She winced from her shoulder and blinked blood out of her eyes, "Some fox-hearted rouges." She spat, her voice full of venom

" are you from a clan? Or are you a loner?" he asked

"Exiled." Pebblestep muttered, "Out of Riverclan." she spat blood into the snow at the name.

" Exiled? For doing what?" he asked keeping his caution high

"Explain to me why this will effect you." Pebblestep retorted, not in the mood to give away her story to some random cat.

" hey your on bloodclan territory, I'm just trying to find out why a tresspasser would come here after being attacked " Scratchfur hissed and unsheathed his claws.

"Maybe she could only get away by running, I didn't try to come here, it was just where I ended up." she retorted, her claws already unshleashed. She knew her chances of fighting again and winning were one out of a hundred.

Pebblestep's claws shleashed and she looked at him impassively. " I won't fight you." she meowed.

Scratchfur sheathed his claws and sat down

"Scrathfur don't hurt this cat he is already injured enough!" mewed smallwhisker.

Pebblestep looked over at the medicine cat that had helped her earlier

"What is your name" mewed Smallwhisker looking at pebblestep. -
"Pebblestep.."She replied, her tone sharper than she intended it to be.

"Well it would be best if you stayed in our clan until you are not ill pepplestep.' mewed Smallwhisker.

"I'm not ill." Pebblestep snapped, refusing to seem weak.

"Well it's your choice but, if you change your mind I will be here by Moonhigh." mews Smallwhisker as she walks away.
