Hope took some suitcases and walked back to camp. She set them down n the ground. "Tada!" She said, sitting down on a log.

Jessica nodded but then shook her head "Weres it's mom?"
-
"I don't know." he admitted. Kyle dropped a suitcase by him.
-
Hope sighed. "Gosh, I'm bored."
-
Jessica sighed "If this was only a videogame" she huffed imagining her collection of guns.
-
"Umm, Charles, I think this is yours." Kyle said, out of breath. Charles opened up his suitcase. He smiled, and picked up his knife. At the moment, a huge leopard came tearing out of the trees. "Guys, watch out, it's the baby's mom!" he screamed. He shoved them all into the cave, then disappeared outside. A loud thwak came. When Kyle finally came out, he saw Charles standing over the leopard, a machate in it's neck.
-
Jessica screamed and ran inside with the cub. She looked out of the cave "Murderer" she screamed at Charles as she turned away and begun to cry.
-
"Jessica, please, I was just defending myself!" he cried out, staring after her. He slumped down. He loved Jessica, he didn't want her to cry! "Please, I didn't mean to, Jessica," he sobbed.
-
Jessica continued to cry but begun to lightly punch Charls chest. After a bit she just curled up into a small ball in his arms and continued to cry.
-
Charles took the punches easily. He pulled Jessica tighter to him, burying his head in her hair.
-
Jessica continued to cry "If you just left the cub alone" she pleaded.
-
"I-I'm so sorry, Jessica," he finally stammered out. He finally got up, and went inside the cave. He lay down on the floor, crying himself to sleep.
-
"Wuss" Jessica mumbled as she begun to make some arrows.
-
Charles at daybreak walked to the end of the cave. There, he found a secret entrance covered by ferns. He crept through it and into the open. Stripping himself of his clothes and wading into the creek, he began taking a bath with some soap in his luggage. After he was done, he wandered into the forest with his machate and looked for other animals to capture. When he finally returned he had an injured wolf in his hands, with four pups following behind. He tied the injured wolf to a tree growing in the cave, left it some rabbit meat, and lifted it into a comfortable bed made in his large suitcase out of blankets.
-
Hope turned away from the scene and went to the lake. She slipped out of her shoes and socks and stuck her feet in the water. She wiggled her toes and swished her legs, making little swirls and ripples in the water.
-
Kyle followed Hope.
-
Hope didn't notice him. She sighed and looked at her broken reflection in the churning water. Who she saw was a girl seemingly happy, just sad at the moment. But what she was inside was a different story.
-
Kyle walked up to Hope, and gently put his hand on her shoulder.
Charles played with the wolf pups while their mom rested. "I'll name you Harry," he said to a brown pup. "I'll name you Amber," he said to a golden one. "And I'll name you Victor," he said to a silver one.
-
Jessica walked up to Charles and sat down in his lap. "I'm sorry about earlier" she mumbles as she kissed his cheek.
-
Charles cheeks turned red, and he faced her. Hugging her, he pulled her into a longer kiss.
