    Eva stopped running at a fork in the maze. "Which way?" She asked herself. There were four turns to take but she was stumped on which way to go. She saw the sun going down. Oh no, I should've gone back a long time ago. Then Eva shook her head. No, they don't want me and I don't like it here. She went forward then her a noise. She stopped dead in her tracks and slowly turned away. What she saw was a spiky, dark creature. It came towards her and stopped about a couple inches near her. Eva only knew on thing to do Run. The word pulsed through her but she was frozen in place, unable to move. Then she felt immense pain in her leg. She screamed a cacophonous scream. She had been stung….

    OOC: Uh... Kris had run into the maze after her...


    IC: Kris rounded a corner just in time to see a creature the size of a cow with shimmering, spiked skin and no distinct shape depart. Eva stood before her, her scream piercing the air like the griever's spike through her leg. "Oh God! Eva!" Kris rushed to her side, crying. She had been so rude to Eva, so unwelcoming. Now she could die right in front of her, and she couldn't do a thing about it. "I... I'm so sorry..." she wailed through her sobs. "Get on my back," she ordered, thankful that Eva was so fit, she might be able to carry her. She crouched down to let Eva climb on for what she knew would be the scariest piggy-back ride of both their lives.

She began sobbing, the pain in her leg was so intense as it creeped up to her thigh and the pain kept spreading. Her vision became blurry and she couldn't stand it anymore. She had to let go. Give it up. Go away. Eva closed her eyes and went unconscious.

    IC: Kris felt Eva's struggles on her back suddenly cease as she trudged along. Thankful that both their jobs had been made easier, Kris continued to run as fast as she could through the winding, overgrown passages of the Maze. Eva's weight, although light on its own, made her trip infinitely harder. Her heart felt as though it might burst. Retracing her footsteps, she trekked on, her legs leaden and her panting audible above all else. At last, the spiked edges of the Gate appeared at the end of a long corridor. By then, her heart rate was all she felt, as a tingling sensation had spread through her legs and fingertips. With her last ounce of strength, she pushed on through the gateway. As soon as she had set Eva down, propped up against an ivy-coated wall of the Glade, blackness danced its way into her vision. She dropped to her knees, then her face. She passed out.

She opened one eye then the other. They both clenched shut again, not wanting to see daylight again. Why aren't I dead? She asked herself many times before the pain made her pass out again. Knives jabbing into flesh, being in -20 degrees water, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts. SHe thought.

    Serafina heard the piercing scream, and soon the running footsteps of someone. She sprinted towards it, knowing that a scream that horrible must be something.. well, as equally horrible. As she neared the scene, her heart dropped. What could she possibly do to help them? Kris seemed fine; despite being unconscious.. but.. Eva..
