A smile, a faint one, appered in her face for a moment. Then she said"Weren't you going to teach me why?"

"it's quite simple, humans call it....wrong place at the right time" he said and looked at her, "portals are random, open in untraceable areas....we never know where well end up" he said and smiled, "quite easy to understand"

She just nodded, and said"Yet... No one expect the town notices that this happens."

"People that survive are assumed crazy...yes it is unfortunate for them" he said and shrugged then took off his glasses and looked at her, "You are a finer one moong females..." he said.

She blushed, and shook her head. Her glasses where still on her face, and not dirty. She said"No, I don't think I am."

She shook her head, her blush deepening. "I've met girls more beautiful then me, yet you claim I am more."

He took her to a large dining room and he waved a hand and a chair pulled out for her, "Favorite dish?" he asked.
