Shrewspot growled and lashed his tail "Battles are stressful on cats. We don't need to cause more problems with so many already arising with them."

Amberstream padded over to Shadowheart and Dustclaw "I'm so glad to have two such strong clanmates" she purred having watched the whole play-fight

"And like the one before that, cats got hurt! My sister's paw was broken. Appletail doesn't need extra stress. Especially with leaf-bare coming up and the threat of sickness that comes with it. Not to mention the shortage of food..." Shrewspot fumed.

Shrewspot ducked his head "She wanted to go provoke a fight with rogues and asked me to help. I told her no..."

"I know..." Shrewspot sighed "I tried...I don't know what else to do"

Amberstream padded to her brother's side "Don't worry Shrewspot. Just give her time, she's an apprentice, she'll learn. Why don't you go eat something?"

Shrewspot nodded and walked to the freshkill pile

Amberstream padded to Shadowheart's side "come on. Let's go for a walk" she purred "the forest air will make you feel better"

Amberstream padded out of the camp and headed towards the border opposite of where they were attacked by rogues. She sighed enjoying the peace and quiet.

Appletail stood from her nest shaking her pelt, she knew she needed to meet with Starclan soon, but with all these injuries and sudden attacks, she didn't know how that would be possible

Shrewspot noticed Amberstream wasn't with Shadowheart and padded to the medicine cat's den where he saw two of his sisters, Goldenflower and Appletail. "Where's Amberstream? She wasn't with Shadowheart, I though she might be with you."

Appletail looked up "Hm, I guess I assumed she'd be with you if she wasn't with Shadowheart..."

Shrewspot looked behind him anxiously

Appletail flicked her tail on his nose "Don't worry," she mewed "Amberstream can handle herself..."

Shrewspot looked back at her "I know. It's others I'm worried about."

Ooc: Okay, so I'm going to post it here because the sign up thread is so full of people messing around that I feel like it would get lost. warriorlover228 (Sunstar) Who are Cedarpaw, Faithpaw, and Morningpaw's mentors? (And snowpaw if he gets accepted?)

Amberstream continued padding along, she looked up and saw the silhouette of what looked like two kits. She scented the air, but picked up no sign of any other cat. She darted forward 'What are kits doing out here without their mother?' she thought to herself. Just as she was about to reach them she stumbled over a root and fell ungracefully, rolling to where they should have been. But nothing was there. "Great. Now I'm seeing things." she murmured, turning back to head to camp.

Shrewspot sat down "I know..." he sighed. He heard leaves by the entrance rustle and Amberstream pad through. He looked at her dirty ruffled pelt and dashed over to her "What happened?" he demanded "Were you attacked? Are you hurt?"

Amberstream headed towards the medicine cat den "No Shrewspot. I'm fine. Calm down." she mewed

Appletail stood "Sunstar, maybe you and I should speak with Shadowheart and Dustclaw about this..." she suggested calmly

Appletail followed Sunstar to her den flicking her tail to the two toms, signaling for them to wait. "What is it Sunstar?"

Amberstream sat with Goldenflower grooming her coat "To answer your question from before the meeting" she started "I thought I saw abandoned kits and I fell trying to get to them." She looked up concerned "To make matters worse, they didn't really exist...I was just seeing things."

Appletail dipped her head "Alright." she paused "Sunstar. It's almost the half-moon, I'm going to need to speak with Starclan, but with all these attacks...I'm just not sure that's going to be possible."

Appletail dipped her head "Thank you, but I'm more worried about rogues injuring more cats when I'm gone than the task of going to speak with Starclan." she mewed

Appletail looked between the two toms, unsure of what to do "What if it is the will of StarClan that this is happening?' she thought to herself.

Amberstream darted over circling Shadowheart worriedly, casting anxious glances at Dustclaw. She whirled on her sister "Appletail! Do something" she mewed worriedly

Appletail lept down beside the unconsious warrior, she looked up to her brother "Shrewspot! Come help me lift him." Shrewspot bounded to her side and together the two of them lifted Dustclaw to move him to the medicine den.

Amberstream nudged Shadowheart to his paws, letting him lean on her. "Come on, you too." she mewed
