Softpelt staggered along the the slippery log as her and her mate, Fireclaw, try to outrun the Thunderclan patrol. "What if we can't get away!" Softpelt began to panic as she starts to slip off the log. She was heavily pregnant which made it harder to hold on, "FIRECLAW!! HELP ME!!" she gasped, digging her claws deeper into the rotten log. She closed her eyes hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. "Starclan, don't let me fall..." she mewed softly. She looked down and the looked at her mate, he seemed so far away though she felt is grasp as he tried to pull her up. They heard a cat scream as Cloudpaw jumped out of the brambles and began to help Softpelt and Fireclaw. "What are you doing here!" Softpelt hissed. "I suggest you stop complaining and accept y help!" he retorted. They finally got Softpelt up and over the log, unharmed. "I'm coming." Cloudpaw announced. "Do they know you're gone?" Fireclaw asked, looking through the bushes carfully. "Yes." Cloudpaw said looking at Softpelt concernedly. He never truly cared for the queen, but he could see she needed him for once.

Silvertail was sitting in the far corner. He didn't care what others thought of him. He starred down at his vole and pushed it away as he laid down, head on his paws. He sighed, "This is too much. Everyone judging us 'different' cats. This has to end." He had a lot on his mind after being shunned from his parents. He hated them just as much as they hated him. He knew it was StarClan's path for him to be like this. He knew there was a reason, a reason no other cat could understand. He stood up, picking up the vole and threw it to Cobrakit and Sorrelkit. He watched as the attacked the prey fiercely. He looked over at Firelight and Snowpaw. "Hello." he said, padding up to them. He nodded politely.

Silvertail sat near the boarder. He was going to leave. "No one wants me here." he meowed, not knowing anyone was listening, "No one likes me." His soft green gaze rested on a small green leaf. He heard a twig snap behind him, he jumped as he spun around to see who was there. "Greenleaf?" he said shockingly as he remembered the small green leaf he had been staring at. He remembered the soft, emerald color of the leaf and how it was surrounded by the dead, ripped up leaves. He remembered how they used to be stuck together and how they would never leave each others side. Then he remembered the day it all changed. The day his brother tried to kill her and he wasn't there. He couldn't help but let a small tear drop from his eye, "I...I don't suppose you will forgive me...Will you?" He said, as his voice shook.

Goldfur walked along the boarder of ThunderClan and ShadowClan. She had been meeting Shadowfall every night since they were apprentices. "Where are you Shadow!" she exclaimed. She laid down in a patch of moss and closed her eyes. She fell asleep. When she woke up, Shadowfall was beside her and it was morning. "Shadow!" she purred loudly, she licked his ear.

Best friend? he thought silently to himself. "Thank you. I'm glad you said that!" he choked out painfully, wrapping his tail around her. He couldn't bare the thought of losing her again. He had already planned to leave, but he did not know how to tell her. What if she hates me? What if she will never forgive me? What if I ruin everything we have and had? "Greenleaf..I have to tell you something...Something that will affect us both." he mewed sadly. He looked at her sorrowfully.

"Neither do I." he admitted. He looked back up at the tom. "I've always had a strange attraction toms." his voice was soft and kind. He suddenly heard a strange, squeal coming from out side of the camp, "D-did you hear that?" he mewed, his silver fur bristling and his deep blue haze turning to a blue fire. He stood up.

"I'm fine now!" she purred. She was happy to see him again. She heard a patrol approaching. "Looks like we have company." she whispered half jokingly. In habit, she jumped up and darted up the tree behind her watching Shadowfall. She really needed to tell him something but she knew it would have to wait until the patrol was gone.
