Newt paused, and Northe halted as well, fox lengths in front of his littermate. Newt whirled around and glared at the she-cat, lips drawn back in a snarl. "I'd like to see you try," he hissed.
-
Newtfang straightened, the rodent hanging limply from his jaws. The young warrior's kill was rather large and plump, and the warm scent coming from it clogged his sense of smell.

Newt yelped as pain exploded in his spine, but rather quickly recovered. He bunched his muscles, but Northe stopped his brother in his tracks. "Just leave her," the silver mackerel tabby insisted. Reluctantly, Newt scoffed and muttered, "damned she-cats." Turning, the brothers hurried in Fluffy's trail.

Newtfang arrived at camp just as Flarestar began speaking, instantly causing his ears to become erect. "Fox?" He echoed.
-
-
Newtfang instantly whirled around at the sound of the snapping twig, ears erect and shoved forward. The prey dropped and he sniffed the air, detecting another presence. A young one. "Who's there?" he meowed, tensing his muscles.

Newtpaw scratched his chin casually, his ears back and tail flopped limply on the ground. He was a careless apprentice, unlike his careful younger brother Northernpaw. "I don't get why these cats can't just let things go. Sure, their father's in Shadowclan and their mother's dead, that doesn't make them evil," Newtpaw retorted, licking his gray shoulder. His pelt was all gray with darker speckles, and his stormy gray blue eyes gave away his personality: Carless, short-tempered, and sharp-mouthed. "Maybe its an omen," Northernpaw pointed out, shrugging. The silver mackerel tabby gazed at the two as well and added, "but you're right. It makes no sense why these two should be punished."

Nope, haven't seen any T-rexes lately unfortunately.

Newtfang's hackles rose at the thought of the creature lurking in his clan's territory. He scoffed and muttered half to himself, "cactus for brains foxes."
-
Newtfang narrowed his stormy gray blue eyes, staring intensely at the bush where Haykit is hiding, but oblivious of her presence. Suddenly, his muscles relaxed and his whiskers twitch, amusement finding their way into his gaze. "Haykit? Is that you I smell?" He meowed in a half chuckle.
