Willowflower nearly crashed into the patrol as they set off"Whoa!whats the rush?"she said her vole and two mice at her paws

Amberleaf was across the camp and rolled her eyes and also giving an annoyed snort at her sisters naiveness.She always is wondering what goes on in camp but she always is missing it because shes out with some stupid toms!She growled and padded over to the patrol"well if you havnt noticed.Which I'm guessing you havn't"she growled"Your leader is sick with greencough and has gone off somewhere.And I just know you probably havn't seen her because you were to busy mooning over some tom"She said in a sneering tone and making a grimace

Willowflower growled"Tell me what happens...."she said waching after the patrol not knowing if she should go.

Amberleaf looked at the tom"Nothing"She said sharply and pelted after the patrol following them to the first scent where she stopped and looked around anxiously.She stopped and bolted towards the river where she could scent them.She bursted through the trees and looked around wildly she saw them on the other shore and she leaped into the river and spluttered almost forgetting to hold her breath.She emerged and and took in deep breaths paddling and thrashing wildly not really knowing how to swim.She made it to the shore and collapsed her fur dripping onto the wet sand she looked up wearily and her eyes widened as she saw her still leader.She hauled herself up and ran to the group of cats surrounding Mintstar"Great starclan no!...."She gasped and slumped to the ground in defeat.

Jasmine watched her two kits scorch and Mint.She purred as they played in the tall grasses"Be careful you to I don't eant you getting hurt!"She said sternly as they tossled by some wood.She flicked her bushy greay tail and blinked her ice eyes in the sunlight,She was a main coon.

Scorch leaped on his sister holding her down"We know mom you tell us everyday!"He said in a little annoyed voice

Mint screached and wriggled under her brothers weight"help me mama!!"She cried her blue eyes wide

He looked at both the she-cats"why should I tell you,especially you"He said to chelly

"If I should mind my own life then why don't you to?"she asked in a smart alicky tone

Her ears pricked"Kits come here quick!!"she said

Scorch leaped off of her and ran to his mother

Mint yelped and ran after afraid something might get her

He sat and grumbled to himself"Well where is he?"He asked getting up

She bowed her head her tail still.She looked at Mintstars lifeless cold body and shuddered,why did starclan do this to them?Were they angry at Frostclan?She still couldnt understand why certain things happen.Maybe starclan didnt control everything?....

Fawnheart padded through the forest scenting the air for prey.She stepped through some ferns and saw Snakeheart alone and rather sad.She bounded out of the shrubs and called out to him"Hey Snakeheart!Want some company?"She purred trotting over her yellow eyes lit with amuesment.She flicked her golden tabby tail and twitched her whiskers walking at his side.

He shook the cage"But we dont have time for lunch!"He said nervously"Do you know how twolegs torture us!?"He asked frantically holding the cage with his claws out

Fawnheart was leading the border patrol with Ambersky,Scorchfang and Poppypaw.She stopped and scented the air"I scent non shadowclan"She hissed and padded towards the smell teeth bared.She stepped from a holly bush with her patrol and saw the two she-cats."What are you doing on shadowclan territory!?"she hissed her patrol flanking out in aggresive stance.

Scorchfang was closest to Rowanskies"stealing our prey?"He accused

Ambersky snorted from behind Curiousheart"a couple of thunderclan warriors!"She hissed

Poppypaw watched eyes wide not knowing what to say.She stood behind her mentor Ambersky and watched intently.

Fawnheart flicked her tail in annoyance.She was leading a patrol with Ambersky,Scorchfang and Topazpaw."I scent Riverclan"She hissed to her patrol seeing a group of riverclan cats below a low rise.Fawnheart and her patrol were on the top gazing down intently on there tresspassers"I recognize them"She said narrowing her eyes and crouching ready to spring.

Ambersky crouched aswell summoning Topazpaw to her side."Remember the moves I showed you Topazpaw"she said gazing down flicking her Dark brown tabby tail in annoyance.

Scorchfang hissed and bared his teeth in anger"What do those Mangy fish eaters want!?"He said angrily

Topazpaw gulped and shuddered as he thought about sinking his claws into other apprentices fur.He recognized his friend from gatherings cloudpaw.He saw her pure white pelt along with the other huddled cats.He would fight to the death for his clan,But why did she have to be one he had to defeat?...

Cloudpaw follwed her mentor Runningbrook and flicked her tail ready to fight for her clan.She knew they had to fight shadowclan if they were to ever get more territory.She looked around feeling as if a cat was atring at her,its gaze burning into her like fire...

Runningbrook sat with her patrol talking about the plan of attack.She realized her apprentice looking a little uneasy"Are you alright Cloudpaw?"she asked her sympathetically

Twistedclaw watched Runningbrook and narrowed his eyes"We dont have time for this runningbrook!!"He hissed"This is a battle not a nursery!!"He growled

Tigerpaw watched cloudpaw"Dont worry,I'll be right with you"He reassured his troubled clanmate

"Right here"Answered a deep voice from the shadowy trees.A large Gray tom emerged with a smaller muscular She-cat and a small gold tom."I told you we'd be here"The tom answered in a smartish tone"I brought Ambersky and Lionpaw,And you remember me,I'm Twistedclaw..."

Fawnheart gazed at the tom"They can speak for themselves"She said looking at the she-cats"what were you doing on our territory?"she asked

Ambersky growled at the tom"They have noses unless they cant smell"she hissed

Scorchfang bared his teeth at the tom"Maybe they would do something like that"He growled

Poppypaw looked at the tom
