    Hidden licked his fangs and yawned, a breeze wafting through the entrance and pulling on his fur again. The large tom rose stiffly to his paws and padded back to where he had been previously -- seated atop a flat rock where he could survey the windswept moors and see towards the distant horizon. His favourite view.

    Ooc; Oooh, someone has a crush on Hidden x3

    Ic;

    Hidden watched Moonlight walk by the camp entrance, slightly entranced by the intricate markings that swirled across her fur, before he went back to staring over the moors again. Without a tree in sight, there was perfect view of the sky, so it would be easy to see if any large birds decided to prey on the hunter. The sky was empty though, save the white whisks of cloud scattered among the blue.

    Lilackit's lids began to droop and feel heavy. Soon, she was snoozing peacefully against her mother's flank, breathing heavily and peacefully. Frozenbrook licked her daughter's forehead before leaning over and picking her up by her scruff. The queen carried her kit up to the nursery, which was now very crowded with six new kits, and clambered into the bathtub. Lilackit curled up into the side whilst Frozenbrook smoothed down her fur.

    "Snowleopard," she gasped, looking over at the newborn kits. "They've opened their eyes." Frozenbrook admired the array of colours, purring. "They're beautiful."

    Ooc; ^^ Yay for Hidden!

    Ic;

    Hidden turned as his name was called by the Tribe Healer and padded over, curious to why he was summoned. He stopped as Ivy, a fellow cave-guard, went to Fawn first, and wondered briefly what was going on. It couldn't be concerning just cave-guards as she'd called for Moonlight too, who was a prey-hunter. He sat on his haunches, his head tilted slightly to the side.

    Thanks to the angle of the sunlight, his orange eyes was flaming, resembling a raging inferno, whilst his blue eye shone like the undisturbed surface of a lake. He winced, blinded by the sharp rays that flood into his face.

    Ooc; I think Reedfeather was in camp, he was just about to head out to go hunting with Appleflower :)

    Ic;

    Appleflower looked back as Froststar summoned Reedfeather to her den, her silver eyes glittering like orbs in the almost-starlight. She flicked her tail, signalling that she would be alright hunting alone if he went to talk with the leader.

    "Oh..." Frozenbrook said, frowning sadly. "So, that means he won't be a warrior..." Even though it wasn't a very nice thing to say, especially as Paintedkit's mother was sitting right next to her, Frozenbrook almost always spoke honestly what was on her mind. Lilackit squirmed in her sleep, imagining that she was chasing a squirrel in the garden.

    Ooc; Great Starclan! Look at that hamster! :o (Dayum, I love the smilies here)

    Ic;

    Hidden averted his gaze from the bright sunshine and looked over at Moonlight who had just limped into camp. She was obviously wounded, with blood dripping down her paw. His eyes widened with shock; I'd been sure there were no birds in the sky though...what on earth attacked her?

    No; that was no wound that she could've received from a bird. There were no clawmarks, or anything. Hidden turned his gaze back to the meeting after Fawn had checked her over, and claimed that she would be okay. He stifled a yowl when something heavy bowled into him.

    If he hadn't been such a big tom, he probably would've fallen over, but thanks to his muscles, he managed to stand his ground as Moonlight regained her balance. It was after she'd stood up when Hidden realized that...he'd just been given a to-be...! The great tom looked, surprised, down at Eagle.

    Hidden opened his mouth to say something, but he had trouble finding the right words to say to his new to-be. he had never been a very sociable tom.

    "Um...hi," he greeted awkwardly, unsure of what to do.

    Hidden perked up, turned his back on his new to-be for a few moments at the mention of fox-traps. He hadn't noticed any on his patrols, so they must've sprung up quite recently. He nodded gratefully to Owl's congratulations, but he was little wayward and distant as he looked towards Ivy's wound on her back leg.

    Those fox-traps are back again? We'll have to be more careful...

    Appleflower continued into the snowy forest, staring down at the small indents her paws made. It was bitterly cold; every breath was greeted with white mist that blended in perfect with the frosted trees. The small she-cat padded through the bleak territory, keeping her ears and eyes open for sight or sound of any prey. She could find none.

    Frowning, Appleflower crouched, pulling herself forward. A mound of snow scraped against her belly-fur, and she shivered, jolting upright. A raven up above squawked, fluttering through the treetops. Appleflower scowled. Great. Now the whole forest knows I'm here. She watched the silhouette of the black bird against the large, clear disappear into the night, still calling out a warning to all of the remaining prey.

    Hidden flicked his ears, wondering what he teach his new to-be first. Suddenly, an ear-splitting wail sliced through his mind, breaking his train of thought. The massive white tom whisked around, eyes wide with shock. Somewhere out over the moor, the terrible shrieking continued. Hidden was immediately rushing across the grass, flattened by powerful winds, following the sound of the painful cries.

    Seeing a glimmer of fur flash in the corner of his vision, the great white tom halted. The closer he edged, the more he saw. Fawn was lying on her side, caught in a trap. Ash was trying to break it to free her, but Hidden could see Fawn's life ebbing away slowly as more blood poured onto the grass.

    Mouth open in a silent lament, Hidden rushed forward, fastening his jaws around the tight string. He tugged and pulled, praying that he could either pull the wooden spike out of the ground, or snap the string with his sharp fangs.

    Hidden flew backwards the tight string recoiling fiercely and whipping him in the face. He managed to sit up, a few droplets of blood welling up on his muzzle from where the string had bit him. Panting heavily, he dropped it and padded to Ash's side.

    "Thanks," he muttered to the hunter, his gaze on Fawn. He nodded, sprinting away to try and find some cobwebs. Where would I find cobwebs on a moor!?

    Hidden returned with a small batch of cobwebs. It was all he could find on the grass, and he wanted to get back to Fawn as quickly as possible to ensure that she survived. He wouldn't have the death of the Tribe's Healer on his conscience. She won't die, he thought firmly, nudging them closer to her.

    Hidden, breathing heavily blinked and looked over at Ash.

    "Is Stream still caught?" he asked, feeling breathless. He hadn't heard from the she-cat until Ash had stated that she too was caught in one of the dreaded fox traps.

    Hidden was obviously not cut out to be a Healer. Where he was no stranger to life-threatening wounds, he had absolutely no idea what to do with the poultice that Ash had just given him. Do I feed it to her, or...? The big white tom stared uncertainly at the liquid. He jolted his head up, thinking that he'd heard some other cat calling for help, but he brushed it off, trying to work with the liquid that starting to seep around his paws.

    I have to try and save Fawn, he thought determinedly.

    Slyfox blinked, looking sheepishly at his apprentice. Immortalpaw just sighed heavily and buried his mouse for later, listening intently for prey. He paused, scenting a sparrow nearby. He could hear it chirping...where is it? Immortalpaw looked up, seeing the bird perched on a branch, probably guarding a nest of chicks.

    The blue tabby began to climb upwards, scaling the tree much more efficiently than his mentor. He stopped at a low branch, caught his breath, and continued upwards. He stopped at another branch, eyeing the sparrow hungrily. Thanks to his stealth, it hadn't seen him yet.

    Creeping along the branch, the apprentice licked his fangs. However, before he leapt, Immortalpaw halted. He had seen something in the corner of his eye. Because he was so high up, he could see far over the other treetops, and into a Twoleg garden nearby.

    He saw....he saw......Amberpaw.....and a kittypet?

    Mouth open, Immortalpaw hardly noticed as the sparrow chirped from surprise and fluttered away into the sky.

    Appleflower crept forwards, stalking a mouse. It was the first prey she'd seen all night, and she was determined not to lose it. Sure enough, she jumped on top of it's spine, crushing it and killing it instantly. Proud of her catch, she trotted back to camp, wanting some cat to eat it whilst it was still warm.

    Luminous froze when she heard the howl, her bright blue eyes wide with surprise. Whoever was calling was he-wolf and...he wanted to start a pack? The golden she-wolf stretched out her neck in surprise. Was this her chance the settle down and give up on all of her adventures? But do I really want to? After taking a look at the many trinkets that she'd collected over the moons of travelling, Luminous decided that perhaps being part of a pack would be for the better.

    She padded forwards sheepishly, aware of just how close she was to the other two wolves. Emerging from the snowy pine forest, she looked at them; one was a golden she-wolf, the other a black male who must've emitted the howl. Perhaps they're mates...? Luminous waited in the open until one of them noticed her, feeling a still a little nervous from her previous encounter.

    Ooc; Woah, there are loads of apprentices!! :o

    Ic;

    Appleflower laid down her catch on the fresh-kill pile, which seemed to be getting smaller all the time. She scowled, looking up at the sky. The moon was passing slowly, so there was still a little more time until dawn. The silver torbie sighed and crept back into the forest, desperate to catch more prey before the sun came up.

    She returned just as the sun was peeking over the horizon, bathing the snow all different shades of violet and amber. Exhausted, Appleflower dropped her prey on the slowly growing pile; another mouse and a sparrow. It wasn't much, but it was enough. Losing the appetite to eat, the small torbie hurriedly washed herself and continued to the warriors' den to sleep.
