[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The weather was nice, for a change. It was rare to see an average-temperature day in leafbare, but with the nice breeze that passed every so often, it stayed chilly. Noticing the new warrior from across the camp, and stood up and padded towards her, passing a group of apprentices chattering away. It hadn't been too long ago that she became a warrior also, and she was always up for a hunting patrol. "I'll go with you," she offered, a smile appearing on her maw.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The cinnamon mink nodded, lowering herself to sit on the ground beside the white she-cat. Rosenose knew how to hunt well enough, though she might cause some trouble along the way. Ever since she was an apprentice, she'd had trouble staying quiet while on the hunt. Her mentor had pushed her to take every hunting opportunity, so that she would get more practice. Now she was a warrior, and she was expected to go on the hunting patrols. "Which direction will we be going?" she asked curiously.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The cinnamon mink wasn't the best at making friends. It wasn't that she wasn't likable -- it was just that when others wanted to get to know her better, she would flee or begin stuttering. Usually her friendly demeanor came out when she wasn't trying to be friendly. Most of the time she didn't notice herself getting lost in a conversation. It was cats that were more reserved and quiet, much like herself, that made good friends for her. The tom-cat aura seemed to calm down a bit, and Rosenose noticed the muscles in his shoulders and back relaxing.
"I'm not the biggest fan of the rain, especially when it's chilly outside," she replied, glancing towards the entrance of the den. More cats had begun piling in, and for a moment she was glad that she wasn't claustrophobic.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The smell of fear was radiating off of the white she-cat, and she nudged her shoulder with her nose. "You seem stressed. Is this your first hunting patrol as a warrior?" she asked curiously, a warm grin lying on her face. Her rounded hazel eyes glanced at the snow leopard curiously, remembering that most snow leopards would be much bigger if they were at warrior age. "I actually think we should head towards the thunderpath. I tracked the scent of a group of mice heading that way earlier," she offered.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]I must steal it then .__.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Rosenose smiled at the she-cat, shrugging. Have has she been? She didn't even think that she could answer that question. She'd sprained her paw two moons ago, she got confused on a border patrol and wandered into enemy territory, and to sum it all up her mother had become mentally ill. "I've been good. Life is normal, I guess," she lied, keeping the cheesy little grin on her maw. Hearing a voice from behind her, she turned to see an apprentice standing there. "C'mon in. I was just feeding the queens," she called back to Primpaw.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Rosenose shook off the awkwardness in the air and looked at the apprentice, her expression calm and content. "I was planning on helping clean the area around here. The kittens seemed to have made a mess of the bedding around here, and I was looking to fix it up for the queens," she explained, flicking her tail towards one of the scattered nests. "You can help me if you wish to," she offered kindly. The apprentice had a rather stressed aura around her, and it was Rosenose's natural instinct to make sure she felt comfortable in this situation. "I believe you can fetch some moss over by the entrance to the warrior den," she mewed, her eyes glancing towards the crowded area around the warriors' den.

How would they keep the kittens out of their way? She would have to use logic to figure it out, but the answer was very clear. "We'll need them to stay with their mothers while we do it. Or at least keep them on the other side of the nursery," she mewed, nodding to herself. She padded to her left, where a mussed nest lied under brown leaves and thick twigs. "Yeah, I think we need some fresh moss. Just make sure that the moss doesn't contain any bugs or fleas. That wouldn't end well," she added. Swiping her paw at the twigs, she moved them out of her way.

The leafbare breeze are sent a chilled shiver down the back of the cream-colored she-cat. She and her mate watched as the small kitten appeared below her. The vocal noises the kitten began making made her wince, and she proceeded to make sure that the kitten was able to feed off of her. The kitten's colors were remarkable in her eyes, the mixture of the red tabby and brown tabby swirling around his face, down his flank and up to the tip of his tail. The masking white covered the patterns around his stomach, muzzle, back paws and even a large spot around the base of his tail.
She gave a warm smile towards the little tom-kitten. It was surprising that there was only one kitten; throughout her pregnancy she had felt a whole lot of movement within her stomach. She could only expect that the kitten would be energetic as he grew up. "Mountekit," she murmured, nudging the calico with the tip of her nose.

[justify][font=georgia][size=8]Newborn kittens didn't understand the world around them yet, and they couldn't even handle their own emotions. Growing up, they didn't remember the first time they entered the world, or the first time they heard their mother's soothing voice. Mountekit let out a wail, the fear taking over his mind.He couldn't yet hear his own screaming, and his vision was blank. The only thing that led him to the warmth was the little push he received from his mother -- and then he went silent. He suckled forcefully, the warm milk filling his little mouth. Maybe he would like it here, after all.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Letting out a deep breath, the cinnamon mink noticed her breath appearing before her eyes. She looked out towards the scene of cats having this so called 'party', and it wasn't too long before she convinced herself to join in on the fun. Usually quiet and reserved, the she-cat surprised herself sometimes when she actually became social.
New to the warrior crowd, she recognized some of the apprentices that were playing in the snow. "Er... can I play, too?" Rosenose asked, shuffling her front paws on the ground. Ever since becoming a warrior, she'd been bombarded with tasks and patrols and hunts. She never had much time to play like she did as an apprentice.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Come on, come on, come on. The leafbare season had hit ThunderClan hard and fast, the crisp air from the leaf-fall disappearing overnight. Rosenose padded along a marked trail towards the river, where she was doing her daily patrols. She had noticed the river had frozen while she was hunting the day before, and she wanted to spend some of her time near the the wide stream while it was covered in ice. Being only twelve moons old, it was her first time seeing the river frozen -- she'd been a kitten in the nursery the last time leafbare came around.
As she approached the river, the sounds of the singing birds and the chirping crickets was muffled by the noise of the rushing river before her. Peering down into the frozen waters, she noticed the plentiful amount of fish swimming beneath the clear surface. Using logic, she determined that more fish were present because RiverClan wasn't able to hunt in the river at the moment.
A mischievous grin appeared on her maw as she contemplated whether or not she should test out the hard surface of the river.
