She shook her head, "No lets stay for a little while longer, we need breaks from Gingerkit, Beechkit and Smokekit."

"yeah" he meowed "but we can work our way up to longer breaks, I know it is hard to be away from them" he chuckled.

Goldenlily nodded, "Yeah its hard to stay away from our nosy furballs." She laughed.

He purred "race you back" he giggled then took off

"Hey!" She raced off after him, she became very slow since she entered the nursery.

Sandclaw stopped 2 tail-lengths away from the enterance to the nursery, he was going to let her win

Goldenlily panted and stopped beside him, "Im hungry." She mewed tiredly.

"Go on in, I'll get you something" he meowed as he turned and walked away

She nodded, "Thank you!" She called after him and padded into the nursery, "Where are my three beautiful and handesome kits?"Gingerkit bounded over to her mother and ruhbed against her leg, "I missed you Mama! Wheres Daddy?" She looked around for her father, "He'll be in, in a second dont worry." She licked her daughters head, "Go play with the others for now." She purred and watched her bounce away toward the others.

Sandclaw came in with 2 mice and gave one to each of the queens "where are my beautiful babies" he purred

Goldenlily licked his cheek, "Thank you."
Gingerkit looked up from the the pile of fur, "Daddy!" She screeched.

Sandclaw purred "hello, have you been good?" He licked her head and sat down
Beechkit ran over to golldenlilly, stumbling only once "mama, you smell different" he meowed confused

Goldenlily purred, "Yes I do, because I was out in the forest. It has lots of diffrent smells." She licked his head.
Applebreeze looked up, "Yes they were good." She smiled, "They were little angels from StarClan."
Gingerkit laid down on her father paw, "Yeah, Yeah we were good!"

"Comfy?" He purred and began to bathe her

Gingerkit nodded her head then tried to squirm away, "Stop I dont need a bath!" She squealed.

"I know" he purred "but I knew it would make you move" he flicked her ear with his tail and chuckled

Gingerkit pouted, "But your paw is comfy!" She protested.

"Ok" he purred "but only because You are as beautiful as your mother" he glanced at goldenlilly and leaned down to her daughter's ear "I could never say no to her either" he whispered
