[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The cinnamon mink she-cat lay near the freshkill pile, a content smile on her narrow face. Claws digging into the dirt floor, she purred as she sniffed the dead mouse before her, licking her lips. It had begun snowing in the early morning hours, but at some points it was no more than a flurry. Glancing towards the other side of the camp, she noticed the she-cat sitting there, playing around in the snow. Pushing the mouse to her side, she stood up on four lean legs and padded over towards her. "Hello, Whitedove. Enjoying the snow?" Rosenose asked, sitting down beside her.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Rosenose was out on a patrol for the day. It was the late morning, or at least she thought it was. She'd awoken when everyone else was already up, and had to go for a border patrol because she missed hunting with her fellow clan-mates. Taking a whiff of the air, she noticed a scent that hadn't been there when she first arrived.
It was a cat. Turning around, she looked in every direction, noticing no sign of a cat being in the area. She shook the scent off, trying to remember what she was doing before the odd smell had come up. It was then that she noticed the high grasses moving to her left -- and it wasn't from the breeze. "Who's there?" she called out towards the area to the east, eyes narrowed in concentration.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Rosenose stepped closer towards the high grass and bushes, where the scent of a cat became stronger. "I can smell you there. Just come out already so I can leave," she hissed, crouching down. She wouldn't let another cat from another clan come into ThunderClan territory and let them leave without a scratch or punishment.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Maybe, though I think a thread would be better first to see how they interact C:
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Squealing, Rosenose attempted to hit the snow out of the way, but she only managed to make the little ball explode in her face. She narrowed her eyes playfully at the other warrior. "That wasn't funny," she chuckled, scraping up a bit of snow from the ground. Once she had a nice little sphere of snow, she batted it at the tom-cat. "Think fast," she muttered, a mischievous smile on her face.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Nodding at the other she-cat, Rosenose scraped her lengthy claws through the vibrant snow, feeling the cold sweep into the pads of her paws. "I like the colder weather, but sometimes I wish that getting sick from it didn't exist," she answered, watching as the snow landed on Whitedove. Of course, Rosenose had experienced the chills in the past days, and it was slowly turning her skin a pale blue hue. "You might want to dry off when it's done snowing. I got sick from letting the snow soak into my fur," she explained, a small smile on her maw.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Noticing the blur of grey out of the corner of her eyes, she snapped her head to her right and glared at the unknown loner. "You. What are you doing here?" she asked in her most convincing assertive voice. She wasn't usually one to lash out on others, but she knew her own safety was at risk with more than one unknown cat around her. She needed to be quick-witted and use logic to figure out what to do in this situation. "You're in ThunderClan territory, and I refuse to let you go any farther," she mewed. Her true self started to come out, and she felt a pang of sympathy for the cat. What would she do if she wandered off into enemy territory and was caught?
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The other she-cat went unnoticed by Rosenose, and she continued to press her nose against the hard surface, wondering how much pressure it would take for the ice to crack. She experimentally placed her two front paws onto the ice, putting all of her weight on her back paws. She didn't want to take the risk of falling into the river. Being a ThunderClan cat, it wasn't her natural instinct to swim, so if she fell in she'd most likely drown or die of hypothermia in the cold weather. Rosenose gently put slight pressure on the ice, and watched as nothing happened. She was a small cat as it was, so maybe the sheet of ice could hold her wight.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The idea of going hunting sounded nice. She'd been doing many hunting patrols for the past days, so that they were able to feed the queens, their kits and the elders. Few had actually died this leafbare season, which surprised the cinnamon mink. It was her first leafbare as a warrior, and she'd spent most of it trying to help the rest of her clan. Rosenose couldn't even remember the last fulfilling meal she'd had. "I'd like that. With the leafbare hitting the forest hard, we haven't had much food," said, nodding.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Rosenose brushed off the snow leopard's little comment, shaking her head. She was sure that there were mice out during the leafbare. There was just less of them than usual. "The forest doesn't have many other rodents roaming around. We won't find any birds either; they headed south for the leafbare. So we might as well stick to eating mice and maybe even a plump rat. I haven't had a fulfilling meal in ages," she said, exaggerating a bit. Glancing towards the main entrance to the camp, she thought of something. "We could always go to the sunningrocks and try to find snakes?" she suggested with a shrug.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The enthusiasm of the other cat made Rosenose flinch. It was at times like this where her awkwardness would appear. When she finally would notice herself being social and out there, she would begin stuttering and embarrassing herself. Hopefully, Whitedove wouldn't notice it. "Wait up!" she called back, a worried tone in her voice. She trotted towards the she-cat, but she refused to try and run in the snow. She could slip and fall and hurt herself. "We should go to the snakerocks and see if there are snakes there," she suggested, slowly catching up to the white cat.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]She rolled her eyes, a small giggle escaping her mouth. "That's what I meant," she insisted, staring at the other cat. Rosenose had a tendency to make mistakes or slip up with her words; at least she didn't begin stuttering. "When times get tough, maybe an adder wouldn't be so bad," she joked, shaking her head. The suggestion to go to the Tallpines settled well with the she-cat, and she just decided to go along with it. So much for her attempt at being a leader. "Sounds cool to me."

-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]She shook her head, not taking that for an excuse. She wasn't sure how a cat would pass into ThunderClan territory without noticing the nearby river, and the distinct scent of RiverClan mixing in with ThunderClan. "Surely you noticed the river. The whole area is surrounded by our scent," she explained, sighing.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Rosenose entered the medicine cat den, a frown set on her face. It was all her fault, and it was due to her carelessness that she was in this situation. She'd let herself get covered by the snow on the ground without shaking it off of her, and now she was suffering from the chills. "Can I get some help?" she called out shakily.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The cinnamon mink took a seat before the other she-cat, a sad smile appearing on her maw. "I-I believe I got wet in the snow, a-and now I'm feeling a bit ill," she answered, sniffing. She had a running nose, and she was almost positive that she couldn't feel her two back paws.

Username: calliecats // ∞ callie
Kitten Name: Idoneus [means worthy in Latin]
Gender: Tom-cat
Sexual Orientation: HeterosexualAppearance: a red tabby with golden eyes.
Personality: the guardian. Practical, traditional and organized; these are three words that describe Idoneus to the fullest. He prefers for everything around him to go as planned, and is easily annoyed when a minor detail is out of place. Always using logic in situations, new theories and abstraction doesn't settle well with him.
If he doesn't understand something, he'll go to the end of the world to make sure that he does understand it. Loyal and hard-working, he seems to have a clear vision to the way things should be. Rather than being a leader or follower, he chooses to be individualistic, making the choices that work best for himself rather than for those around him. Idoneus is capable of organizing and running special activities, leading hunting or border patrols, or even doing the simplest of chores. He values peaceful living, and wishes that the clans and tribes would coexist with one another in the hardest of times.
