    Jaykit let out a mere mewl and pawed his way to the curve of his mother's belly.



    Daisy licked LullabyKit and purred. "Congratulations, Whitewind."

    Shadedkit felt a new being close to her, she tilted her head side ways and gave Jaykit a lick before falling into sweet kitten sleep.

    Jaykit shoved himself right under his Mama's belly. His head sticking out like an extra limb. The small slits where his eyes should be twitched.

    "Thanks, Daisy. You should be having yours any day now." Whitewind said purring. "I think it's time to give them names."


    Lullabykit let out a meow when she was licked.


    Rainwhisker came in with two mice that he had just caught. "Congrats on the kits, sis." He layed a mouse down in front of Daisy and one in front of Whitewind.


    OOC: Rainwhisker in Whitewind's brother, for those of you that don't know that.

    Snowkit woke with quivering cold feet. "Mommy? Mommy where are you?!"

    Daisy stroked her den-mate's side with the tip of her tail and the unborn kits in her stomach gave some kicks which made her yowl quietly. "Oh..Hi Rainwhisker." She blinked her greeting and sniffed at the mice, and plucked one.


    Blueriver padded in with the water-soaked moss in her mouth and dropped it by the queens. "Drink up." She purred.

    "I'm over here Snowkit. I had my kits." Whitewind said to Snowkit. "Thank you, Blueriver." Whitewind said to Blueriver before drinking some of the amazingly sweet water.

    Snowkit looked angry. "I thought I was going to be your ONLY child mommy. If you don't respect me enough to do that.." Snowkit started running with tears in her eyes. "..I'll LEAVE!"

    Shadedkit mewed feebly. She wiggled far from mom and felt cold in lost in her dark silent world.

    "I'll get her." Rainwhisker said. "Snowkit, Snowkit, stop right now!" He said running after her.
    Whitewind watched, tears coming to her eyes. "Come back here."
    Lullabykit crawled closer to her mothers belly for warmth.

    Daisy bit into the moss and let the cool water slither down her dry throat. It felt as if she'd swallowed a batch of feathers. She then took a small bite of her mouse and her mouth watered. She hadn't eaten since this morning! She was too busy.



    Blueriver sighed. "I'm going to go patrol.. I'll be back at dusk." She smiled and padded out of the den and out in the mountains.



    Jaykit's small, pink mouth stretched into a yawn

    Rainwhisker caught up with her and she scratched him. "Get away from me! I never want to see you or her ever again! DO YOU BOTH HEAR ME! I'M AM NOT A TOY TO BE PLAYED WITH! I AM A WARRIOR! I AM A SURVIVOR!" Snowkit ran even further so Rainwhisker couldn't catch her.

    Shadedkits mews faded as she began to shiver, she knew something was wrong.

    Snowkit turned back. "AND MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR KITS BETTER!" Snowkit shot a glance at Shadedkit.

    Whitewind dragged Shadedkit back towards to nest.
    Rainwhisker ran after her again. "Snowkit at least let me explain!"
    Lullabykit woke up and began to drink more milk.

    [font=verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif]Shadedkit nestled in, glad to be warm with her mother, but she felt something was wrong still, she could feel her mothers anxiety. [/font]

    She stopped and turned around. "Explaining is for those who need to be explained, who art thou too complicated. Now, if you'll excuse me.." Snowkit smiled and thought of how clever her words had been and started running again.

    Jaykit's small, stubby tail flicked with confusion. Who are they talking to? He thought to himself. Of course, his eyes were still closed, and he had no clue what was going on. The only thing he relied on was his senses so far, he didn't need to see!



    Daisy sighed and rested her chin on Whitewind's flank. "Kits will be kits.. I remember when my Mother's second litter came, and believe me.. I was NOT satisfied.." She purred, a hint of amusement existed in her tone. "She'll come back.. Don't worry.."

    "It's ok...Shadedkit. Yes that would be great name for you." Whitewind said perking up. "And you'll be...Jaykit." She said looking at the only tom cat. "And you'll be...Bluekit." She said looking at the on that looked like Blueriver. "And finally, you'll be...Lullabykit." S he looking at the last one.


    Rainwhisker ran after her again. "Ok, Let me tell you what happened."

    Shadedkit wiggled next to Jaykit, she wanted to tell her mother to not worry and solve what ever was wrong, but alas words had not come to her yet as she was only a few minuets old, she olny tried to comfort her so she licked her mother slightly.
