Daniel took out a slightly dented copper-mix pan. His strode over to the small pantry in the tea kitchen. He quickly counted the bottles of olive oil and cases of flour. He would need to go out to the mill to have enough to make enough Cruste Rolle for the gala. Cruste Rolle was a mideval dish similar to fried crackers or home style chips. It was served as a predinner food, almost like breadsticks. Daniel took out the ingredients to make a smaller batch. He figured it would be a good idea to test it and perhaps flavour it to the princesses likings. In a few minutes the savory scent of Cruste Rolle filled the hallways. He set the crackers on a grated bit of metal to cool and drain off.

Derek nimbly topped off her wine glass, with the ease of a waiter. He handed it to her before reaching for him own. "We leave for Costa Rico tommorow morning. They planned on spending a week honeymooning on the beach.

"Of Course m'lady" Daniel replied, checking to see if they had cooled yet. Seeing that they had he quickly added some spices and a very light coating of olive oil. They were better a bit greasier but it was rather unladylike to cover your hands in oil. So for the galas the Cruste Rolle was made lighter with less oil. Scarlett had always seemed the least proper and was often in the kitchen for snacks rather than having tea with her sisters. Daniel nimbly tossed the chips into a small wooden bowl and shook it lightly to spread the seasonings. Then he held it out, offering the bowl to Scarlett.

"Really? Thanks" Daniel replied, the stiff formality that usually plagued his mannerisms fading. He gave her a relaxed smile, forgetting for a moment that a word from her could have him fired or even killed. "Do you have any foods you'd like for the gala?" He asked her. Daniel was far from head chef but he was a good cook and his bosses usually let him do his own thing so long as the princesses' tea was served on time and to thier liking. That was Daniels main responsibility on the manor. Daniel jumped slightly when he heard Rose-Jasmine. The strict and quiet vibe that he usually gave off returned. Daniel stood up a bit straighter, the warmth draining from his brilliantly blue eyes. It wasn't that he had anything against Rose-Jasmine but he sudden entry and questions had frightened him a bit. And small scare was enough to remind him not to get too relaxed around the royal family.

I didn't see… was I accepted or was leaf paw or both? Sorry.

Griffith slowly walked to science class. He liked science but it was a beautiful day and he wished he was outside. He had social drudge next period. Chelsea was funny and she would make a good partner. Plus she's cute he thought, shaking his head slightly.

"I'm Daniel, m'lady" Daniel replied to Rose-Jasmine. "My hands are greasy" he muttered, as an explanation for not shaking her hand. "And of course I'll make you Marzipan for the gala" he answered, turning his head back towards Scarlett. Then he grabbed the wooden bowl of crisps off the counter and offered it to Rose-Jasmine. "You'd like to try them? It's Cruste Rolle with powder forte light drizzle of sweet olive oil from up in Tunsia" he explained, trying not to ramble.

Ardus glanced at fatal-attraction, his blue eyes cold and calculating. He could tell that she wouldn't be one that he could lie to and seduce. That made him slightly uneasy. He liked to feel powerful. With the kittypet he knew he could seduce or, in worst case, defeat. He didn't like her circling him. "Keep walking directly into thorn bushes and you'll scare everything within a mile away." He snapped back at her.
