OOC: Okay.
I think I got this...IC:
Cloudpaw grumbled to herself as she lay in the Medicine Cat Den, her left shoulder wound tightly with cobwebs and small cuts and slices covering her silver pelt. She stood up much to her joint's protests, and limped her way out into the open.
-
Cloudpaw nodded to Thicketail, mumbling under her breath. She padded into the apprentice den, having been told to avoid fighting or physical activity by the Medicine Cat. Laying down and curling up, she set her head on her paws. Her dull eyes darted around the room, desperate for something to do.
-
Cloudpaw's eyes softened, and she stared over to Lilysong with a small smile. "Thanks Lilysong...I remember that as well." The silver she-cat sighed, saying,"I'm so happy for you...my sister never had the chance to become a warrior. Hopefully, I'll make it 'till then." She chuckled lightly, sitting up. Her eyes becoming downcast, she murmured,"I dislocated my shoulder in a fight with a rogue...Medicine Cat said that they didn't know if I'd ever be able to run again. My warrior ceremony may have to go on hold..."
-
OOC: G'Night! :3
-
"As much as I hate to say it, I agree." A silver apprentice walked out of the shadows, her eyes soft and filled with understanding. "I hate to see kits leaving Thunder Clan, but if they choose to stay they should be able to...", Cloudpaw stated.
-
Cloudpaw felt tension between the cats, her fur bristling slightly at the though of a quarrel. "These kits are still young, and the joy of that is the fact that they can choose their own path to walk. We shouldn't force them to follow another.", she commented quietly, her tail lashing back and forth in slight irritation.
-
Cloudpaw's eyes widened as she saw the small kit attack the rogue. Had Weedkit not wanted to stay? Her mind whirled with questions, but she felt her body drop instinctively into a battle position. She didn't make move, and didn't unsheath her claws. Yet.
-
Cloudpaw gritted her teeth, backing up. Which side would she take? Fear only wanted what was best for Pebblekit, so going against her would be against Pebblekit's wish to stay. Even so...fighting alongside the rogue would mean she would be turning on her own clan.
-
Cloudpaw had been waiting in the shadows, simply observing what was going on. She sighed, making her way towards Pebblekit slowly. She lay down, not trying to scare the small kit. Her eyes softened, and she spoke quietly. "I know this is upsetting for you...But Pebblekit? Whatever you decide to choose, I support." She let the beginnings of a small smile creep onto her muzzle. "You should choose the path you want to take." She stood up, turning away and letting her muscles relax. It seemed that the tension was lessening.
-
Cloudpaw shook her head, saying quickly,"No, no, no. Kits are the most important part of a clan! They are the clan's future. Future warriors, future medicine cats, future leaders! We never harm kits. They are important to ALL clans, and we respect that."
-
OOC: Bye Starfletcher~! G'Night!
IC:
Cloudpaw's ear twitched, and her eyes narrowed slightly. She sighed, saying,"I...I don't know. I'm afraid Fear was lying. Part of the warrior code is never to harm kits, and no matter what clan they are from we are always to protect them."
-
Cloudpaw padded in quietly, her eyes settling upon Blackpaw's curled up form. She walked over, her ear twitching slightly. "Blackpaw...? You okay?", she asked.
-
Cloudpaw sighed, laying down in a den beside Blackpaw. Brushing him slightly with the tip of her tail, she smiled kindly. "I'm sorry for your loss Blackpaw...My sister was murdered when she was but a kit." Her eyes looked slightly downcast, but she quickly regained her sweet demeanor. "I understand your pain. Anything I can do to help?"
-
Cloudpaw sighed, staring at Blackpaw as he raced out of the den. She stood up herself, padding out and meeting her mentor by the fresh kill pile. The two walked out into the forest, and Cloudpaw whispered something to her mentor Birchtail. He nodded, and Cloudpaw called,"Blackpaw...Lionpaw...care to join us?"
-
Cloudpaw grinned lightly, motioning for them to follow. As they walked throughout the forest, Cloudoaw had a strange feeling in her stomach. They continued, until Cloudpaw stopped. "Somethings not right...", she mumbled to herself. Suddenly, she gasped as a rogue darted past. She looked to her mentor, and she yelped,"Birchtail! A rogue!"
-
Cloudpaw dashed after the rogue as well, trying to claw at it from behind. She barely heard Birchtail's calls, her mind focused in the rouge. The silver apprentice's mentor called after the 3 apprentices, yelping,"Hey! Come back! Your crossing into River Clan!!" Cloudpaw raced after the rogue, suddenly crashing into another cat. She stared upwards, gulping as an angry River Clan warrior stared down at her. "Where do you think you are going you Thunder Clan scum?", it spat.
-
Cloudpaw backed up, her ears flattening back against her head. "I-I'm sorry sir-" "As if you little tree-climbers! Liars are what you are!", the River Clanner retorted. Soon enough, Birchtail approached, and tried to calm the River Clan warrior down. Cloudpaw stepped off to the side, hiding behind Blackpaw and Lionpaw.
-
The River Clan warrior looked as if he was going to murder the three apprentices, but Cloudpaw's mentor was able to calm him down slightly. The River Clan warrior yowled,"This isn't over you fox hearted kits! I'll get you one day..." He dashed off, knowing he was completely outnumbered. Soon afterwards, Birchtail had them return back to camp and report to Scorchstar.
~Later that night~
Cloudpaw sat upright while in her small den, the rustling of leaves and mumbles waking her from her shallow slumber. The scent of River Clan drifted into their den, and she quickly alerted Blackpaw and Lionpaw.
-
Cloudpaw got up, her claws unsheathing silently. She turned to Blackpaw, whispering with a small smirk,"Ready to teach those fish-faces a lesson?"
