  • {ᴏᴏᴄ; Grievers can climb walls. c:
    And me Sam and her pervy mind.

    {ɪᴄ; Sam had a bit more of an... inappropriate dream with Ron. She woke up an hour or two later, being unable to stand thinking of things like that. She fell asleep for several more hours, and woke up with sunlight shining in on her face. She could hear the walls opening. "The walls are opening! We need to get Ron!" She yelled, and ran out of the shack, barefoot.

  • Ron was shaking, scared to death, and he tripped as he ran in the glade again. He curled up in the grass and rocked violently, freaking out. He had just barely survived, running around all night and crying loudly, throwing rocks he found rarely at the grievers... He was on the verge of tears.
    Candy woke up and yawned. "Morning..." She got up, and ran out of the shack as fast as her legs would carry her to see if Ron was okay. She tripped over the grass again and crawled to his side. "Are you okay?!"

  • Kris woke from her fitful sleep. If it hadn't been for the screech of stone rubbing against stone, she probably would have slept longer. Then she remembered Ron. She stood up, pushing her grogginess out of her mind, and followed Sam, she too lacking shoes. Her sprinting legs carried her to Ron, shaking with weariness and concern. "You okay?" she asked gruffly, staring at the boy as if he were a miracle.

  • Candid hugged the poor boy quickly. "I-I... There were creatures... They were so scary... I-I..." Ron said, crying now from fear. "I don't know what to do with myself anymore..."

  • {ᴏᴏᴄ;

    {ɪᴄ; Sam embraced Ron without even thinking about it, she, too in tears. "Are you okay? Did the Grievers hurt you?" Her eyes were red and puffy, showing how much she'd cried. She felt silly, but she supposed that was okay if she did. "Ron, I thought you died-" She stopped, and let go of him, not realizing she was still hugging him.

  • Kris gave Ron a pat on the shoulder. She had a heart of gold, but she wasn't one of those emotional types. Suddenly aware of how close he'd come to dying, Kris wrapped her arm around Ron in a one-armed hug. "Don't do that again..." she said, looking into his eyes with a look that was serious and sarcastic at the same time, somehow.

  • "I couldn't help it, I was trapped in the maze." He hugged the girls back, "and those monsters were... Just.... I...." He could not find words to describe them. Candie patted him gently. "It's over now, it's okay... Shhh." She spoke like a mother to a crying baby, gentle and song like. Josh seemed to calm down then, and take a deep breath. "Okay, we need to get some food in him. Running all night surely burns calories like shuck."

  • {ᴏᴏᴄ;

    {ɪᴄ; "Come on, I'll get you some food and you can sleep." Sam couldn't even imagine what he'd seen. She took his hand, walking towards the homestead. There were apples on the table. They hadn't properly made a breakfast yet, so that would have to do.

  • Ron instantly stuffed his face and smiled weakly. "Thank you, Sam" he purred, leaning back trying to relax. Candie went to the counter. "If someone wants to get meat I can make something." She suggested, smiling softly. "And if the glade has kiwi I know a recipe to calm nerves."

  • {ᴏᴏᴄ; Your memory was wipe, you don't know recipes. o: You just know the basics of cooking etc.

    {ɪᴄ; "Candie, I think I've got this handled," she said with a tight smile. She was obviously jealous of Candie. It was ticking her off about how much she tried to get all over Ron. Sam grabbed an apple and a pear, and headed over to where Ron was sitting. She sat next to him, and gave him the fruit. "This stuff is pretty good," she smiled.

  • Ooc: oh. Kay.

    IC:
    Candie frowned and looked away. "Fine, but you don't have to be mean about it Sam." She said sadly and walked away, letting her insecurity take over and force her to cry quietly. She felt nobody liked her since now both Eva and Sam were being mean, and Kris never spoke to her really. Candie sniffled and hid her - she thought it was - ugly face in her arms.
    Ron looked at the pear but he coughed instead of eating it. "I know it's weird but I'm allergic to pears." Ron sighed with an apologetic smile.

    Ooc: oh and don't take the things I type to heart. It's they way Candie sees things, not me. :3

  • {ᴏᴏᴄ; I move things along too fast I'm sorry I'll go hide in the corner now. :(

    {ɪᴄ; "Oh, sorry." She smiled. She took the pear back. "Allergic to apples?" She asked. She wondered if there was anything besides produce downstairs. Like bread or something. She then worked up her courage and kissed Ron on the cheek, out of the blue. It was more of a peck, really. It was stupid that she was doing that so soon, she just didn't know how long they would live. "Ron, I was so worried you were dead," She said, and waited for his reaction to her kiss.

  • Ron didnt say anything till the kiss, at which he stood up in shock. "Um... I-I think I'm going to bed now." He said shakily and hid under a blanket. Candy continues to cry in her corner, her eyes red and puffy.

  • {ᴏᴏᴄ;

    {ɪᴄ; "Yeah, okay." She said, blushing. She went to her own bed, on the other side of the room. "Candie, why are you crying? You have to be tough to live out here.." or else the grievers will get to you, she thought to herself.

  • "Because you and Eva and Kris all hate me!" Candie sobbed. "And I'm ugly, that's what Ron acted like when I smiled at him!" Candie sniffed and leaned on the wall. "And you act like I can't so things for myself anyway!" She murmured, choked. "And then you act like you own Ron, and you act like he's already your boyfriend and none of us others' feelings don't matter because YOU like Ron so he's YOURS." Candie coughed.

  • {ᴏᴏᴄ; Sorry for short post.

    {ɪᴄ; "Get over it, Candie. You're not ugly. It's not even the point here. None of us are overly attractive, if you haven't noticed." She looked over at Ron. "And he's not mine. I think he likes you, Candie, not me."

  • "Candie!" Kris shouted, a little too loudly, in her mind slightly indignant at the accusation. "Don't say that! This is our new life. We need to be strong. If anyone hates anyone, its between us and the grievers. Cause I know I don't hate you." Her voice had died down as she spoke to a soothing muse, a loud whisper. "You're scared. I'm scared. We all are. Let's just be strong for each other."

  • "He can hear everything the girls are saying." Ron grumbled. "And to clarify, I like neither of you. You both are clearly jealous of each other" he eyed Sam on this part, "and I don't like that. And I also don't like rushing things. Sam." He looked down. "But seriously, Sam you could be a little more nice to others feelings. Maybe then we'd have a chance. Candie... You're cool but your like friend cool." He mumbled and went back to bed.
    "Jeesh, Sam! I don't even like him. I just said I wouldn't mind it earlier. It's called being nice, not being 'I wanna steal your man.' No. I want friends, but not if they are going to act like they are more important than other's feelings." Candie turned away with a sigh and wished she could go home - wherever that was.

  • Eva got fed up with all the fighting and crying. "Why are you guys so emotional!!!" She yelled out of frustration. "Candie, I don't hate you! If I did, Ron wouldn't be the one stuck in the maze. Ron, why did you stuff yourself? You will just get fat and if the maze problem happens again I doubt you will make it!" She took a breath from the yelling. "All of you, Ron's back, he survived, do we have to put more thought into that!?" She sat down on her bed. Now that''s what I'm talking about! Her brave self was back. Go away, now is not the time. Eva retorted to her mind.

  • Kris stared at Eva, not with a look of hatred, but one of shock and surprise. Who cares why Candie's emotional? she thought to herself. Something's wrong, can't we just be there for her? At this, Kris laid a hand on Candie's shoulder. "Sorry if it seems like I hate you. I swear, I don't," she chuckled. "Maybe we should all just stay out of the maze for awhile, until we know a little more about what's up with this place."
