Dawnflower came out of the warriors den and padded to Songbird and Ivypaw . She settled herself there and perked her ears.

Dawnflower poked Ivypaw lightly," So watcha been up to?".

Dawnflower chuckled at Ivypaws words and put her tail around Harmonysongs shoulder.

Dawnflower purred to her in a motherly way," Aww don't worry hun you'll find someone".

Dawnflower got up and trotted out of camp.

As she trotted through the forest she scented the air. She thought to herself Hmm....squirrel somewhere. She followed the scent and saw the squirrel up in a tree.

She swiftly and silently climbed up onto a branch where the squirrel was just right above her. She leaped up and caught the squirrel in her mouth. But she didn't catch onto a branch quick enough and so she just hung there by her claws, clawing the branch and struggling to hold on she dropped the squirrel and started yowling for help.

She was afraid some one would not hear because was so far away. She yowled even louder.

She clawed the branch trying to hold on.

Her claws started to slip off the branch.

She hung there with Songbird holding her by her scruff," Can u pull up a bit? I'll be able to pull my self up if u do".

She scrabbled at the tree with her claws.

She heaved herself up and sat on the tree shakily.

She shakily meowed," Thanks I couldn't imagine what wold have happened if you didn't come."

She shook her pelt and started climbing down carefully. She joked," At least I got us a squirrel!".

When she got back to camp she put the squirrel in the fresh kill pile and sat down in front of the warriors den. She started to groom herself hoping it would calm her.
