    Pearsong padded over to Battlepaw."I hear you need a mentor." she meowed casually.

    Pearsong looked at Moonwatcher kindly."It's fine," she meowed cheerfully, smiling at her.

    "I'm Moon-watcher, Moon for short." She said as she startedto purr. "Who are you guys if you don't mind me asking."

    The young tom dipped his head "Greettings Pearsong Moon-Watcher." He flicked his tail "I'm Battlepaw. And yes I need a mentor." The four scars along his silver black pelt gleamed.

    "Mentor? Oh! That sounds fun!" The white cat said as she smiled. "But what do you need a mentor for?"
    She started licking her left paw as she patiently for a reply.

    Pearsong waited patiently for Battlepaw's answer, and hoped she would be picked, if either she, or Moon, were picked at all.

    "I think I've had a mentor before." Moon-watcher said thoughtfully. "He was pretty old so I didn't learn much."
    She started to flick her tail excitedly. "How about you her your mentor?" She asked Battlepaw as she gestured to Pearsong.

    Pearsong gazed at Moonwatcher, surprised."Really?" she meowed."You would rather me be his mentor, than you?!"

    The white cat smiled and said sincerely, "You seem more capable of the job then me. But I would like to help you guys if you let me."

    "I would be honored if you would help, if Battlepaw's all right with that." Pearsong meowed gratefully, smiling at Moonwatcher.

    Battlepaw watched the two warriors his fluffy tail over his paws. "I need a mentor because its time I started training to fully fight for my clan I am 8 moons older and wish to be taught the ways of the warriors." His copper eyes studied the two carefully mentalling wondering which he should ask when the two came to agreement "If you both wish to mentor me I would not say now." He smiled
