"Sorry about that.." Vergil smiled back at Kate and pulled them up to the roof. Setting down on the edge, he set his lunchbox down and opened it to reveal something.. Well, odd. It wasn't anything anyone in Japan or China made - it was a type of soup, called gumbo.

Kate raised a confused eyebrow. "What is that?" she asked, pointing to it with her index finger. She hasn't had soup often, and it didn't look like it.

He took a small spoonful of the thick gravy, rice, meats, and vegetables. "Here, try it." He placed his free hand under her chin and put the spoon in front of her mouth.
