Quickstep finished his meal and yawned

Neo licked the magpie feathers off from her jaws and yawned as well, her head going back and her teeth gleeming.

He smiled at her "Tired?"

Neo nodded reluctantly, standing to arch her back in a stretch.

Quickstep stretched quickly and sniffed the air "Where do you like yo sleep?"

"Well usually in the barn." she paused before adding, "Which is all the way across the lake."

"Do you like trees?" he asked looking up at a tree

"Yeah, as long as I am on a branch that won't snap." she meowed, following his gaze up at the tree.

Quickstep chuckled "Ok" he leaped onto a strong branch

Neo smiled and leaped after him, with one paw infront of the other she moved farther across the branch before sitting.

He purred and laid down on the branch

Neo took one last look at the moonlit gathering before curling up on the branch with her head near his.

Quickstep licked her muzzle and feel asleep

Neo smiled and drifted off.

Neo's eyes flickered open at dawn. She lifted her head and realized she was shivering, her fur glimming with dew.
