Sivastar padded out of her den. A soft breeze made her fur get a bit messy, but she didn't mind at all. The she-cat went down to the clearing and greeted any cat of her clan that she saw. The leader sat down near the fresh kill pile and took a mouse to eat.
Starfur woke up, yawning. She shook out the scraps of moss from her fur, and padded outside.
SunsetBloom the deputy, greeted her leader, "Hi SilverStar!" The breeze felt good on her orange tabby fur, and her green eyes shone with excitement for the new day. SunsetBloom grabbed a small vole from the pile, and started eating it.

Sivastar laid down and made herself comfortable. She bent her neck down to eat the mouse. The warm blood filled her mouth. She swiped her tongue over her maw and kept on eating it.

Spottedpaw trotted around. Her fluffy, thick tail sticking up proudly.

The leader finished her mouse and looked around the camp to see if everything was in order. Soon, she had to chose a deputy, but who? The spies and warriors were great and loyal to the clan. Sivastar gazed up at the sky. I hope I could choose a deputy before the time comes, she thought to herself.
"Morning." Starfur greeted Sivastar.
"Hello Starfur," meowed the leader to the medicine cat. "Do you need some herbs to collect?"
"Just a few." Staffer meowed.
"Do you want a warrior to collect them for you?" she asked.

Spottedpaw brought her Mentor, Starfur, some poppy seeds since they were running low.
"I'm fine, I have an apprentice which I can boss around to do that." Starfur meowed, her whiskers twitching. Starfur then turned around, and put the poppyseeds in their proper notch.
Sivastar chuckled and meowed, "Alright, oh bossy one."

Spottedpaw said "Anything else that were running low on Starfur?" looking at the older medicine cat.
Sivastar flicked her tail and padded away to let the two talk. The leader settled down near the fresh kill pile and gazed around the camp.
Starfur turned towards her apprentice, "We're going to go herb collecting, and I'm going to quiz you on the herbs and their uses." She meowed, padding towards the camp entrance.

Spottedpaw said "Okay!" smiling. She bounded after her mentor beaming.
The she-cat flicked her tail and looked up at the sky. The brown tabby stood up and went to her den.
"What is this?" Starfur asked, indicating some goldenrod.

Spottedpaw looked at the goldenrod "That's goldenrod, it is chewed p into a poultice and put on wounds to fight infections" and she smiled.
"Very good!" Starfur congratulated, collecting some.
