's just not what it used to be, honestly.

    ||Name||
    Dastrix Kalam

    ||Gender||
    Male

    ||Age||
    50

    ||Nickname||
    Kalam

    ||Status||
    Wandering paladin in Death's service

    ||Powers||

    Fire Breath: Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. Kalam can breathe fire in the same way dragons can, though it's not true dragonfire. However, due to his affiliation with Death, the fire is doubly effective against those who are damned, including undead.
    Fire Immunity: Kalam is completely immune to fire, as well as any other source of heat damage.
    Death Strike: With a single blow, Kalam can instantly end the life of any that Death has damned.
    Detect Damned: Of course, Kalam is also capable of detecting whether someone is damned and destined to be claimed by Death.
    Aura of Fear: Kalam is immune to fear, and his very presence strikes fear into the hearts of his enemies as well as making others a bit nervous.
    Lay on Hands: Kalam is, like most paladins, able to heal the wounds of others by taking them on himself.
    Turn Undead: Also like most paladins, Kalam is able to force undead to flee from him, and in some cases he'll even turn them to ash with a bit of luck.
    Penance Stare: If someone is so greatly evil, their soul so blackened by sin, that not even Death wants them, Kalam can stare them down and force them to feel all misfortune they have caused in a single instant, and burn their soul completely.
    Clerical Affinity: Kalam is capable of utilizing some basic cleric-type spells, mainly in the form of minor healing spells (ones that don't wound him in the process).

    400 lbs

    ||Hair color||
    N/A

    ||Eye color||
    Kalam's eyes are a cold blue, with chilling flames issuing forth from them.

    ||Body Modifications||

    Glove of Fraakrash: A glove housing the spirit of one who attempted to ascend to the side of the gods, this glove is permanently bound to his right hand and cannot be removed unless Fraakrash decides to leave Kalam and seek another companion. Kalam can reach into the glove and seek counsel from Fraakrash if he so desires.

    ||Location of guild mark||
    N/A

    ||Accessories||

    Amulet of Bahamut: An artifact of an ancient god watching over the world that Kalam originated from, this amulet bolsters Kalam's hardiness, making him quite a bit harder to take down.

    ||Clothing Type||
    [align=left]Death Plate: Once a common suit of half plate, this pitch-black suit of spiked full plate is enchanted to resist fire and poison, as well as be weightless for a death paladin. There is also a slight aura about it that creates an intimidation factor, making his form even more imposing than it already is.
    Death's Shield: A gargantuan tower shield, also enchanted to be weightless for any death paladin that wields it. The shield is about seven feet tall and four feet wide.

    [hr]"You look like you might be quite the character I must say."

    ||Positive Traits||
    Unbreakable
    Loyal

    ||Negative Traits||
    Arrogant
    Stubborn

    ||Neutral Traits||

    ||Personality||
    Prior to becoming a Death Paladin, Kalam was idealistic, almost naive, even. He put too much faith into his order, and suffered for it. Upon discovering the corruption his order had befallen and being accused of a crime he did not commit, he was saved by a Champion of Death that owed him a favor. Upon becoming a Death Paladin, he became a quieter man, and colder, less emotional. Neutrality is chief among his traits, as he attempts to remain impartial to politics and other affairs of mortality. He exists only to serve the Raven Queen, Death herself.

    Likes; Peace, balance, loyalty, courage
    Dislikes; Cowards, undead

    Strengths;
    Kalam is highly intelligent, nearly genius level. He has extensive knowledge of lore within multiple worlds, as his service to the Raven Queen calls him to multiple spheres.
    Kalam is extremely powerful physically, able to lift up to 700 pounds with minimal effort, and push 1750 pounds of weight.
    Kalam is also extremely charismatic, as is typical of paladins. Despite his frightful appearance, or perhaps even because of it, people naturally tend to take his side more often and listen to him. However, his greatest strength is in his ability to intimidate. Using his great size and extreme charisma he can scare almost anyone into listening to him.
    His constitution is also quite high, with his scales granting him a natural armor that can aid in stopping attacks that do get through his armor, as well as a decent pain tolerance.
    Weaknesses;
    While wiser than most, his wisdom is rather lacking compared to his other abilities, causing him to not be as perceptive as he could be.
    Kalam is really not all that dexterous, mainly due to his bulk and the armor he wears. He has trouble twisting and turning out of the way of attacks, and cannot maneuver through small spaces very well.

    [hr][size=8]

    ||Pets and/or Guides||
    Closest thing to a guide he has is Fraakrash

    ||Weapons||
    [align=left]Aecris the Awakened: An artifact weapon recovered from the Keep on the Shadowfell, it was not fully awakened when he first received it from the Keep's undead guardian. Upon becoming a Death Paladin, the blade fully awakened and attained its true form. It is a black blade with cold blue gems embedded in its crossguard, and has a distinctly chilling aura about it. The blade is doubly effective against damned souls as well as undead, as Death despises undeath in all forms.
    Silver Longsword: In the world that Kalam originates from, monsters vulnerable to silver roam the land. As such, he kept a longsword made of silver on his person.
    Light Crossbow: Kalam also keeps a light crossbow on him, loaded with bolts tipped with silver.

    ||Theme Songs||

    ||Faceclaim||
    None

    ||Other/FunFacts||
    Kalam does not actually originate from this dimension. He came from another and ended up in the service of Death, called the Raven Queen there, and was brought to this one by his master to enforce its will.

    I realize he seems to have not a lot of weaknesses balancing out his strengths, but I based the strengths and weaknesses on his actual ability scores from the D&D campaign he comes from, and I got very lucky with the rolls for his abilities.

    Strength was 19, Dexterity was 11, Constitution was 15, Intelligence was 16, Wisdom was 14, and Charisma was 19.

    [hr]"This should be quite fun indeed...
    [hr]

    I used to post one-liners all over the place and post for no reason at all, and it was so cheesy. Now I rarely do less than two or three lines, and I usually get eight sentences or so in each post.

    I tend to only use one character, two at most, so I can better focus on developing my character(s). I've found that when I exceed two my writing quality suffers, since I never have a huge amount of muse anyway. So I tend to focus my muse on one or two characters and never join more than a couple RPs at a time.

    Also I'll try to finish Kalam today. Keyword there is try, depends on how slow it is at work today.

    I've read over Milo's form and he's most definitely accepted! He turned out great, by the way. I'll add him to the main post shortly, but feel free to hop in on the plotting thread or the roleplay which are also linked on the main post.

    There's no need to rush Kalamadea, but Kalam looks like he's coming along great. He'll be pretty interesting to incorporate into the thread. Just bump me when you do get the chance to finish.

    Everyone is hiding characters and mini plots oh my gosh.

    Heh, I'm pretty much just slapping an old D&D character of mine in so there's a lot to put in one form. But thanks, I'd still like to get it done as soon as possible so I don't forget completely, as I've done on a few occassions before. I'll get the bulk info done and then fine tune it over time to get the details in, mostly his backstory.
