Annie shook her head,"You shouldn't be apologizing to me." She whispered, not meeting his eyes,"It should be me apologizing to you. I was just confused, and thought that I was in love with both of you and then I freaked out and then he came up on me and I went with it, but... Jesse's really just a giant a$$hole, which I'm sure that we've estabilished by now." She shook her head and finally looked over at him. Wait, she had just started speaking out a random apology, but she'd missed it... Had he said that he... loved her? She was stunned into silence for a moment,"I thought you hated me now." She admitted.

Annie was silent for such a long time that it could easily be thought that she had fallen asleep, but after a long while she spoke at last,"I love you, too." She admitted in a croaky whisper, and for some reason she could feel her eyes begin to tear up again. Don't cry, Annie. She mentally told herself, looking back away from Darren's face,"I love you too." She repeated without thinking,"And that's why I freaked out when you got so... violent and... and mad. I didn't mean to hurt anybody...."

Annie watched Darren go before turning back around and staring at the ceiling, lost in thought. Darren was so much more gentle than Jesse with her both verbally and physically. While Jesse pushed her around and teased her with his words, Darren was understanding and didn't tease her unless it was in a playful manner. While Jesse's kisses were passionate and hard, Darren's were gentle and stolen moments. Why was she even still comparing the two? She knew that Jesse was a jacka$$. "Ugh." She grumbled, sitting up on the bedside and running her fingers through her hair.

Annie, after a while of nervously laying down, pacing, or sitting, finally stepped quietly out of the guest room and looked blankly around before stepping into the bathroom. She locked the door and looked in the mirror. There were dark circles under her eyes from her new sleeping schedule. She sighed and pulled a rubberband off of her wrist, putting her hair up into a messy ponytail. She always did that when she got her migraines which she had right at that moment. After several moments of letting the migraine die down a little, she slipped back into the guest room and leaned back against the wall, lost in thought.

Annie blinked. Werewolves? Holy crap, how many fairytale creatures were there in existence that she'd only ever heard of in stories? She looked back and forth between each boy before nodded slowly as what they were saying slowly caught up to her,"So what you're saying is that Jesse's an idiot. I think everybody knows that, but what are we going to do if you have some angry werewolves out to kill you?" She asked, looking over at Jesse, and then back at Darren with a questioning look within her wide eyes.

Annie nodded slowly, her head spinning both with a mixture of their words and the horrible migraine that she'd had since Darren left the room. The migraine was quickly leaving her system, but she was still as confused as ever. "Got it." She said with a firm nod,"Deny, deny, deny." She confirmed, crossing her arms over her chest. Maybe she wasn't a vampire, but she could sure as hell take care of herself if things came down to it.

Annie took a moment, but when she realized that Jesse's words were directed at her, she shook her head,"No, I just have this horrible migraine. It's getting better now." She explained bluntly with a small shrug, pushing herself away from the wall and tightening her ponytail as she began to pace nervously around the room, a new habit that she'd picked up that very day. She paused and looked over at Darren then back over to Jesse. What if the werewolves were feeling violent and just attacked them instead of trying to speak? She hoped that this wasn't the case. She didn't know much about vampires and being injured, but she did know that nobody was invincible. She wasn't quite sure what she would do without either of the boys, to be honest. Even the annoyingly cheeky Jesse.

Annie shook her head,"This may come as a surprise to the two of you, but I am, in fact, a human girl. I have a bunch of things to worry about. For example, whatever shall I wear when the werewolves come?" She said sarcastically, and then got serious again,"But seriously, I don't want either of you to get hurt. Maybe Jesse, a little, but not to the point of nonexistence or anything." She said, throwing a small smirk in Jesse's direction before going over to stand by Darren.

Annie turned around and tipped her head slightly to the side when she heard Darren yawn. "You're tired." She commented, frowning. He needed his sleep, even in the situation that they were in,"You should get a little rest, Darren." She didn't want to be left alone with Jesse any more than Darren wanted her to be left alone, but she felt bad. It seemed ilke Darren never got to sleep, and if anything bad were to happen he would need to be well rested. She glanced over at Jesse for a split moment, wondering what was even going through his head. Meh, probably nothing,"I can handle Jesse and his idiocy on my own for a little bit." She said with a small grin playing on her face.

Annie rolled her eyes,"Not in the mood for your crap, Jesse." She grumbled, her face reddening as she looked away. Honestly, she kind of wished that she hadn't asked Darren to go and sleep. Jesse could be so unpredictable, and she was unsure as to whether or not he was in a mood. She looked up at him and crossed her arms over her chest, at something of a loss for words which created something of an awkward silence.
