ooc: woah woah WOAH recap please??

Tari was sitting on the roof banister, humming a small tune and rubbing her thumb against her father's amulet
Convel watches her with large brown eyes

Tari walks up to the edge of the hill, "Hey!" she calls to Maddy and Jordan

History: practically the same as Tari's, they've been fighting ever since they became defender and one of the way, and they used to travel together after their parents abandonded them

Jin looked around, a hood covering his face, 'so many kids' he thinks, and watches as everyone fusses over a smoke bomb. He rolls his eyes and slips farther into the shadows of the corner, where he liked it.

ic: Tari gets off the banister, "Time to find our dorm, Convel" she says
Convel gets up and stretches, "I know, i can read"

Tari and Jin walked side by side along a worn path in the woods,
"Where are we supposed to meet again?" Tari asks, folding her hands behind her head,
"At a willow." Jin replies almost immediatly, and they walked into the clearing. Both siblings stopped and looked around,
"Oh..." tari whispers
"So many of us..." Jin mutters

ic: Tari gives another last blast of fire (which is pretty big, 40 feet in either direction of the alley and 30 feet in the air) and collapses, clutching her amulet

Jin glances at the group, pulling some bread from his cloak and nibbling on it, who needs a bracelet of invisibility when you can just be stealthy?

Tari was unconscious at this point, but her knuckles went white from clutching the amulets strings so tight

Tari and Jin watch everything unfold,
"Get behind me!" Jin says sternly, stepping in front of Tari, and she shoves him,
"I don't need you to protect me!" she yells at him

Tari curls up on her bed with Convel curled up at her feet,
"Are you excited?" Convel asks Tari quietly,
"Why would i be excited? There's no way i could fit in, i never do." Tari whispers back

Tari looks around for a moment, then puts the amulet on, the strange symbols along the outside were in a different language, and it was plain silver, but it was her most valuable, and only, possession

Amulet:

Jin watched the group of kids, sitting back against the rocks behind him and closing his eyes

Tari's eyes snapped open, and she lunges at Mya, fire dancing on her fingertips

Tari stands awckwardly among the group of Defenders, this was her first meeting and she didn't know anyone.

Jin watches his sister, sensing her unease, and wished he could comfort her, but she was so hard-headed and a real pain sometimes. He stood near the back of the group, keeping an eye on Bell
