Dog teeth are rather blunt, and its the bite force that causes them to break skin and draw blood, so what would the point of putting dog teeth over cat claws be, other than looking cool? I mean, lookie :

See how rounded they are compared to
And thats just the dew claw, the other claws are less dull. Cat claws are also shaped better for grabbing and holding onto things, thus making it easier for them to break skin and leave a nasty gash.
Cats don't really use power to attack, more of lots of swift and well placed blows to the face and stomach area, when dogs fight by biting ears, tail and neck. So of course, dog's teeth are better at sinking in from use of brute force than cat's claws are, but cat's claws are better at grabbing things and tearing.
And this is assuming cats can actually force tog teeth over their claws, but I'm not going to get into that.
Am I the only one who sees this as an obvious disadvantage for a cat?
