Hearing chat and foot steps getting closer the hatchling took the only course of action she knew. She could tell this wasn't Eric from the scent and could be a threat. Vanishing into the shadows, completely the dragoness was now nothing but a dark shadow. Of course being so young this mightn't work, every so often she flickered back into being before once more vanishing. For good measure she remained under the cupboard.

Eric quickly ran in front of the cupboard.
-
"You keep a chicken inside the cupboard, hm?" He asked with a smirk. Vincent would easily get this guy to move out the way if he refused..
-
"Well, see, she laid her eggs in there before she got sick, and it's not wise to touch them..." Eric said quickly.
-
Vincent blinked, then shrugged, not really caring if it was a lie or not.. "Whatever, just get ready to go soon! I'm not going to wait all day!" Vincent stormed outside, the sword in the sheath bouncing around on his side.
-
Remaining silent the hatchling listened to the humans converse. She didn't understand their words but what she did understand was their tones. Eric's nervous and fearful while the other boy's was cocky and confident.
-
Eric wiped his forehead before crouching down and telling the hatchling,"You need to stay quiet. He could've seen you"
-
Bump
-
The hatchling simply flicked her tail. She had reappeared as soon as the Eric came back. Blankly staring up at the human she looked towards the door, as if debating to go investigate the reason Eric seemed so intent on keeping her hidden.
-
"Oh no,you're not!" Eric said,as if he understood her expression.
-
The youthful dragoness looked up at him, cocking her head to the side. Her gaze once more fell upon the door, almost completely ignoring the human. Well almost, she was still in the room... As of yet. Then again she had plenty of reason to just assume that it would be better not to leave.
-
"Hey, hurry up!" Vincent commanded with a low growl, still tapping his foot.
-
"Just stay out of trouble" Eric whispered before going downstairs.
-
Taking a few steps to follow him, her better judgement told her otherwise. Watching the boy leave she jumped on his bed, landing with a light thumb. Stretching out, the little dragon curled up content on the bed.
-
Bump...
-
"Just stay out of trouble" Eric whispered before going downstairs. -
"Hurry up! Last warning!" Vincent called out with anger.
-
Eric muttered something under his breath as he carried his items with him. As soon as he was in front of Vincent,he looked back to see if the dragon followed him.
-
Vincent kept his glare to Eric, but then glanced behind Eric after noticing his eyes. "What are you looking at?" Vincent muttered, in a more demanding tone.
-
"N-Nothing" Eric stuttered.
