    Shard did her best to keep up, her paws dragging slightly and her ear still bleeding.


    Dusty turned the corner and jumped over a tree root and spotted the kits. He wasted no time in rushing over, he picked up Claws and placed her on his back "Hold on!" He shouted, he picked up Shard by the scruff, licking her ear before to clean the wound. He smelt fox, and a rougue something... And.. Something else he wasn't sure on.

    Dusty stuck his nose in the air. "I don't know..." He said. "Hold on Claws. I''m gunna run, really fast okay?"
    And with that he took off tearing through the forest, relying on his nose to lead him back to camp, he bypassed the smell of the strangers and went the long way round, he wasn't stupid enough to take these animals alone.
    Finally they reached camp. He dropped Shard off at the Meds, and dropped Claws off at the nursery. "Are you okay?" He asked.
