• Siren Mortem Ipsum sat on top of a large tree stump, looking out into the distance. It was night, the sky dark except for the specks of rebellious stars peeking through the thick, group of clouds that cloaked area above. Silence filled the forest, only broken by a crickets chirp or a reckless rabbit stepping on a twig. Despite the airy setting, the mackerel tabby looked calm. Her stance gave the impression of waiting for something, or perhaps someone...

The elite trainee had spent the last moon whispering in others ears, using her charm to lure them into listening to what she had to say. She was tired of having to wait for the senior members to teach her how to fight. The daughter of Sora and Lorem wanted to become strong as soon as possible, and she knew she was not alone. The strategic young cat had noticed the bickering of her fellow trainees, and she was ready grant them there wish. They were going to train, with or without their mentors.

Now all she had to do was wait.

  • Kal slid through the night like a blade through butter, smooth and silent. She wore a thin necklace with a small black bead in the center, something she thought would go with the whole 'sneaking around in the dead of night' thing. Halting in front Siren, the small she-cat nodded her head in recognition.

Toph Simul Stamus is a relitivly new trainee, being not too old. She hadn't really bickered about her mentor, Fang, who was actually her stepfather as well. There was no real purpose in going this way, there was no more training to be done today anyway. As she padded by, she spotted her 'friend' Siren. "Hello!" She mewed in a friendly manner.

Technically she wasn't yet a trainee since she had no mentor but she was around trainee age. However, the tabby had showed no interest in training, she hadn't really showed much interest in anything at all. The young daughter of Anthrax and Sacrifice and Capone had become increasingly distant and quiet over the past few moons, something that had sparked the worry of her parents lately. Capri looked at Toph, he was a Simul Stamus just like her and she tried to shoot him an awkward smile. [/fancypost]

    Toph is a girl XD

Toph saw the other Elitist shoot her an awkward smile. Do I know her...? The small chocolate tabby shrugged mentally before returning the favor with an equally awkward smile. She let her gaze rest on the other cat for only a few heartbeats longer before slowly bringing it back to Siren, whom the daughter of Rose met already.

  • ooc: I assume by the other cat you meant Kal, right? XD

ic: Kal's ears twitched and her head cocked to one side as she returned Toph's gaze, minty optics gleaming brightly in the darkness. "Hello," She mewled quietly, running a paw over face.

With a frown she sat her rump down and busied herself by licking her paws. Anything to avoid striking a conversation, which for her would ultimately end badly, either becoming to awkward to continue or Capri snapping at the others. What had gotten into the young cat lately? Her terrible mood had scared away all her friends which lead her to become even more distant around others. Clearing her throat she asked bluntly, "What are we doing?" Her eyes were still trained on the ground as the aimed the question at no one in particular, her voice dull and quiet.[/fancypost]

She had watched from above as usual, her limbs dangling off the beams that rested above these trainees's heads. Why did they all happen to gather in this particular place at one time, without any instruction? That was just creepy. Spadix didn't exactly like how Siren was the only one there at first; the Mortem had obviously used her mind powers to get all these trainees here.

"Yo, Siren!" the tortoiseshell called down, peering over the wooden structure which she rested on. "Mind explaining all of this?"

Bitterly, Astuzia Naem padded forward at the scent of other, gorgeous blue eyes slitted as the stalked gracefully to the other trainees. She had a pounding headache, a constant voice pestering her around that went by the name of 'Lookingglass' and not to mention the fact that the collapsing mansion had made her fur a tangled mess.

Oh, yeah. And she was sharing her body with Imperia Mortem, the little brat. Great. Often times, she didn't have control of her own body and she absolutely despised it. "What is everyone doing?", her musical voice chimed in irritation, still as beautiful and silky as ever, despite her awful mood.

  • Siren flicked her tail, counting the cats in front of her. It wasn't a bad number, more than she would have thought for their first meeting. With and air of importance, the mackerel began to speak. "As fellow trainees of the Elite, I am sure you will all agree it is difficult time to properly train with your mentors. That is, if you have one at all," she paused to allow her words to sink in. "We are the next generation, we must be strong! Therefore, I propose we start a training session with just us."

  • Kal's ears twitched and a small smile stretched across her delicate face. "Sounds good to me," She didn't exactly agree with what Siren was saying, as her mentor, Frenchresistance Fidelis, spent a whole lot of time with her, but it would be good to get some extra training in and learn some new moves from her fellow trainees.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px dashed white; text-align: center]

s [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px dashed white; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 7pt]The second that Mortem started speaking, she wanted to claw her own ears off.

Just the way she spoke was flooding with arrogance, narcissism, as if Siren was higher up on the food chain than those around her. Not that Spadix was any better; this just gave her an excuse to speak out. "And why should we listen to you, Mortem?" Spadix inquired from above, spitting the last word and shooting a scowl down to the others. "Training with cats our age and skill level isn't going to make us better."
  • Russianczar hopped over to the group, catching the last words of the conversation. "Not true," the canine muttered. "Every bit helps. 'Sides, we aren't all exactly the same." Truth be told, he found fighting..awkward. He was built for it, came from a family of fighters, but being a klutz didn't really help. Cursing at himself for speaking, Czar headed over to Toph, hoping she wouldn't push him away.

"I agree with Siren." The Simul Stamus informed, using her more direct voice, which friends and close relatives didn't often get to hear. Her personality wasn't fully developed quite yet, but you could easily tell this one has a strong sense of loyalty. "My mentor isn't terrible, but I do think we should do extra training to speed things up. And no, we all aren't on the same level. Some of us have been training longer than others, and things may come easier to us if we are shown by someone our size or age." You wouldn't think b the seriousness on Toph's face that she'd recently stopped calling her mom 'momma.'

  • "Exactly," mewed Siren nodding her head toward Toph and Czar. She was glad at least some cats she invited had enough brains to understand what she was saying. "I am not saying our mentors don't do a good job, but we should want more of ourselves. By training with each other, we can learn different strategies that were taught to us individually." Siren turned to look at Spadix. "Of course, if you don't think the extra training is worth your time than you are free to love. I am sure no one will keep you."

Great. Just what she needed- her head was already hurting from the extra two voices, and now they wanted to bruise her beautiful body too. Lovely. But, considering her lack of a mentor was an issue, she was sort of being forced to participate.

Just keep yourself in my head, alright?, Astuzia Naem snapped at Imperia inwardly, hoping the spirit would hear her. The last thing either of us needs is to get the royal shit beaten out of us because you want up front and center.

If they did, that could be either for better or worse. The kit didn't really know that she was invisible at the moment, she didn't have time to practice her power. She was pretty young, so young that she didn't even get her middle name yet. Sighing internally as she noticed that she had gone see-through again, the white she-cat trained her yellow and copper eyes on Siren.

  • -Dante made his way towards the group with purpose. Yes he did have a mentor but he was constantly being separated from Roseblood due to important assignments to benifit the Elite. Thus resulting in impropper training, though it was not her fault, tge Guard was merely doing her job. He himself thought that Siren's idea was a fairly good one. You could only get but so far when training with yourself and he was nit one to slack behind in his teachings. Taking yet another step the tom stood within the group, lowering his hackles into a sitting position-

While Calix had picked up odd bits of information here and there, he didn't have an official mentor even though he'd been a trainee for what seemed like forever to him, so the young tom thought that this little training session was a pretty good idea. "I don't think it will hurt," the slender tabby mewed pleasantly, coming to sit besides Dante.

  • Kal's ears twitched as heard her friend Calix's voice. He was her friend, right? As far as she knew, they were destinted to be friends! It was obvious: Cal, and Kal! Well... It was obvious to a crazy cat, such as herself. Shaking those thoughts away, she bounced over to the trainee. "Hey twin!" Kal flashed him a wide grin, green optics sparkling. "We're twins 'cause we almost have the same name. See? Get it?" She mewled a little to loudly, blushing underneath her fur when she realized she'd spoken too loud.
