    Chapter 1
    The Old Village.
Liki, a ten year old girl sat in her bed. When her clock struck 12:00 she was to go to the bakery, to pick up bread, then to the shop to buy flour and medicine. Her mother, Clari, was awfuly sick, so Liki had to care for her. After she tended to her mother, she had to go to the lake, and fill up their jug. Than she was to go to the garden and pick out the carrots.Of corse, because she was ten, she envied the kids who played in the village grounds, with no duties at all. I wish I could play with the village children.. She thought, as her clock struckt twelve and pulled her from her thoughts. She got up, and started to get ready to do her errands.

  • Chapter 1: The Thoughts

A warm, replenishing breeze ruffled the cinder fur of Loki as the translucent door opened. He consumed the sweet taste of fresh air as it did and a brilliant smile crossed his face. His ivory spears shone through his pink maw and his long, muscular legs brought him to the sparkling emerald grass lain in front of him. A beautiful dew was sprinkled on the fronds of flowers in his Two-leg's garden. He examined a crystalline droplet carefully, but specks of dust carried in the wind tickled his nose. The water orb splashed away as he sneezed daintily.

Leaping onto a sodden, brown fence, the metallic tom smiled as he gazed out into an unexplored world. It's green leaves lay on the forest ground and on tall sticks. The suns rays beamed through the canopy, splitting the shadows of the morn. The large, warm star rose in front of his amber eyes and he gazed at the exemplary beauty that spread across the land. Finally, the sun was fully visible and pink and purple clouds stretched across the blue sky.

    Chapter 2
    Butterflies blue and green.

Liki was walking to the bakery when she saw a blue butterfly flap it's wings to a small flower that decorated the bakery. How pretty. She reched her finger out, and it flew to her finger. She walked into the bakery, with her little friend." Hello Maige." Liki smiled. " Do you have any fresh bread today, ma'm?" She asked. Maige smiled. " I have loaved bread and I have traidtional." Liki looked at the money her mother had given her. " I'll have the loaved bread." Liki said. It was cheaper than the traditional. The blue butterfly flew off of Liki's finger onto the counter. " Oh look, what a pretty butterfly. " Maige smiled. Than she opened a empty bird cage that had small flowers in it. The butterfly flew in and Maige smiled again. " Thank you Maige." Liki put down the money on the counter and left to the store. When Liki was outside, she saw a small patch of blue and green butterflies on the flower patch at the bakery. Liki smiled. " They have a nice home." She continued walking to the store, the loaf of bread in her hands.
