Ai stood up,"Are you going to tell me why you're in the form you seem to hate so much?"

He raised an eyebrow then shrugged, "This human form; though I'm reluctant to admit it, does has its good uses." He took out the concealed hot dogs from underneath his jacket, a smirk crossed his face.
-
"And Im guessing you stole them?" Ai asked.
-
He smiled sheepishly, "I don't have what you humans call 'money'."
-
"It's fine. You need to eat after all," Ai said, brushing it off,"The hot dog vender is a jerk anyway,"
-
He smiled faintly and sat down near the farm door, he began to eat the hot dog he had; but choked on it due to eating too fast and not chewing. After a couple of moments he managed to shallow it down, in annoyance he glared at the hot dog in his hand, "One thing I detest about this form is the human throat is too narrow." He looked clearly annoyed about it too due to the expression on his face.
-
"You're such a doofus," Ai teased,"You're supposed to chew with your mouth and eat slowly, when you're a human anyway," she said,"No one's gonna take your food away from you here,"
-
He growled in annoyance, "For your information; wolves do not have cheeks, we don't have time to chew!" His gaze landed back on the hot dog with distaste as he muttered, "You humans are strange." Aatu reluctantly began to eat the hot dog, chewing it before swallowing, not wanting to repeat the same process of choking on it again. When he was finished, he stared outside the old farm door, thinking apparently, 'I know it was here... the scent that drew me here...'
-
"Puppy? Puppy?" Ai asked, waving her hand in front of Aatu's face.
-
Aatu blinked twice then turned his head towards Ai, clearly he was pulled out of his wandering thoughts and he looked slightly annoyed as he said, "Don't call me puppy, because I'm not one." His blue eyes seemed to be more focused upon Ai's face now that he had been pulled out of his thoughts, he might as well focus on this human for the time being besides, humans were amusing when they got in trouble or frustrated. But, he found Ai to be... different, more different than anyone that he had seen before, to him, her emotions were so rich and so powerful; and so... fascinating. Aatu blinked as he continued to stare at her, just this small thing was enough to grab his attention. 'Odd... why does she care for wolves so much? Shouldn't she have been upon her father's and her own species' side? But, I do trust her; if she did hate wolves she wouldn't have been helping me...' His eyes narrowed faintly as he thought for a few long moments, he grabbed her hand and stared intently into her eyes, he said in a intent voice, "Why do you care for wolves, why are you helping me? You could've been hurt.... or worse."
-
"Aatu.....um......you're....you're holding my hand....." Olivia stuttered, a large blush spreading across her face like fire."The reason I care for wolves so much? Well, think of it this way. People are upset that tigers are going endangered, and they're more deadly than wolves. I'm not a typical person, so I sought out to help something, something different. I don't believe someone has a bad soul if they have done nothing to you. I want to view the world differently. If people viewed the world differently, then maybe, everything would be perfectly peaceful." Olivia explained.
-
Aatu stared at her for a few long moments, deciding whether or not her answer was good enough. After dictating his thoughts, his facial expression seemed to relax, "You are a very odd human... I guess, there are good in the hearts of humans after all.. you've given me a lot to think about." For the first time, he gave her a small smile and kissed her hand before shifting forms. The black wolf turned and laid down in front of the barn door and curled his tail tip over his nose, waiting her from his place.
-
The red spread to Ai's face when Aatu kissed her hand. She let out a small 'urk' and sat down on wobbly legs before she fell.
-
Aatu's ears perked as he raised his head and stood, walking over quickly. He stared at her for a few long moments, concerned, his tail lashing back and forth in anxiety.
-
"I...I'm okay Aatu...." Olivia said."You just.....startled."
-
Aatu gave an amused snort and put his head under her arm to help her up. His blue eyes was focused upon her face though, seeming like he was wondering what was going on in her head. He stayed where he was until she didn't need his help to stand, but he seemed like in his wolf self that he was trying to surpress a smile, but exactly what kind of smile, he kept it hidden.
-
Ai stood up, looking down at Aatu."Puppy, what's it like as a wolf?" Ai asked, trying not to laugh at the silly nickname she had given him. It was sure to make him mad, but still, it was funny!
-
His eyes narrowed at her in annoyance. He hated that nickname that she had given him. Shifting forms, he was sitting, arms crossed and clearly his face was one of annoyance, "Stop calling me that!" He bared his sharp teth at her then forced himself to relax. Pondering about the question, he tilted his head to one side as he said quietly, "It is... truthfully, amazing. A freedom that none of the human race could understand.." He smiled faintly, "It's mostly instincts more than anything else."
-
"Instincts, huh?" Ai asked."Freedom is nice, but, if given too much freedom, people start to think they can go kill whenever they want. That's why we have rules here. To keep people safe." Ai said, standing up."And I won't call you Puppy anymore, Doggie." Ai laughed.
-
He smiled grimly, "You're right. There are some rules for wolves, that is if you're in a pack." He looked outside and murmured, "But all of the packs were wiped out long ago, including my own-" He cut off the sentence, deeming it a little too awkward to continue on. Yes he had a pack, but he was the... pack leade, or rather the alpha, his father had passed away and just when he was a month into the leadership, the pack was killed. He shook his head and glared at Ai, "And very nice, stop giving me nicknames!"
