  • Moonstream watched the fearsome tom. Perhaps Stoneclaw should have drowned him in the stream, but, this was fine too. She did'nt like the feeling of being a bystander, but this was her mate and this cat killed her mate's brother, who was a loyal cat and a friend to all the clan. She even recalled Shiningwater always mooning over him, and Shiningwater hated Reedfeather when Berrysplash was killed. She shuddered at the thought of if Shiningwater had been the cat killed. She could'nt imagine the fury and grief Stoneclaw felt.

  • Stoneclaw gave a last slash to the bloodied tom's face and bared his teeth in a deadly snarl, making sure rage was the last thing Reedfeather ever saw. "Say 'hi' to the Dark Forest for me, fox-heart." his orange eyes ablaze with fury and malice. As Reedfeather took his dying breath and closed his green eyes, all of RiverClan gasped after seeing what the dark tom did to his Clanmate. "St-stoneclaw... murderer..." Whiteripple, his former apprentice stammered.

  • Moonstream looked at her clanmates, her blue eyes glazing with an unreadable expression. Shiningwater spat on the ground. "A murder now!? This cat does not belong in Riverclan!" She spat, her eyes glazed with anger and confusion. "Did Reedfeather belong after killing Berrysplash?" Moonstream hissed. Shiningwater froze, and stared at her. "Exactly!" Moonstream lashed her tail. "Berrysplash did'nt deserve to die the way he did." Shiningwater mewed quietly. "Reedfeather did'nt deserve it, either!" Stormpelt's voice came out in a short, hatred filled, spat. "Im telling Troutstar!" With that, the light gray tom turned and dashed off.

  • Stoneclaw raised his head and pinned his ears against his dark gray head at his Clanmates glares and bared his teeth before padding into a shaded area, making his eyes gleam in the darkness. 'Reedfeathers dead now. Why do I still feel vengeful? Does Moonstream think I made a mistake of killing him?' His mind raced as his glare turned to worry when Troutstar emerged with a stern look on his face.

  • Moonstream watched Troutstar emerge, and stood up quietly. Shiningwater was staring at Troutstar as well, and Moonstream had remembered well the same vengefull look in her sister's eyes before had faded into pure worry and satisfaction. It was obvious to about every cat in the clan her sister had liked Berrysplash. When the tom died, the longed to kill Reedfeather. She had found her sister stalking the tom in the night's darkness one time, her claws extended and her eyes gleaming. Moonstream had shoved Shiningwater into a bracken bush, and told her off. Returning to the real world, Moonstream glanced at Stoneclaw her blue eyes misty with worry.

  • Troutstar scanned his Clan and finally found Stoneclaw as the dark gray male padded out of his shadows. "Stoneclaw. I see Reedfeathers... battered body and turn to you, the one with his blood on your claws. What have you done?" his eyes fixiating on his deputy with a glint that wasnt confusion, nor anger, but the slightest happiness that Stoneclaw caught, no one else. Stoneclaw dipped his head and replied in his very deep meow, "I killed him. I killed Reedfeather to avenge my brother finally." "And why would you... oh, that ice river murder. I vividly remember that." Troutstar padded forward to his deputy. "I am very sorry. I understand, but you may no longer be my deputy, Stoneclaw." The leader of RiverClan smiled lightly at Stoneclaw, confusing him.

  • Moonstream felt delighted that Stoneclaw was not being banished. He would get to stay. Shiningwater smiled lightly beside him, Stormpelt's fur was pricked up and his eyes were blazing with fury. "He killed Reedfeather! He should be banished!" Stormpelt spat. Shiningwater and Moonstream stood up alike, with the same goal. "Reedfeather murdered Berrysplash! Was Reedfeather banished? No!" Shiningwater spat. "Stoneclaw did what was right. Who knows, Reedfeather might have tried to kill someone else, the murderer. Good ridance, I say!" Moonstream added.

  • Stoneclaw smiled back at his leader and then at his mate and her sister. "Berrysplash was his brother. What if it was your brother Whiteripple next, Stormpelt? You would have done the same."Troutstar turned when Stoneclaw stepped forward defensivly, to stand by him and keep him from attacking.

  • Stormpelt glared at Troutstar, his eyes gleaming with hatred. Stormpelt had always thought Troutstar was foolish, when he was the fool. "What if that cat was you best friend?" Stormpelt replied, suddenly he sounded weak. "Reedfeather had always been there for me-he would'nt have killed Whiteripple. He killed Berrysplash for a reason!" Stormpelt sounded strong again. "And that reason was good! Berrysplash deserved to die!" Moonstream knew Stormpelt was only saying this to the defence of Reedfeather, but Shiningwater did'nt care. Shiningwater flung herself at Stormpelt, raking his cheek with her claws as she tackled him. Shiningwater sank her teeth into his scruff, while Stormpelt clawed her pelt in attempt to get her off. Minnowleap grabbed Shiningwater's scruff and tried to seperate Shiningwater from Stormpelt, and eventually they got seperated. Moonstream leaped infront of Stormpelt as Shiningwater flashed out a paw, and she froze before her paw reached her. "Stop this, Shiningwater!" Moonstream bared her teeth. Shiningwater sheathed her claws, and met her sister's glazing eyes. "How could we call eachother a clan if we are attacking and killing eachother?" Moonstream looked at Stormpelt afterwards. The younger warrior faltered by the look in her eyes, and backed away, his tail dragging the ground.

  • Stoneclaw was set off edge at Stormpelts words and bared his teeth, breaking away from Troutstar, "What reason did Reedfeather have to drown my brother in an ice cold river?" He stepped forward, anger clear in his eyes. His tail flicked back and forth as his orange eyes blazed brighter than the sun. The former deputy was aware he would be kicked out if he attacked, so he didnt, only stepped forward till he was a tail length away from the smaller tom.
Larkwing looked over to the comotion, looked at Reedfeathers body and smirked in the darkness of her cave. She padded out into the clearing, watching her brother snarl at Stormpelt, Reedfeathers loyalest friend.

  • Larkwing grunted in amusement at how kittish her brother was being. She would do the same, but no one listens to medicine cats. Her light gray was fluffed in alarm when she finally got a good look at the wounds Reedfeather recieved when she padded up to his bloody, lifeless body. "Oh my... Stoneclaw was really... wow..." She gasped, examining her brother's victim. She shrugged, thinking he deserved it from what he did to poor Berrysplash, her kind and understanding brother.
Stoneclaw ripped another loud deadly sounding snarl and padded back to Moonstream, licking her ear softly before stalking away to a shaded rock, where he could see the river level.

  • OOC: Sure! If Moonstream is fine with having another sister.
Stoneclaw looked back at Reedfeather's battered and lifeless body. "You deserved it, frog-brain. You killed my brother. You never told anyone Berrysplash fell in, because you made it happen. You put the hole in the ice. You should've been down under, not him." He snarled to it, staying quiet.

Soulfeather padded up to Stoneclaw."I'm sorry about Berrysplash."She said.

  • Stoneclaw looked at Soulfeather and nodded, "Berrysplash died like most cats do, from betrayal and cruelty." His orange glare rested on Reedfeather as he turned around.

Moonstream watched Stoneclaw go , her anger still lingering. Stormclaw glared after, but stayed silent under Siningwater's nasty glare. "Shiningwater, end it." Moonstream meowed and her sister dashed out of camp. Moonstream padded over to Stoneclaw. She licked his head affectionately and raced to catch up with Soulfeather. "Shiningwater's grieving." She meowed.
