Writing Contest {Undecided Prize}

    The prize for the writing contest is undecided at this moment but once there are a few entries I'll get a prize up as soon as I can.
    The subject I want you to write about is;
    Anything! I'm giving you free run, you could write about Warrior Cats, You could write about dragons or even humans! I don't really care. And you can write in whatever style you prefer.

    Light trudged through the forest, staring blankly at the barren lands.


    "Are we there yet?" The black bear cub asked her older sister, Flame.


    "No, we're not. But we'll get there." Flame told the taller but more vulnerable, younger bear.


    Light continued to walk. She was thirsty. Ever since she get three metal legs, she'd been dehydrated. Soon, the sight of a river caught her eye.


    Flame saw the river too, and watched Light as she rolled in the freshwater, trying to catch the little fish that had been in them, a smile curving up her jaw.


    Flame's ear twitched as she heard a rustle in the bushes.


    "Run Light! RUN!!" She roared. She whipped around, her two metal legs and her two normal ones finally in sync as she faced the two-legged creature.


    First, Flame passed out, then Light.


    Light's Point of View


    Light woke up in a metal trap, with strange creatures throwing food at the little cub. She growled, and leaped out of the cage. She raced out of the gates, not looking back. She looked up into the light, stretched a gleaming silver paw out, and promised to herself.


    I promise I'll find Flame.


    Flame's Point of View


    Flame woke up to lots of noise and chaos. She flattened her small ears, knowing she wouldn't be able to find Light for awhile. She had to get out though. She leaped over the metal bars, ran through crowds of two-legged creatures, and raced out, not looking back. She looked to the sky and stood up, reaching a shining metal paw out. Then, she made a promise to herself.


    I will find Light. And next time, I'll protect her twice as much, for she is my little sister.
