  • RushingReed sighed, and looked back up. "It's not that. His own mother didn't want him. She tried to slaughter him right when he was born, because he was smaller then the others, and sick. She didn't want to have to put up with him, so the night of a blizzard, she left him out of our territory in the woods to die. He was never part of our pack till them. Ragged, our old alpha, found him in the woods, after 4 days. He was close to death, and no one wanted the little scrap. Only Ragged found a heart to love the thing. Wolves have come to respect them, only because Ragged took him in. In his old back, no one stood up to keep him alive. Not even his siblings."

  • RushingReed lean over. "Sure you don't need help with that wound?" she barked If dark comes near, CyclonesHowl with keep him off." she reassured.

  • She uneasily came into the camp, for she had not been in a camp in 3 years, Fellow wolves in 2. She looks around and sees families. She looks as a pup scampers out of the den, She finds a small smile on her lips.

  • He wiggled a little, and dashed under her belly and through her paws. "I'm Tiny!" he pipped up, his little white spots over his eyes surrounded the proud and fearless grey eyes. He tried to match her height, but even one his hind legs, he only came up to the bottom of her chest.

  • He smiled, taking no offense to that, but he barked, and when his mamas called him back, a elegent white she wolf, Tiny whinnied, but jumped up and dabbed his nose to hers. "Bye!" he barked loudly and raced away

  • "Goodbye Tiny!" She looks at who she is guessing is his mother, and shies away because her dirty white coat was not nearly as beautiful.

  • The mother wolf smiled toward her, and flicked her smooth and glossy tail. She even bent down a little to dip her head, and when Tiny raced back over, she chuckled as he yapped, and two other puppied came out and tackeled him.

RushingReed blinked, and looked ahead. "Nettlethorn!" she called. She looked back over her soulder. Here, all elders get fancy names. Mine was just Reed, his cyclone, and hers Nettle." she said, pointing to a thin framed elder.

  • Cyclones howl looked over his shoulder. "She's gonna clean you up." he barked.

Dark was a little ways off, playing with Tiny and his siblings. His tail was wagging happily as they chased him, pretending he was a badger and tried to pounce on him To make it a fair game, he slowed down, and began to lumber like a badger, and even bellowed when they pounce on him.

  • Nettlethorn flicked her large bushy tail. "You better clean yourself up." she said sternly, nodding to her filthy pelt. "If the pack see's you like that.." She mixed a few leaves together and mashed them into a pulp. "You will never hear the end of it."
