  • "Accidents happen," said Asher with an awkward smile.
"Forgive and forget, right, Aura?" The stoat nudged Tillo. "Isn't she funny...I mean me. I'm funny; hilarious! Seeing the pups is a joke in itself."

  • "What?" Tillo felt his tail crink up.
    What did Asher do?
He chuckled along despite not understanding, nodding at Aura.
"Yeah, if you could bring him..."

Embranon growled and tried to push past Aura.
"I said let me see! Sto'mfern can't even play yet, but I can, so I should go out!"

  • Mia jerked back when Papillion was shoved away from her, trying to keep some distance between her and Viitar. Before the knife could catch her in the neck, someone suddenly tacked him. Mirabella? She was okay! Mia quickly began to scramble back away from Viitar. She let out a noise of surprise when she felt him grab at her. She jerked back, trying to wiggle away from him. Hearing another vermin speak, suggesting to Viitar that he make her give him the Abbey in exchange for her life, Mia glanced towards Talisa and Feliz for a moment, feeling torn about what to do. Looking towards Viitar, she spoke, "And what about the others in the Abbey? Will you let them leave unharmed?"

When the vermin horde came into sight, Slade ducked into the shadows without making a sound. Hearing Hail speak, his ears twitched. "I can," he answered, his voice just loud enough for Hail to hear. "Viitar's got Mia still. He has a blade to her throat. He wants her to give up the Abbey in exchange for her life." He could see a she-wolf and rabbit there. He had seen them at Redwall, but he couldn't reacall their names. Slade glanced towards Hail. "Do you want to jump in, or hang back a little longer?"

Juniper led Natalia back to the dining hall so they could gather up some food. She cut some slices of bread, gathered up some scones, as well as gone some of each of spread and jam to carry up. "Here you can can carry this tray," she told Natalia, passing it to the dibbun, who seemed happy to try and help. Juniper kept any knives for spreading on the tray for the tea, that way they wouldn't be on Natalia's tray just in case the dibbun dropped it. After pouring three glasses of tea and putting a jar of honey on the tray, Juniper lifted it. "Alright, they'd everything. Let's head back to Aura and the others." The mousemaid led the way out of the room and began to make her way back down the hall towards the room. Natalia followed behind, carefully carrying her tray.

  • Viitar laughed, quietly at first until it grew and resulted in Papillion shaking him by the shoulders to snap him out of it.
The rat towered over Mia, flicking his tail side to side like a whip.
"Oh, ya know...Of course not. I wouldn't hurt a whisker on their pretty likkle faces long as they left and never came back."
He grinned crookedly as he moved closer to her.
"Abbess, ya trust me, don't ya? I'm related to Eliza...Scartooth..."

  • Asher smirked, watching a cloud of cold breath spiral up and away.
Tillo was easy enough to manipulate.
He could get used to this; having somebody on his side again.
    Finally!
It felt like forever for the stoat.

  • Aura shook her head. "I didn't say you couldn't get him yourself, Tillo; but Asher isn't allowed to be with the pups. He killed their father." Sure, she said it quietly, but it was clear to her that Tillo either didn't understand or didn't care about what Asher did. The stoat was lucky Talisa hadn't killed him.

Talisa would've moved forward had she not noticed the slightest signal from Mirabella to hold off. The rabbit had both loped ears perked forward rather than hanging back. It wasn't easy to tell how a lop-eared rabbit felt, considering the ears weren't up. "Bringing up your relations doesn't exactly hold promise on your end, Viitar." Talisa said.

After watching alongside Slade, he tilted his head to the side. "Not yet. We'll let Viitar play the leader role while he still has it.." If he knew anything about vermin, or anyone for that matter, it was that they needed to feel like they were in control of the situation. Take it away from them at the wrong time and it would be like dealing with a cornered, desperate, and angry animal.

  • ".....Oh..." Tillo blinked slowly and then switched back to his usual grin as if unfazed.
"Heh, I don't think he's gonna kill me, so I'll just be getting Stormfern then."
The wearet slunk around Aura and opened the door, allowing Embranon to come skidding out behind them.

"Storm's Dad almost stepped on me!" He yowled, scampering in a circle between Asher and Aura.
Then he halted and threw them both a pitiful look.
"You won't step on me, will ya, Asha' and Aura?"

Tillo threw a paw to his face inside the room.
I hope Stormfern grows up to be less obnoxious than that.

    Viitar curled his lip.
"Why would I backstab her if I got what I want? All she has to do is give her word an' then come back with me to tell everybeast to leave, and then actually do it. I'm not going out of my way to screw this up if it's already falling into my paws!"

  • "It isn't like Asher's jealous of something you have...or is he? Who knows." Aura said after stepping back slightly to let Tillo go in the room to get his newborn. After glancing at Asher a moment, she let her gaze fall on Embranon. He honestly seemed to be the most rambunctious of the pups. "I can't speak for Asher, but I can safely say I won't be stepping on you. It won't be long before you and your siblings get bigger than me."

"Handed to you, more like. And I didn't say that you would backstab her...I only said that your relations don't make your word any more promising or truthful." Talisa didn't shift from her spot despite the ease she could have in slaughtering the vermin where they stood. But she needed to be at least somewhat civil about the approach.

  • OOC-
Quivvy caught the Undertale disease! Quick, get help! ;)
    IC-
    "Big? Yeah!"
Embranon looked very excited for that.
"But right now I'm small and I can go all over the place!"

    Viitar's eye narrowed.
"This is Mia's business anyway, Wolf."

  • OOC-
    Cringe, call an abulance!
    Cringe: "No."
    Why?
    Cringe: "I have it too."
What did you think he was doing all this time?
    IC-
"I couldn't do that if I wanted to, Embranon." Asher grinned, lifting a paw to cover his eyes.
"Oh, and Aura, you can feel free to tell Talisa, when she gets back, that I'm not seeing her pups. Not a glimpse."
The stoat's face became humorless however when Aura accused him of being jealous of Tillo.
Was she trying to turn Tillo against him?
"I am not jealous of Tillo," he hissed, glancing at the door while he awaited Tillo's return.
    "So shut your trap."

  • Tillo scooted past the door with his Dibbun in his arms, grinning nervously as he stumbled past Embranon and Aura and over to Asher.
    "Who's jealous of what?"

    OOC-
    Hhahaa.
Also, Quiver, you forgot Frill! ;D

  • Mia honestly really didn't trust Viitar one bit. It was hard to trust the creature that had been torturing her. But, rather than say that, she remained silent as Viitar and Talisa spoke, her gaze flickering over to Talisa. Honestly, Mia could agree, but she wasn't sure if the others in the Abbey would. She may be the Abbess, but they didn't have to agree with everything she said or did. She could refuse, because without her he had no bargaining chip, but the fact he had lost his temper and had nearly killed her earlier proved that may not work. "Fine," Mia said finally, "As long as you hold true to your side of the bargain, you may have Redwall." But do you really think you'll keep it long? No vermin horde has kept Redwall for long.

Slade's dipped his head to Hail to show he understood. He looked back ahead towards the scene unfolding, watching with perked ears. He was quiet as the wolf and Viitar spoke, just waiting for Hail's next order. The rat's ears twitched when Mia finally spoke.

  • Viitar's eye widened.
    It was a shock.
A true shock. Something had gone his way, he wasn't losing an eye or his dignity over it.
"...T-then get up an' come tell your friends to get out." he stuttered, grinning shakily.
He began to walk and swayed on his paws.

    Papillion steadied him.
"Careful, don't let the excitement rob you of your sense!"

  • OOC: This was Frill's last response to Scartooth back on page 979, Broken, hehe. ::)

Fire just made Frill think about the Tree Circle, or it would've if her brain wasn't so foggy and confused. "Sure. Fire sounds nice and..warm." Moving, walking, as painful as it felt, was warming her up already. But the cold still beckoned her, still tugged at her to go the other way and leave the world to itself.

    Undertale is awesome!

IC: "Asher is jealous of you, Tillo." Aura said, smirking at Asher after she shifted slightly due to Embranon's quick little movements. "And I'll be sure to let Talisa know that you at least got to see one of your favorite pups of the litter while she was gone."

"This is everybody's business you idiot because it concerns everyone that lives in that Abbey. But who am I kidding, it's not about anybody but you and your free pass to Redwall..." Talisa said, finding it difficult to actually feel terrified or shocked that Mia agreed to give up Redwall. She'd not always wanted to stay at Redwall, and maybe this would be a good time to start considering the fact that Redwall wasn't always such a great home. Vermin wanted it all the time because...who knew.

If Hail could've mentally handled it, he would've liked to take up Viitar's little hatchet as a home now that it looked like vermin would have Redwall again. But the darkness underground wasn't what it once was for him. A piece of him, granted a very small piece, made him wonder if Asher would stay with the vermin about to move in to Redwall.

  • "Free pass," Viitar laughed as if it dawned on him. He raced a few steps and skidded in the snow. "Yes! C'mon, Papillion, we're gonna have a whole castle an' nobeast will ever bother us again."

The marten grinned uneasily at his friend and nudged Mia.
    "Let's go..."

"Aye, Frill, an' ye need somethin' warm or you'll become snow." Scartooth smirked as he took Frill by the paw and raced down the hill that led to their Abbey.
"Nobeast'll kick ya out, it's jus' me, Aura, the pups an' th' mousemaids..."
He didn't mention Asher nor Maggie.
The less angst the better for Frill.

    Tillo smirked at Asher.
    "Are you?"
    He couldn't imagine why...

  • "Not ever," smirked Asher, though Aura's finishing comment made him pale.
He didn't know what exactly Talisa would do, or what she wouldn't do, or if she would even do anything.
    But...
"Seeing, it's not my fault I'm not blind," said the stoat with an irritated half-smile.

Mitzi burst out the door after Embranon and aimed to tackle him, yowling in annoyance.
"How dareya leave me alone wit' them in there!"

  • Embranon squeaked and went down under his sister, growling and pawing at her.
    "Gerroff, I didn't mean to!"

Tillo shifted, hoping Stormfern would grow up to be calm.

  • Redwall was merely a place of residence, nothing more, and that only now dawned on Talisa. She hadn't wanted to raise her pups there to begin with because vermin craved to take it over all the time. And the pups were older, at least to the point where she didn't have to carry them out since Mia was giving up Redwall. With those thoughts in mind, she started to pad ahead of the vermin group as she was quite aware that they wouldn't kill Mia yet. Mirabella had taken to trailing in behind her, looking uneasy but still focused.

"Snow ain't so bad once you get used to it." Frill murmured whilst pawing at her side where her dagger and its sheath used to be. She might've cared more about the fact that she more than likely would get kicked out if it wasn't for the smallest bit of relief that Scartooth didn't hate her.

"I suppose so." Aura said, shrugging before turning up her little nose slightly when Mitzi came blundering out and plowed into Embranon. How rough could wolf pups get with each other? They were wolves after all, not squirrels or rabbits.
