Why would I want to? I was just helping you guys, not asking to join your little flock. Cleveland thought, not trying to sound rude, but also standing his ground.

Problemo, back to the surface Unknown sent to the leader.
Catherine rolled her eyes and climbed back up and shifted the lid back over the entrance and tossed a garbage bag over the lid to hide it. "Well you aren't the brightest being are you? Erasers hunt us by our scent, and you're putting yourself and us back into danger by refusing to go down to the safehouse, in which they can't track us through, and stay up here." The girl may be only 16, but she still held a strong voice that showed she wasn't going to just let a fellow birdkid just get hurt after he helped them out, plus he seemed like a great asset to their growing flock, and also she felt some weird feeling as though she shouldn't just let him get himself into any danger.
Unknown leaned against the wall calmly, not saying anything.
"I would really like to keep explaining to you but it's highly dangerous for us out here, and you must know that. If still, after I explain, you don't wish to join our flock so be it, but for the time being it is much safer in the safehouse then in the open." She replied.
-
Without another word Cleveland jumped down into the hole-like entrance, opening his wings slightly to ease-up his fall. He landed lightly on his feet, waiting for Catherine and Unknown.
-
Unknown tilted his head slightly.
Catherine shrugged. "Don't ask me. Let's go." She said and standing on the first step, she held her hands to the side, taking her leather jacket sleeves and sheilding her hands as she moved her feet and slid down, her hair flying upwards a little as she sped down the ladder. Her sleeves were hot when she landed, standing upright on the pillows. She walked around him and down the hallway. "This way. Kid, close the lid and hide the entrance on your way down." She called up the ladder.
Unknown shook his head and climbed downward only 3 steps before covering the entrance and hiding it, then afterwards he let go completely of the ladder and went plop! ninjastyle on the pillows. (Lol, sorry hyper right now.))
She began walking still, removing her leather jacket and hanging over her arm, her skirt swishing faintly as she walked, her wings outstretched slightly but her hurt one, the right one, was bent a little considering it hurt terribly to outstretch it. "Since I don't really know what you want me to tell you, just ask me any questions you have. But for starters, I'm Catherine Alexandria Ezayla, Experiment number 22.... He's Unknown The Kid, Experiment number 20....." She said. "I've known him ever since I can recall....And well, that's what he wants to be called.... Although I'm the only one who can call him Kid.... Otherwise he prefers to be refered to as Unknown...." She murmured. "But any other questions just ask away." She said as she walked.
-
"I'm Cleveland. Experiment number twenty-one. Not considered a successful one." he murmured quietly, flexing his wings then folding them back behind his back.
-
"Nah... They considered you successful at one point... But most of us are mess-ups only because we have minds of our own." She said. "Like me... I was considered a mistake from the start for the fact my donor father had blond hair and blue eyes and my donor mother had dark brown-almost black hair and hazel eyes, and I have red hair green eyes that change colors with my mood..." She said calmly. "And they were aiming for light brown hair with blue eyes and pure white wings, but I appeared completely different from what they aimed.... And with a feisty attitude opposite of the docile attitude of the female and male that are my DNA donors." She shrugged.
"And Unknown... His donors were both dark haired and olive skin-toned parents with soft lighter colored eyes, and he's got silvery hair and dark red eyes, and his wings were supposed to be the color of a tropical rainforest bird but they came out pitch black." She said. "So we're all mistakes, and we all have our own minds to make our own choices, and we have escaped." She smirked. "But do you have any questions?" She turned around, walking backwards calmly, knowing the terrain, as she looked at him, her head tilted to the side slightly in curiosity. -
(Brb, washing dye out of hair.))
-
"Nope. Experience has answered all of my questions." Cleveland said in a quiet voice. Compared to Catherine and Unknown, he sounded like crap. Like trash. All he had were light grayish-blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair, and light dusty brown and white wings. No wonder the scientists were disappointed with his outcome. He was supposed to have the deep brunette hair and color changing eyes that his father had. He almost snarled, becoming self-conscious and defensive.
-
"Ya know... You're cute. Not abnormal like us, you're kinda cool..." Catherine murmured in a soft voice, her eyes looking downwards, you could tell she had a sudden sense of shyness that she was extremely reluctant to admit.
Unknown seemed puzzled, never seeing her like this he was surprised at her soft voice and the slight color that he could sense coming to her cheeks. I wonder what's so different...is it.....this guy named Cleveland or something? Hmm... He looks about 16, same as her......is she- hmm.................. He thought to himself, puzzled. He kept this thoughts to himself for once and just kept walking calmly as if not even thinking of anything.
-
"You think so?" Cleveland asked quietly, shifting his wings slightly. "I've never heard anybody say that about me before." he gave a slight nervous chuckle.
-
"Mhmm....." She nodded, her eyes had shifted to a beautiful light blue coloring, her pupils normal sized, as she looked up at him, her deep red hair shading her face as she nibbled on the inside of her lip. "Um....Here we are..." She gestured to the space behind them. She placed her hand on the hand print pad and the doors opened up and she walked in. "So do you wish to stay with us and join our flock?" She asked him.
Unknown walked in behind her but turned to the left and started doing some high-tech working to program the hand print pad to open up to Cleveland too.
~(Sorry reading an old rp I did for the longest time, I loved that rp... ♥♥♥ I miss it... Oh well~))
-
"What other choice do I have? Bird kids have to stick together. Alone we're dog meat, but together, we're unstoppable." he shrugged, giving a mini speech. "I'll join your flock."
-
Unknown was working diligently.
"Well you'd have the choice of leaving and roughing it on your own." She smirked. "But I'd never advise that.... After all, I couldn't survive without Kid here.... And now, I see that you're a great asset too." She smiled. "Welcome to the flock. I'm Leader, and Kid is 3rd in command, co-captain, I'm looking for a person who proves to have grand leadership that can lead the flock when I am away.... Kid is 3rd just because I'm looking for someone not SO shifty looking that can speak up and that could speak to others when around humans...." She said. "But ya know..... Here's our hideout, soon we will be moving on though, after making this not smell like us we will ditch it and snag up our hand print pad and our blankets up, packing them to our bags and we will move on... Here's an extra bag. Think fast!" She tossed one to him.
-
Cleveland laughed, whipping out his left wing to block the bag, then grabbing it with one of his hands. "Thought fast." he smirked, waving the sleeping back around.
-
"Nice." She laughed. Then she jumped onto hers and smiled as it had skulls and flames and roses with barbwire all over it, totally her style.
Unknown pointed to his in the corner, his had skulls, shadowy kingdom heart enemies called Heartless Shadows[Kingdom Hearts Shadows search that up epic game my FAVORITE THING OF ALL TIME!] and white mystery question marks.
"We can fix up yours to fit your style if you want." She said to Cleveland. -
"Ooh." Cleveland crooned, liking the idea of a customized sleeping bag. "Hmm, what would I want on mine?" he wondered out loud, turning the sleeping bag over in his hands.
-
"Whatever you like." She smiled happily. "After all that will be your sleeping back to sleep in while we're crashing at a place or while we're on the move... The large 3 person tent is over there.... It compacts down to a size I can carry easily, and then if we get more than 3 members in our flock later on, we can easily buy more with this." She pulled out of her 8 pocketed leather jacket a huge wad of wads of cash, over $4,000 in the many wads of cash. "Course I pack them in different wads so that the dumb simple minded humans don't get all paranoid and trip b@lls on account of a teenager having that much cash in their pockets." She puffed.
Unknown finished and smiled, unzipping his cloak for the first time since ever meeting Cleveland and dropping his cloak aside, the younger teenage male birdkid could finally see Unknown's true appearance. He carried his cloak over to his sleeping bag and bundled it up as a pillow and laid on his sleeping bag comfortably.
-
Cleveland chuckled, opening his wings. "Man, it's been so long since I could safely stretch these babies." he said with happiness, loving the feeling of not having to hide who he was from these guys.
-
Catherine giggled. "So what are your powers? I've got night vision, and 9 senses..... Unknown has Shadow Powers, Mind-reading, and Revival." She said. "What are your powers?" She tilted her head.
-
Cleveland furrowed his eyebrows, thinking. "Well, my body can grow back lost limbs and and heal broken bones in a matter of seconds. I can duplicate any movement perfectly by just watching it, even if it's just once on TV. And I can also replace limbs and body parts with that of something, or someone, else." he explained.
