Mist sat outside of Speedtail's den while she daydreamed about him. He was so handsome, so flawless. And she knew, she knew that she fallen in love with Speedtail. Is it a good thing? Or is it a mistakes? She wondered to herself.

Mystic was watching the rather odd tom all along. The silver tabby showed no sign of amusement; there was no flick of her tail or a twitch of her whiskers. Mystic hated other cats who come anywhere near her home. Her claws instinctively unsheathed, though she was no fighter. Narrowing her eyes, she took a small step forward, small enough so that she does not make a sound that might reveal herself. Instead, Mystic continued to watched the tom through narrowed eyes, preparing to defend her home if she must.

Mist turned to Speedtail, nodding. "Alright...where to?"

Just a suggestion, it would help loads if there was a join form or something. It makes signing up easier.

Mist nodded, trotting behind Speedtail.

Mist had been there all this time, observing the tom. As she saw him turn invisible, she couldn't help but let out a small frightened squeak like a kit. She had never seen a cat as unusual as that one before her eyes. Stumbling back, she tripped over a rock and fell, revealing herself to Cheshire.

Meanwhile, Shimmerpelt sat near the corner of the camp, watching Snowstripe and Polarswipe with much envy in her eyes.

Mist felt a shiver ran across her spine. This place...well, it just doesn't feel right to her. But she continued to follow behind Speedtail and spoke not a word.

Yes, this is my first time on this site ever to start a real epic plot!

Now, before we get on to the plot and the juicy stuff, we need to know a bit about our main character, Aurora.. You see, the thing about Aurora is that she is a mermaid, but spends exactly half of her life time on land as a human. Every month, during new moon, she comes out of the water and turns into a human, spends the month as one, but during the next new moon, she has to get to a watery area for her transformation before it's too late. Because of Aurora's strange disappearances every other month, she has to constantly change schools to prevent any suspicion/questions about it.

The transformation between mermaid to human (or vice versa) takes about one hour. This cycle has been repeating for every month for the last 160 years of her life. But even though Aurora is 160 years old in human years, she appears to look around 16, due to the fact that mermaids age 10 times slower than humans do.

But while Aurora spends her time as a human, she cannot get water or any type liquid substance on her legs, or else she will turn back into a mermaid. She has only a while before that unlucky transformation takes place.

Now..the part we've been waiting for...

The whole story will start off with Aurora laying on an abandoned beach at night, going through her painful transformation from mermaid to human. But meanwhile, she was spotted by a middle-aged man who happened to pass by the beach. Aurora had no knowledge of this until much later on... The man took a video of her transformation (which is awkward because Aurora has no clothes on during the transformation). So anyway, he showed this to a fellow friend of his who was a mad, evil scientist. Then, they developed a plan: to capture this mermaid and sell her off to the public and make millions..or even billions of dollars. [glow=red,2,300]Meanwhile...[/glow] Aurora put on some clothes and rented a small cheap apartment room near the high school she was enrolling in just for the month. The next day, Aurora met a handsome senior boy at her school. They chatted for a while and became friends. A half a moon later, the guy (let's call him John for the time being...) asked her out and reluctantly, she agreed to be his girlfriend. But there was this popular cheerleader who was jealous of her and wanted to ruin their relationship and be with John. So she tried everything to harm her. Another 2 weeks passed and Aurora has to 'disappear' for a month. Aurora told John about this and her excuse was she had to see/visit a family member and promised to be back in a month.

This is all how it's supposed to begin, but the ending is in the hands of you, the role-players.

So before I pick the role-players and start making the thread, I want to hear your opinions about the plot and all (and any changes to the plot beginning that would make it better). So yeah! ^.^ Post away!
